The person who called was adamant that I get all of my prescriptions transferred to them even though I never even listed this pharmacy on anything with my doctor's office! Not just that, but he tried to put a guilt trip on me about all the work they did for a prior authorization from my insurance company. THATS YOUR JOB!! Then, when they try to call, god forbid if you're busy and they can simply leave a message. Nope. They'll call back three times, back to back to back! People have jobs and lives outside of being at a pharmacy's beck and call just to answer a phone call.

I finally decided to switch to a pharmacy that was closer to where I had moved, in North Orange County. That was about 8-months ago. The reason for the updated review is because in the last 2-months Tustin Pharmacy has run my prescription refills without me asking for refills. And since they are running them without my consent when I attempt to order refills at my new pharmacy they cannot process the refills because it looks like I have already picked up the prescriptions. Over the last 2-months I have had to call my insurance company and they have had to intervene by calling Tustin Pharmacy. What REALLY made me mad this month is that Tustin Pharmacy actually called me last week saying "calling to let you know your prescriptions are ready" and I specifically told them to please back them out, and remove my prescriptions from their system. And here I am a week later... they ran them without my consent and I am having to have my insurance company step-in again so I can pick up my medications. DON'T USE TUSTIN PHARMACY!

What I like about this location is its smaller or feels more like a community store. They do a pretty good job of cramming in enough variety in their small footprint so make it so don't have to visit another grocery store. Sadly, I always feel like I have to stop at Vons to pick up something they didn't have, and vice versa. The one thing they need to work on is removing outdated sale prices. Twice in the past couple of months, the sale price listed didn't ring up, or wouldn't scan into the app, because it had expired. Now to their credit, they honored the sales price at the register, but it still held up the line while they verified the sale price. I assume they'll move to the digital price tags soon which will solve the problem, but until then, watch your receipt!

I went to the deli and Daniel was extremely rude and completely unhelpful. Then I went over to the meat department and waited about 7 minutes while the butcher walked in and out of the back several times. Not once did he acknowledge me or ask if I needed help, so I finally just left. To make matters worse, as I was looking around for other items to purchase, I noticed several things were already expired or expiring that same day. Nothing felt fresh or well stocked. I don't expect employees to go above and beyond every time I shop, but basic courtesy and acknowledgment shouldn't be too much to ask. Unfortunately, this hasn't been the first time I've felt that the staff here are rude and dismissive. For a neighborhood grocery store that I'd really like to support because of its convenience, it's incredibly disappointing.

Called here today and not only did they have the med in stock, Mary gave quick attention to it, knowing I was desperate to get it filled today. I wasn't able to get the prescription sent in til 3, and the pharmacy closes at 5...Mary quickly got the script in and asked me to be there by 4:20 to be in the area. I got to the parking lot just before 4pm and within 5 minutes, Mary called letting me know it was ready! So so grateful that they had the med in stock and got script filled so quickly for me. It also feels like the busiest Stater Bros in the area. Because it can be busy, the parking lot can be a bit of a mess with people jockeying for the closest spot. I usually park closer to the In and Out, but then you have to make sure you avoid their drive-thru overflow. Since Stater Bros doesn't have self-check-out (I'm leaving out the debate on this one, just stating a fact), if you only need a few items, the lines can be quite slow. Even on the 15-item-or-less line, everyone appears to have the max. The workers I've experienced have all been very nice and professional. Prices can be hit and miss when you compare to Vons/Ralphs, but they won't rip you off.

They have a nice deli, sushi station, freshly cut fruit selection, etc. It's much more upscale feeling than I'd expect from the outside. The meat is excellent, and the butchers are knowledgeable and helpful. They have helped us with many a special order over the years, and when we have guests over, people often compliment our meat and ask where it's from! The best part about this store is the employees, who are helpful, friendly, and clearly take pride in their work. Many of the same people have been there for the many years we've been shopping here, and their experience shows in the quality of service. You'll often see the managers walking around and helping out, and if you look like you need assistance, someone is sure to jump in!

Walmart Pharmacy Review: I accompanied my aunt to fill a…read moreprescription because she only speaks Spanish. I walked up with my aunt to the drop-off counter, but they refused to let me be an interpreter (I am a horrible translator/interpreter). I understand the confidentiality and privacy concerns, but they didn't have anyone at the pharmacy to interpret and translate to Spanish. It was taking forever because the technician/pharmacist didn't understand my aunt, nor did she understand him. I also remember that he refused to accept the GoodRx card to fill the prescription. My aunt and I left frustrated, annoyed, and she was in pain without her prescription being filled. How could they not have a bilingual pharmacist? Santa Ana is right next door. I think my aunt and I tried one more time to fill her prescription (hoping they had a Spanish-speaking pharmacist), but this time the technician said that they had an interpreter and walked us both over to a station in the pharmacy where he simply pressed a button (seemed like an intercom) where my aunt had to wait by herself to speak to this interpreter (I had to stand back) with the pharmacist. The technician/pharmacist kept pressing that button for a Spanish interpreter to voice through from the other end. It also took forever for anyone to speak back from that button, but the audio was so bad that even the technician/pharmacist couldn't understand them. Furthermore, the volume was excessively loud, which was embarrassing for my aunt. My aunt and I had to leave again, frustrated, annoyed, and she was in pain without her prescription being filled.
