Apparently the medication is on high demand because it used for weight loose. she got upset and demanded her meds after 2 weeks waiting and it took her getting upset for them to tell her wait 2 hours you will get your medicine. Ok....first and foremost.. *whether you have somewhere to be...or all the time in the world, STAY AWAY FROM CHECKOUT LANE #1 - the cashier's name is Alba (mind you, bless her heart). She is the slowwwwwwest cashier I've ever endured in the world. It never fails that when I come in at 12 noon or 11pm, whether 10 ppl in line or 1 person...she causes a huge line due to her very delayed cashiering skills. onto other things...there's not much of a selection. In the beauty section, the organic product section has been removed. Staff workers and cashiers generally are not friendly. The lanes and items seem scattered and very unorganized. I loved Long's man it used to be there since I was a child. I only come here in dire need of items since its right across the street. read more

The last time I was at a Long's was when they were located in the Serramonte Shopping Center (RIP). Anyhoo, I was at this mall for lunch and had some time to kill. Went into the Long's to browse. The store is well kept and well stocked. Just as I remembered, they sell everything and anything (toys, different kinds of combs, hair accessories, groceries, novelties, etc.). I found some Del Monte ketchup for $1 a bottle (what a deal!). Store is a little out of the way (if I wasn't there for lunch, I wouldn't take the time to go here) but if you're in the neighborhood, definitely drop in and check out the deals (some deals are cheaper than Walgreens). read more

CVS has really grown on me. I've moved all my prescription business here and as a result, as a side effect, my shopping has also moved here too, instead of Walgreens. CVS contracts with my insurance and I'm able to get my medications covered. The pharmacy staff is really nice, always pretty helpful, and the lines are not really that long. The pharmacy is located within the store and the only downside is that they are not open 24 hours. Other than that, everything seems pretty good. read more

The pharmacy gets SUPER busy around lunch time as this location is across the street from the Walmart e-commerce and Youtube headquarters. Highly recommend going in before 9 for prescriptions to avoid a long wait. There's no self checkout for non-pharmacy items and usually just 1-2 cashiers on duty which is fine unless you stop in around lunch! read more

This is big CVS in the shopping plaza, what stands out is that it has very extensive selection of goods, especially cosmetics and products for body care. There are at least 30 different kind if face masks, including single use and charcoal, domestic and Korean brands! I also like the fact that parking here is easy, and the store had big clean restroom. Definitely a step up from your average CVS store, come check it out! :) read more

This is a review in progress. I went there for my colonic capsules last night and nothing was the same. The store was half converted from being a Long's Drugs, half the shelves were empty and unstocked, and the staff was unsure where things were. It's good that I ran into a church friend of mine that helped me hunt down the section in the pharmacy where my capsules SHOULD have been. They were not stocked yet. There were several things that I liked even while the store was in the process of being converted over. The aisles were wider, the shelvers were lower so you could see over from one aisle to the next, and the signing was clear and helpful. The store appeared to look smaller but it could be because it wasnt as cramped as it once was. I will definitely go back and and check the place out. I will keep you posted....but I feel this will be a good change. Also....the same staff members are there! YAY! read more

The pharmacist was giving me a flu shot and volunteered his opinions about measures of sterility back in the day. He said that a school nurse would use the same syringe to vaccinate 300 kids in a school by only passing the needle through a Bunsen burner. When I mentioned that you surely had to at least boil the rest of the syringe (the glass and metal parts that pump in and out the liquid) as well, he suggested that you just kill everything by passing the needle through the flame. He wasn't just saying that this is what they did back in the day. He suggested that this is sufficient. He may be following current sterility techniques as he was taught for modern times and all of this may not be and issue. I don't know. But I question his common sense. You are mixing liquids in that thing. You may think that you are only pushing out, but liquids mix inside the main compartment of the syringe. You can't just sterilize the needle and call it. I wouldn't trust him as my healthcare practitioner. I don't think I will return. He is a nice guy, but this is serious business. read more

This morning while driving to work on 280, I began having an asthma attack. Partially due to not regularly taking my asthma meds - and especially due to the wildfire smoke in the Bay Area right now. I started getting faint and pulled into the Bayhill Shopping Center to see if CVS had any emergency inhalers. I was getting worse and worried as I slowly made my way to the pharmacy. It wasn't open yet, but people were inside. I got their attention and a woman was nice enough to take me to the section with inhalers. Another employee, Geri, ripped open the box and handed me the inhaler while I sat on the floor in the aisle. She checked on me and kindly walked up front with me where she let me sit for awhile before checking me out. Those ladies did me a huge favor today! It seems people don't take the time to help anyone anymore... and today I got a renewed belief in humans again. Thanks ladies! You're life savers! read more

This review is specific to the store manager, Jim. Not only does he have terrible customer service, but he is incredibly rude and condescending. I came into the store to return a defective product. I had my receipt and the product was purchased only a couple of days before. Jim refused to accept it. His reason, I had returned something to the store in the past and was making "too many returns". I have only returned 1-2 items in the past 9 months! I explained this and even asked to check my account, he refused to talk to me and walked away! Yes, he just walked away. There was no argument. Jim raised his voice and told me to "get out of the store" and to not come back. He said I should go somewhere else. I would like to state that he said this to a 65 year old disabled woman! To make things worse, the cashier (a very nice gentleman named Ed) actually returned the items for me, but there was an issue with extra bucks that were not credited to my account and that's when Jim took back the money, gave me back the items and said he didn't want to return. He did not void the transaction but just took the money!! Now I can't return the items elsewhere because in the system it says they've already been returned as he never even bothered to void the transaction. This is fraud! You can't put that someone returned items that they never did. It is fraud, no other way to describe it. I will not let this kind of behavior go. It will be escalated! Last time I also had a problem with this person because he refused to exchange a defective item because I had a email receipt (I get receipts in my email) vs. a paper receipt. Update: Spoke with district manager Brian who said he would resolve the situation and give me a call back. Well, still no call. I called and left a message but no response. I guess this district manager doesn't really care. No wonder this type of thing happens. Terrible. read more

This Longs Drug store is extremely busy. Its an alternative to shopping at Mollie Stones for snacks and beverages. When I worked across the street, I would walk over to Longs at least twice a week to buy a lottery ticket. It was a good place to walk around and take a break from the office. Some of the stuff is expensive compared to Walmart and Target but the prices are comparable to other Longs drug stores. Beware though, there are shady old people walking around that store. They will try to get you to give you a larger bill for smaller bills. One lady got duped in to giving a 20 to this older man and she got back 15. She didn't think to count the money because he was old. She told the clerk about it. Apparently it wasn't a mistake he wasn't old and couldn't count. He had done that to many other people before. read more

I went there today and there was the problem to apply the in-app coupons. The female cashier (forgot to ask her name) said sorry to me and the ones in the line so many times even it wasn't her fault but the system. She was the most polite cvs staff I've even seen. Love this branch. The cashiers are very friendly in general and willing to help. The male manager always smiles and greets the customers well. The store is bigger/cleaner than many other branches. Worst pharmacy ever. Not even exaggerating. For some reason the pharmacists feel like giving attitude when you can't get your prescription due to authorization. They have zero customer service skills, for lack of a better word, they're just straight mean. My significant other tried to get his prescription here the other day and for the entire day they told him he could not pick up his prescription until they called the doctor and got an authorization which could take 3 business days, but if we wanted to pay out of pocket then they could fill it? They don't make any sense and their prescription prices are extremely high compared to other drugstores. I hate this cvs, my significant other hates it, and my grandmother that lives 2 blocks away from there hates it as well and goes out of her way to go to a different pharmacy since the pharmacists are just downright mean. You could ask them how they're doing and they won't even respond! Just bad vibes from every person behind that counter. read more

I miss Long's Drugs. CVS definitely has its pros and cons. I did like signing up for the CVS Card and the subsequent coupon I got after I purchased some $9 headphones (I had lost my other pair on the way to work via BART, and I NEED music for the commute). I spied the receipt having a $2 same as cash coupon. COOL! Free money! I came back the same day and discovered they had a sale on Pork & Beans in a can, 3/$1. I ended up leaving with 6 cans for free. Some of the sale items are really ridiculously cheap. Other stuff is extremely expensive. Off the top of my head I noted that a pack of Trojan condoms was 3x more expensive than anywhere else. Just do your research and be a smart shopper and CVS will treat you right. read more

This place still weirds me out about how cookie-cutter it has become. It has definitely lost its homey feel. But, and this is the thing that counts--their pharmacy is still top notch and their good, helpful service has not been diminished by being swallowed up by the CVS empire. It's not the closest pharmacy to me, but I know that I will always get good service there. My high school best friend lives across the street from this place. So growing up we would come here all the time to play in the make up section and buy makeup. Visiting here again this week: it hasn't changed much. And in this case that is a good thing: tons of makeup and lotions and stuff to play around with if you are not feeling like making the stop to Nordstrom. Thought I haven't bought drug store makeup in years ( I tend to buy all my makeup from Nordstrom now) if I was a kid again and still into it this would still be my favorite place to be. Everything else is standard drug store stuff. They carry pachuli oil here which my hippie loving boyfriend wears. As far as we know, this is the only chain that carries the stuff and it's the only scent he will wear so we come here whenever he runs out, and like Target I always walk out with more than I came in for. I think they are separating the makeup section to another storefront which will be pretty cool because they have a huge selection of makeup! I've only been here once, so I'm only giving it 4 stars for now. I will give it a more accurate review as I visit more. I used to go to Walgreens Pharmacy in Westborough and it was absolutely painful, so I decided to mix it up and try Longs. This experience was perfect. Since it was the first time I went, I thought there might be a little hassle with insurance or other random things, but there was no problem at all. In fact, everyone there was pleasant and seemed quite happy to be there and doing there job. And best of all, there was no language barrier what-so-ever! makeup shopping has been my new obsession lately and CVS is my drugstore beauty products go-to. It is also pretty cool that this CVS has their 360 store (more prestige/high-end products) right next door that carry some cool brands like H2O, bioelements, etc. they have great sales from time to time at CVS that I love to take advantage of. Another great thing is if your not happy with your makeup (i ended up buying a dried out mascara from maybelline) i returned it opened with no hassle. I think a lot of people are detoured from buying cosmetics at the drugstore because they are afraid they can't return it. Well I'm here to tell you let go of that fear because CVS is pretty good with their return policy. read more

CVS.....YES YES YES! This particular CVS tends to get crowded in the late afternoon but if you get here in the morning it is a lot easier to checkout. Came here to get some party supplies, drinks, and it was easy. The had soda on sale, 4 for $5. How could you turn that down! Loaded up on drinks and kept it moving to the spirits. Most of the spirits that they have are knocked down in price if you are a member which is nice. I usually come here if there is not a Bevmo in the area. I actually prefer the prices here compared to other grocery stores. Some might have an issue with the number of registers open though. When I was here there were only 2 registers open. That sucks when the lines are LONG! My guess is that they are hiring more associates to help in the later hours seeing as how there was a sign up indicating they the are looking to hire more employees. That should definitely change the checkout process for a lot of customers as well. The staff here is rather nice. That is a huge plus as well. I came and got my goodies and kept it moving.
