Went today to grab some necessary items and the doors were locked with a sign posted Closed as of today December 9th 2025.

I am no stranger to how short staffed retail pharmacies are, workers work long hours and theres a lot of behind the scenes work with answering phone calls, calling back prescribers, etc. however,this pharmacy consistently underperforms. Particularity the techs, I have interacted with the same young woman multiple times about my child's medication and every time she cannot look up the medication and will need to ask her coworker. I have even called before for medication and was told it was ready, only to be told when I am in person that it's not available. Furthermore the automated telephone system for refills states my RX will be ready by the following day. yet when I go two days later I am told the medication is not ready and in fact not even in stock. It's a lot of wasted time. Walgreens please train your workers and also fix the telephone refill system. read more

This pharmacy has no sense of urgency whatsoever. In person, the people that are supposed to be ringing you up will be talking and laughing to the other techs in the back. Mind you, there's a long line going on. Even if there isn't a long line, they're having some type of conversation in the back that has nothing to do with the work. I don't mind them talking off topic during work hours, just take care of the customers first before doing that! Not to mention, they're just as bad over the phone. I spoke to the manager today march 15,2025 @ 2:38 pm saturday and it was a guy i ask regarding of my photo order and he just said that the person who does the picture wont be at work til tuesday and didnt even apologize atleast and didnt recieve and call when the promise time its suppose to be today saturday @9:15 am and he just keep saying "do u want to keep the photo here or order somewhere else " read more

This rating is solely for Jo Ardy from the Pharmacy. His personalized care and his efforts to go above and beyond is super impressive. I have switched pharmacies mostly because of his service. He makes an effort to remember who I am, greets me enthusiastically either by phone or in person. He even recommended a website for me to check out in order to have my copay covered on my last visit. He didn't have to do it, but he took the time to do it. He's awesome and I will keep going back to this pharmacy even if it's a little further from my previous one since Jo Ardy makes me feel valued and appreciated. read more

0 stars for this store for Photos. I had order a framed canvas from the Walgreens in Millbrae and canceled it due to lack of supplies. I placed an online order for the same framed canvas said it would be ready for pick up by 1:02pm. Went to the store around 2:10pm-2:15pm. When I spoke with the employee about seeing if my framed canvas was done she told me no the guy working on it barely came in at 2pm. She said it would be about another hour. One of the worst and slowest Walgreens in the county. The workers don't care if there's a long line nor did they seem to know what's on sale. I had a coupon an they didn't know how to ring it up and when I asked them on the price on the hand sanitizer they had no clue and even when they scanned it it didn't have a price. They seem to always be out of stock on items on sale. Parking is okay as long as you don't park in front. I'm really surprised this place hasn't closed down yet. read more

Joyce, the photo center cashier refused to ring up my purchase because there was a huge line in the front of the store and said it would be "unfair" that I get rung up before they did. Now, I didn't cut in front of anyone, Joyce was just standing in front of an open register in the photo center area of the store. I explained to Joyce that she was standing in front of an open register... but alas, Joyce was justifying how lazy she truly was and refused to ring up a paying customer. Very annoying by the guy who wore white uniform in the pharmacy, I thought he's the one who's going to do the vaccine for me, thank God he's not! I scheduled A/B and TD at this store, I received a call 1.5 hour before my appointment said they don't have TD available, I still went there... he kept asking me again and again why I took the vaccine, I told him mine was overdue and my physician told me to do as well, he was nonstop asking me the same question 3-4x, when I told him I also scheduled TD, he said TD is Tdap! What?! Really?! Seriously?! As a person who's wearing white uniform and working in pharmacy gave patient incorrect information?! How can he work there? read more

Ahhhh, Walgreens. You robbed me of my joy getting my first dose of the Covid vaccine. I did as you asked: showed up 15 minutes early with completed paperwork to my 12:05pm vaccine appointment. The line was out the door. After standing in line for 10 minutes, someone told me I had to check in at a folding table hidden between the aisles in the middle of the store. Got out of the big line to get a piece of paper - just to get back in the big line again. You had one person processing paperwork. That line took 1 hour and 45 minutes. You had one person administering the vaccine shot. That line took 40 minutes. All together it took me almost 2.5 hours to get my first vaccine shot. All inside a store with 30-50 other people. That's the most Covid un-friendly environment I've been in during the last year! Why schedule me for a 12:05 appointment when you're not going to give me the shot until after 2pm? Is it because you just want the vaccine reimbursements from insurance companies and the federal government? Sadly, yes. I think about the productivity of all those people waiting - wasted. I also feel guilty complaining when there are so many people in other countries who would wait for hours to get the vaccine. But still... My spouse went to Rite-Aid in San Mateo and was in and out in 28 minutes (including the 15 minute post-vaccine waiting period). Walgreens, you can do better. Or you deserve to go the way of other companies who don't value their customers' time. read more

They improved for a while, but they're backsliding again. I have called them three times today. They have hung up on my twice and kept me on hold for OVER TWO HOURS in total. Their excuse for that is "We're understaffed," but that is a reason, not an excuse. There is no excuse for customer service this bad, but to Walgreens it's good enough. read more

On Walgreens website it didn't say KP not allow to get Covid shot there, by the time I got there and waited for 30 minutes than I got told that they can't give me a Covid shot. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I had an experience with the pharmacy that I'd like to share. I had an appointment at 5pm, only to have an employee call me around 4:30pm and say they only offer help until 4. I got there early, so I went in to talk to the pharmacy. The employee I talked to was passive about the phone call, even though their pharmacy hours are not updated. The hours on the pharmacy window also state they're open until 6pm. (LOL.) I called them back after their voicemail and didn't get a response, so it was bizarre to me that they took my so-called lack of communication to heart. When asked about my health conditions, the employees were a bit rude as well. I'm lucky to only have asthma, but if I were someone with a serious chronic illness who didn't look the part, this could have been deeply damaging. I'd like to clarify there was a misunderstanding on my part. I thought I could get a second booster even though I don't qualify yet. That isn't anyone's fault and I should have researched more. However, I didn't appreciate the way I was treated especially considering that I didn't do anything to provoke the employees. They have a difficult job, but I would have appreciated common courtesy. I have been waiting on hold over 52 minutes just to check on a prescription status. Ridiculous. Finally Jenny picked up and told me it would be a 30 minute wait once we get there because the prescription isn't ready. What horrible customer service. I am getting really tired of handing my hard earned money over to rude, obnoxious, unprofessional people. While growing bored watching the cashier slowly replenish the cigarette cabinet I asked was he the only register or is another one open (Cosmetics and Photo often have cashiers at the ready) He gave me a dirty look and started berating me: "You do not need to antagonize me like this. Ask me nicely to ring you up and I will. Being rude is unnecessary - it's the holidays. How was I supposed to know if you were ready or still shopping? You don't need to talk to me like that!" I asked a very simple question, Listening to a grown man twice my age lecture me like a child is terribly inappropriate and extremely unprofessional. He shoved the bag into my daughters hand, we slowly walked out, he cheerfully calls out "Happy Holidays" (probaby for show to the next approaching customer) I realized when I got home that I wasn't asked to slide my rewards card so I paid full price for items I specifically went there to buy on sale. I also didn't sign for my credit card on the screen because he didn't prompt me to - instead he gave my daughter the bag. I now believe he made it a point not to give me a receipt so I would have a hard time reporting him. WRONG. I have the date, time, and my real-time credit card statement online to give corporate my transaction number. I hope management watches the in-store camera to see the ridiculous exchange and how he was aggressively posturing. I really felt like he was going to punch me in my face. My daughter was afraid he was going to throw something at me with his balled up fists and clenched teeth. Sir, you are incorrect. YOU do not need to antagonize ME. It literally is your job to take my hard earned money for the items I want to purchase. I do not need to put you in a good mood to do that. You get paid to be courteous and professional to EVERY customer. I am sure upper management can teach you that valuable lesson. Maybe the 25th experience with Walgreens being a total disaster but came for a booster shot with appt and have waited 1.5 hrs, and still in line. This is common. The pharmacy is terrible. If you call, be prepared to wait on hold for at least 20 minutes and you will likely be hung up on or if someone answers, they will tell you incorrect information. For example, I tried to call the pharmacy yesterday and was on hold for 25 minutes, when the pharmacist finally answered, I was told that my prescription wouldnt be ready until the following day. When I went to pick it up the next day, I waited in line for another 30 mins only to be told that I wouldn't be able to pick up my prescription until the next day. Now I am completely out of my medication and have spent hours wasted on the phone and in store just trying to get medication that I need to function! I still don't have my medication as I am writing this post! I have used Walgreens for over 30 years, but now I'll be looking for a different pharmacy. Of all the Walgreens Ive been to, this is the only place that I will give 5 stars. The employees here were really accomodating and helpful especially their manager, Bri who came to help me. Bri greeted me politely and attended to my needs. Aside from being beautiful, I believe that shes an exceptional manager the way she speaks to her employees and a great role model. I know this Walgreens get a bad rap and I admit I usually avoid shopping here at peak times and in general, but I want to shout out to the pharmacists - Jenny, Nancy, and Sanjay. I've been picking up prescriptions from this pharmacy for a few years now and they have been nothing but helpful, considerate, and patient. Sure, the line can be slow moving some days (usually being accommodating to other customers' needs, which is their job) , but I usually try to go at off times. I also received my flu shot here this past year from Sanjay, which was super easy and convenient. I just want to say thank you! read more

The pharmacy is the worse I've ever dealt with. I saw a doctor I hadn't seen in a while and he sent a prescription there, instead of the SSF Walgreen's. I had hoped it was running more smothly than it did when I used it in the past - but that was wishful thinking! I got a text asking me to call the pharmacy to update my insurance. I was at work, but called to get it taken care of. I was on hold for over 20 minutes then was hung up on. Called again, hung up on after 27 minutes this time. Called back, same thing. Over an hour wasted. I finally called the front of the store to see if there was something wrong with the pharmacy phone but they didn't know anything, and transferred me back to the pharmacy...same thing! Pharmacy is clearly understaffed and poorly organized. Medications routinely expire while you are waiting for others to be approved. If you are a senior hoping to make one trip to the pharmacy to pick up all of your medications together, forget about it. That just doesn't seem possible for them, so prepare to make multiple trips to the pharmacy in any given week. And good luck getting ahold of them on the phone to sort your issue, hour long hold times/disconnections have become routine here. read more

Located right down the street from me so I've been going here every week or 2 over the last 12 years for just a few things I regularly need. The Pharmacy staff is quite good; friendly, professional and helpful. But otherwise the experience is usually unpleasant since they are chronically understaffed and trying to get help with anything is almost a useless effort. Not the staff's fault probably- they seem fine enough but are just phoning it in and glazed over. Poor management is likely the cause. Just had to wait 10 minutes on the phone with a question to finally get a crackly connection and someone I could not understand without repeating each word 4 times. read more

I'm going to give 5 stars to Sanjay the pharmacist who is always courteous, professional and caring. He never seems rushed or stressed and always gives his full attention to the customer and resolving any issues or questions. This review is for the photo lab. Don't get your prints made here. Mine were so blue they were unusable, and the staff admitted to having a long running problem since all Walgreens started using cheaper paper for prints. At least they gave me my money back, and the staff was friendly. If you have to go somewhere use Target's online photo center. And definitely don't go to Wal-Mart (unless you like going to a photo lab that never actually gives you your photos). read more
