This is my second time coming here! The first time ive been was back in 2019 and i also got waffles with whipped cream and strawberries! It was soo good and i decided to come back again. This time it was different because they changes the waffles and it was slightly burnt. Overall it was filling but the first time couldn't be beat! Service was fine and it was a cute place to eat. Came here for some breakfast and had a great experience. The food came out fast and was delicious. I got the crispy pork belly and eggs with garlic fried rice and my partner got the corned beef hash with eggs. The pork belly comes with mang tomas, which is a Filipino brown dipping sauce for fried pork belly/lechon kawali. The toast came out a little cold but overall we really enjoyed our meal. Camino Corner was a solid brunch option during the week. Our party of 6 was seated outside without a wait and I liked their little patio space with the nice weather. Servers were friendly and took our orders for drinks right as we sat down. Menu is pretty large, with sweet and savory breakfast options and a small lunch section. Food took a little while to come out, but we weren't in a rush. I got the crispy pork belly over garlic rice with 2 over-medium eggs. They give a really solid portion of the lechon kawali and I really loved the balance of tender meatiness and crispy fattiness. The rice was a little disappointing, the grains of rice were a little bit too separated and I didn't get very much garlic flavor. One of my eggs had a yolk that popped, so it wasn't runny at all. I haven't been here in a long while. It's good to know this place is still around.  Upon entering, the place like like it's had a remodel, but the layout is still the same.  You get a more homey and comforting kind of vibe.  The place was pretty busy for early Sunday morning.      I was greeted and helped right away by the only lady helping everyone.  She was so happy and very attentive.       We ordered: 1.  Breakfast sandwich with bacon, sausage, and ham -   This was amazing.  The bread was nice and crunchy.   It didn't fall apart or get all soggy. Each bite was delicious 2.  Country #2 (mini sampler)- 4 pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, ham steak, and 3 eggs.  This was enough to feed a family, lol.   Can't go wrong with this.   Definitely enough to feed at least 2 people. 3.  Crispy pork belly and egg over garlic rice - To be honest, I was skeptical, but it was amazing.  The pork was meaty, not all fat like at some places.  Skin was crunchy.   It was a perfect balance that just kept you wanting to eat more.    I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back. read more

Dropped in because we were meeting a family member who comes here regularly. Food: We ordered a number of breakfast/lunch dishes including a pork belly dish, an avocado BLT, a kids breakfast and a California omelette to name a few. All delicious Service: The service was excellent. The waitstaff was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Value: Definitely good value but it's a "treat" meal and not an everyday meal - maybe once or twice a month- because the dishes cost a little more than your average breakfast or lunch meal. But as I said it's a good value based on the portions and quality and service. I would recommend them and I would be open to come again myself. read more

I've been craving Filipino food for weeks, especially for breakfast. My sister recommended Camino Corner in San Bruno so I decided to visit and give the food a try. The restaurant was easy to find and there was plenty of parking at the time I went which was at 10AM. There was indoor/outdoor seating and I was seated as soon as I walked in. It was a hot day in the bay so I decided to dine inside. That was a big mistake because there wasn't AC and it was super hot. The thermostat on the wall read 82 degrees inside!. This was the only reason why I gave 4 stars. It was a little on the pricier end compared to other places. The service was great and the server was so nice. Took my order right away and they cook literally across the dining area where you can hear the food sizzling. My food came within 10 mins and the smell, I'm telling you it was like waking up in the morning to my mom cooking breakfast when I was a kid. I ordered their crispy pork belly over garlic fried rice with two eggs. I also got longanisa, pancakes, and fried plantain on the side. The pork belly was tender and crispy at the ends. The longanisa was really good. Rule of thumb is when you burp after eating it and it smells like someone was still cooking it, you know it had tons of flavor. The fried plantain was good and it curbed my sweet tooth. The pancake was fluffy and tasted like a regular pancake from any diner. It was still good though. Classic breakfast diner for anyone in San Bruno, small business too! Went here for my brother's birthday breakfast with my fam, our waitress was so sweet and helpful. The place looked modern, cute lil polaroid pics on the wall. Everything came in fast, my parents loved it here and can't wait to try more of their foods. My order: Good Morning Special - 2 delicious and fluffy pancakes with soft scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. I got the Country # 2 that came with 4 pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 1/2 ham steak and 3 eggs. The pancakes weren't spectacular but pretty normal. I'd say to not get the fried chicken and waffles. Traveling down El Camino, we stopped for some breakfast. We ordered a BLT with potato salad and a spinach and mushroom omelette with hash browns. I would say there was no fuss no muss with this eatery. We were served quickly, the food was simply plated with no fanfare of garnish or color, but it was all good. Camino Corner first opened in 1988 and has been part of the community for decades. Despite growing up around the area and Camino Corner being open before I was even born, I still never got to try out this small local diner until recently. I have to say that I was pretty impressed with my experience coming here on a slow weekday afternoon. The parking lot is small, but there is plenty of nearby parking. I used to go to the Fat Wongs nearby daily as a kid, but never really noticed this spot for the longest time. The inside isn't modern, but it has a nice family feel and the service is pretty good. You sit down and order and I got the Camino Omelette ($18.65) plus my choice of hash browns and english muffin. I also had to get a side of a Waffle ($8.95). It is also an open kitchen so you can really hear and see your food being prepared especially your omelette eggs getting beaten. The pictures don't do the food justice because they look huge in person and it is almost impossible to clean the whole plate. The Camino Omelette is their pricier omelette, but it was absolutely loaded with so much bacon, ham, breakfast sausage, and mushrooms that I had no complains about the pricing with how good it was. The avocados on top with the cheese also made it even tastier. It was a very flavorful and hearty meal. Their hash browns are also honestly better than most hash browns I have had at other restaurants. They are so crispy and you don't get a frozen taste like some places. I also love waffles that are soft and aren't crunchy, but thats a preference as I don't like having the roof of my mouth scraped. Their waffles are so soft and fluffy and I really like the batter they used. It was a 10/10 for me. If I'm ever craving breakfast while near San Bruno I'd definitely come back to Camino Corner for more. read more

Updating my review - whenever I come to Camino Corner now, I always get the longanisa and eggs, eggs over easy, with sourdough toast on the side. The longanisa is sweet and they give you a vinegar sauce on the side to dip it in. The combination is perfection. I then love to break open the eggs and get the yolks over the sausage for an extra layer of savoryness. Then, any leftover yolk you have, you mop it up with the toast. We also ordered the 6 tiny pancakes for our two toddlers to share and the kitchen put in an extra effort to turn the pancakes into mini micky mouse shapes and split the meal onto two plates for us. Upon checking out, you can help yourself to some complimentary lollipops they have by the cashier, which my son did gladly. Great go-to breakfast spot for us! read more

i needed a casual, no rushing, no frills place to meet an old friend whom i hadn't seen in a couple of decades. we wanted to meet somewhere halfway between sf and redwood city...this place was perfect, not far from the freeway, not super busy/noisy area, free parking in the lot, and side streets, and a chill vibe. we actually wanted to sit outside, but every table was taken! a testament to the nice weather that day. we sat inside next to a window, so we could still enjoy the outdoors with our eyes. i decided to do a "self build" omelette, since i could choose up to 6 ingredients (most restaurants only let you choose 3 or 4!) so i opted for shrimp, spinach, mushroom, avocado, bell pepper, onion, with a side of roasted tomatoes and whole wheat toast. ($17.65 + little extra for the egg white substitute). my friend ordered some sort of omelette with meat, cheese, the works, english muffin and potatoes. her plate had a LOT of food, so much so that she couldn't finish it! good thing they had take out boxes. but she seemed pleased with both the quantity and quality of the food. i will deduct a couple of points for service: -ordering food was quick, but we waited quite a while for food to be cooked and brought to our table (based on the timestamp of my photo, we waited about 40 minutes) -while ordering, we requested 2 separate checks, which was agreed upon, but when the check came, everything was put onto a single bill. not a huge deal, we just told them how much to put on each credit card, but still.... overall, we both enjoyed this cafe, and we liked that we were able to sit there for 3+ hours, just catching up and chatting, enjoying the beautiful day. read more

The owner and servers are super sweet and nice. The restaurant looks like a coffee shop. We had chicken teriyaki & rice, spam and eggs , pork chops and eggs. The pork chops were (2) 1" thick and marinated. The meal came with 3 eggs choice of potatoes, rice or garlic rice (additional cost). All breakfast plates come with those choices, toast of your choice or english muffin. Additional choices for a $1.00 or more are pancakes , waffles or french toast, fruit, plantains, grilled tomatoes, croissant, bagel, or biscuits. Definitely a lot of side choices to choose from. If Yelp only offered 1/2 stars...I would give them 3.5 stars. It's a cute little breakfast/lunch spot. There is a small parking lot, but it's shared with other businesses--street parking was not hard to find. There's a small outdoor patio seating (dog friendly) as well as as indoor seating. It was a beautiful sunny day and I wanted to wait for the patio seating. The patio has picnic-like tables or you could opt to sit where there were a couple of metal patio tables near the front entrance, next to the parked cars (literally next to the a parked car)--not ideal for my dining experience so I opted to wait--which was almost 40 minutes. After getting seated, we were handed an extensive breakfast/lunch menu--plenty of choices, from traditional breakfasts to omelettes, scrambles, waffles, burgers, etc. We each ordered benedicts--the traditional with country potatoes and a country with hash browns. We also ordered a side pancake. Both benedict's were tasty, the eggs were perfectly poached. I had plenty of country gravy for my biscuits. My biscuits were a little a little on the dry side. The hash browns were crispy. The coffee was weak. We were not asked/offered water at any time during our meal. Overall, it was an okay dining experience and a nice neighborhood place for breakfast.
