Gee I am surprised at the low score. Since I have been using this pharmacy for over 20 years and they have always help me with all my meds and been very nice too. If I have a question or a concern I just come in and talk to one of the pharmacists working. When it was 24/7 I would always have a pleasant chat with the fella who worked nights and he would explain the computer system and why it would sometimes think outside the box and say there was no drug available when in actuality it was there. When u use a computer to think for u one has to check just to be on safe side. I like the quick line but I feel sorry for the people who do not use it since it lets me in and out of the store in a flash! read more

He acted like a male version of a 'Karen,' like customer service doesn't matter, and felt entitled and racist. I felt insulted because your other CVS locations treat customers with dignity and outstanding service; this felt like I was shopping at Long Drugs and Thrifty. This store has terrible customer service; however, your pharmacy could teach that manager about customer service, because at least the pharmacy is great at customer service. It's supposed to be 24hrs but it's not! It always have a sign taped to the door written in pen saying closed or be back for lunch. Once it hits 1-2 AM that sign is up and even after it's still up and the guy is in his white old station wagon sleep. This night Jan 21, 2023 it was me another customer walking to the door making a bet to see if the doors would open. There it was the sign. We both talked about how it's never open. Surprised to see a rating below 3.5 stars here. Then I scrolled down and read them and understood why. Well, I get that many of you are likely coming here to use the 24-hour pharmacy as advertised by them. However, given the current state of affairs, I hope that people could be more understanding and compassionate about the circumstances. I generally come here weekday mornings to shop for items that I cannot find in my neighborhood CVS in San Francisco. I've asked my local store about ordering my desired items but they are unable to stock the shelves with what I want. I recently visited and the item was in the lockbox. I rang the doorbell and a gentleman kindly brought my purchase items to the counter for the cashier to ring up. I had a 30% off entire purchase coupon as well as a 40% off one item from my friend that I used in buying a number of items. All told, I was in and out in less than ten minutes, even with one person ahead of me in line. I will be back when my friend is short on that unavailable in SF item. 2:30am and my husband needed to get fever medicine for our 5 year old only to show up to this 24 hour cvs for a taped sign that it is "closed for lunch" no time stated of when it will reopen. I took my child to take flu shot. She was crying and the pharmacist and I were trying to calm her down a few mins later, the pharmacy manager came in and said they can't administer the shot if she's being "combative". I'm like she's not being combative, she's just crying. She's like ok now you are being combative. At this point I did not respond. How is disagreeing with someone combative? How is a kid crying during pre-shot considered combative? Combative is a strong word - she should understand the meaning of this word and the circumstances before using this word. For those taking care of a homebound person, I want to share how CVS helped me, especially the clerks and manages who understand the needs of the homebound, take care of my parents with all of their health needs when their own health care provider would not help In short, for dementia, they have "Bright Strong" with Ginko Biloba, and Choline, though not a cure, but it helps, and is much cheaper than stronger brands, which may be more effective, but are very expensive to use daily. Be aware that dementia can influence one's inability to walk or transfer. As my parents ability declined, CVS had canes, walkers, wheelchairs and commodes that were very helpful For skin cancer, "Skin Tag Oil", again, not a cure, but seemed to prevent my mom's skin cancer from growing, which became an open wound about 1 inch diameter, and keeping a stasis. It may be the ingredient "Thuja Occidentalis" made from conifer oils, that has anti-cancer properties. With this wound care with saline solution, sometimes hydrogen peroxide, which deeply cleanses and may have anti-cancer properties, yet, too much can prevent healthy skin from regrowing, and iodine, which may have anti-cancer properties, with rolled gauze used as a bandage and hold with clear or cloth tape. If wound is more serious then use gauze pads or adhesive bandages. For incontinence, 3x4 ft thick cloth pads which are washable were helpful at night and as padding on the wheelchair, and adult undergarments, be it Depends or the CVS brand worked well For bed sores, if minimal, like skin irritation, then Caladryl or the CVS brand are good, but they can get worse quickly and become an open wound, then use Caloseptine, a thick cream, which works well, and maybe cover with an adhesive bandage For bowel movement issues, to keep things regular and avoid constipation or diarrhea, daily probiotic yogurt, like Acitiva, with a good fiber cereal like Grape Nuts, which taste good together, and a spoonful of Metamucil (try different spoon sizes to find what works for the individual) helps a lot. For difficulty in urination, or prostate issues, especially if typical medication from doctors loses its ability, they say the issue is that the prostate has grown with old age and limits the urethra, which is true, but there are natural remedies that deal with urinary tract and kidney infections that result, and for women, not necessarily related to the prostate, but other factors. So, Saw Palmetto, one pill per day and maybe work up to two or three per day, find out what works for the individual, three may be too strong, but Saw Palmetto, I found, going back a century, made from the Palm Plant, has been used to decrease prostate gland, regulating the change in hormones that occur in old age, that cause the increase. Also, difficulty in urination is not only because of growth of the prostate, but of the resulting urine that remains in the gall bladder unable to expel, and can cause infection in the Urinary Tract System, including the kidneys 100 % cranberry juice (most are only 25%, so look at the label), about 4 oz per day and 8 cups purified water or 600mls water per day helps. I have been on my own since I was 14 years old ,now I am 62. I have seen it all in my life. I know she was manipulating the system. She made a deal with the shop lifters to steal as much as they can ,but not to forget her cut ,but she was firing the newcomers employees by accusing them for stealing ,so she can show CVs how good she was ,and making money on the side as well That's why she was on my case everytime I baled a shoplifter with a good reason. I went into this CVS yesterday and I am absolutely disgusted at the treatment my family and I received. I took my teenage niece to buy some make up and I quickly noticed one of the employees was following us and standing there watching us the entire time we were looking at the lashes (they were locked up anyway). I asked my niece to approach the employee to unlock the lashes she wanted , the employee took them to the cash register, and we proceeded to look around at other make up. I left my niece for 5 minutes while I walked around and looked at other things. I noticed the same employee was still following me, and when I found my niece again she looked distressed and said the manager or man in a different clothing, was following her around the store. She was so uncomfortable that she put back make up products (in the wrong section). We went to check out and the man approached my teenage niece and accused her of stealing and she replied and told him no that she put it back. He demanded she show him where she returned the items. I did not allow her to leave with him and I told him to check the cameras if he was so worried about the products. My niece was so upset that she just left to the car due to this treatment. There was many people inside that store at the time, yet they only decided to follow around the Latina's. I am so disgusted by this treatment. I have been to almost all CVS around the Bay Area and have never been treated this way. Shame on the employees for treating people like this and to follow around a child in the store, as a man. This place has just about everything but a grocery. Essentially Target without the produce and frozen food section. YOU CAN"T BEAT THAT! There is something for just about any an every occasion. I frequent this particular CVS because I work in the area. I usually just come here to grab water and snacks which are always fully stocked here. I actually prefer to come here over Walgreens which also happens to be in the area as well. There seems to be more options here for everything in comparison to Walgreens. I always come to this CVS for all my prescriptions drugs and people are friendly, helpful and efficient! I notice the services is not as good as before! Recently they put down the wrong "days supply" for the prescription and putting the refill on hold without texting me that it was not refilled! I made a trip and realized there is nothing there because it was put on hold! I was so puzzled and after many research and realize the days supplies was changed to 90 days instead of 18! This clerical error causing customer to make few trips and even ask the doctor to prescribe another order! Please be more careful when entering details!
