Slowest service I've ever experienced in a pharmacy. I was 3rd in line and it took half an hour to get my Rx

Booked appt for 2:30pm. Arrived at 2:15 and checked in on the app. Went up to the counter and stated I had an appt at 2:30 at 2:35. The attendant said someone will be right with me. A couple minutes later went by and still waiting. I was the only one in this small drive thru shop. I asked again and the lady asked if I had an appt. I said yes and that it was at 2:30. She said she doesn't see anyone in the system. I said to check again. She saw my name and I advised that I had been waiting since 2:15. I was finally called at 3:05pm. The pharmacy technician was having trouble checking me in. I finally saw their two interns who were practicing how to vaccinate me as they had never used the specific needle. I finally got out the pharmacy at 3:15pm. The facility needs to be better at honoring appointments on time when you only have one patient/customer in the building! read more

has to use the restroom and it was disgusting!!! no tissue..soap ,,, totally nasty!!!! and they have a pharmacy... where's the cleanliness ... yes i do expect a total clean environment..when i am a consumer......,, just by seeing how the restroom looked ,, turns my totally off from doing any business here.. read more

This review is for Walgreens at 3237 E Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92869 (cross street Prospect). Some reviews here are for another Walgreens nearby. I've been coming to this Walgreens #3636 for years. I love the staff and their service here. They're very friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable. It's a wonderful neighborhood spot because of its location and connections to medical providers. There's sometimes a wait but never too long to be angry about. Sometimes the phone recorded voice mail I received does not come through clearly. But that's likely due to a glitch with Walgreens corporate technology. Overall, this Walgreens is great and a community gem! read more

Great pharmacy. It's opened 24 hours a day, everyday. It can be a little slow depending on how many customers and how many staff. They are helpful and friendly. They offer vaccines and COVID testing too. The store has a lot of great items you may need too. read more

Wife has her medications filled here. Wife informs me her meds are ready for pickup so I go to the drive thru. Keep in mind the pharmacy called her. Ok I give the clerk the information, the phone and speaker they use is from 1980 and you cannot understand her, she looks it up, 5 minutes pass, she asks another person for help. 5 minutes pass as they stare at the computer screen and then inform me " we have to call the dr's office for a refill' Ok, you called us, keep that in mind. two weeks pass. Wife says ,oh yeah, the pharmacy called can we pick up my prescription. We drive to the window, ground hog day, lady cannot hear me, I cannot hear her she can't find it on the computer, two people come over to discus with her. She finally said "can you come back in 20 minutes'? I ask her, why did you call to say it was ready when it is not. We leave, drive to Albertson's pharmacy, explain the situation and they will transfer the prescriptions to their pharmacy. You decide. read more

Linh was absolutely horrible and rude my children are in foster care and needed medication they ran out of (lawfully). She insisted he did not call it in even though I had proof on my phone that the doctor submitted the order I will have the social worker I will also notify the children's attorney and will be calling Walgreens, pharmacy, and speaking to this representative. Easy to deal with if your Doctor ever sends you prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Have been using this pharmacy for the last six years.

I usually avoid chains but Dr sent it here. I did not receive a notification when my order ready. The staff was very pleasant to customers, friendly and professional. read more

My 90 y/o mom has been trying to call the pharmacy and is put on incessantly. No one ever answers her calls. She is very frustrated.

Costumer service really sucks. I'm on The drive tru and she just ignore me there for 15 mins. She saw me already and continue to ignore me. Linh is the pharma tech there and didn't even say Pls wait were bussy right now. I decided to walked in since she just ignore me on drive tru to pick up my daughter's Medication. I went inside and there' s another car that she helped right away really!!! I asked her if she saw me, she ignore my question, we're bussy she said, did she apologize?! I didn't hear it, so for me no, so I keep talking I was in that car and you didn't even helped me. And she continue to ignore what I'm saying she knows I was there waiting. You need reorient your costumer service Linh or Linh pharma tech. You just wasted my 15 mins time. read more

I recently visited this location and had the worst customer experience by an associate named Carlos P. I had gone to pick up some pictures at this location and was informed as soon as I got there that the photo area was closed, this was around 9pm. Carlos informed me that we were closed and we could get our photos tomorrow. We had already received confirmation our order was ready but took Carlos's word and left. We had a feeling they were done because of the confirmation and wanted to double we're church. when we were on our way out we asked to confirm if they were done or not, and Carlos had the worst attitude I have experienced at this location. He went over to the photo printer and said "phone number" "phone number!" We have him our number and he said "oh, I guess someone did print it out" he then rolled his eyes and rang up the photos at the cash register. I could go on about other things he had done but I'll stop here. I would like Walgreens to reach out so I can elevate this concern to higher management. I would not like anyone else to go through this same experience. read more

Just a warn n I went to go get a pcr test for a concert on Friday went in on Wednesday still did not get results back n time for Friday go to another Walgreens my family members went to other Walgreens they got it back within 2 days. This place is the WORST. I normally drop my prescriptions off at CVS on Chapman but my relative accidentally dropped it off here by mistake while I was in surgery. Walgreens decided to slip me a generic form of my meds without informing us at drop-off or pick-up. (For the record, CVS always does the courtesy of informing me when they are subbing generic). By the time I realized, it was too late as the prescription had already been picked up. When I called to speak with the pharmacist regarding their policies she was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me. Not even sure why this location still remains open as it always been THE second rate pharmacy on E. Chapman. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your drug store needs. read more

I've been a customer of this Walgreens Pharmacy for about 10 yrs and have found some the staff to be very professional and who want to help. I've seen a lot of turnover with this pharmacy staff and It's sad the best ones don't seem to stick around that long. There currently is a young lady who goes above and beyond for her customers. Her personality is a breath of fresh air and she's someone who truly wants to help. I also see some who don't have good customer skills and seem not to want to be there. I rarely have any problem with getting my medication and if I do it's because it simply needs to be renewed. The pharmacy and the store is clean with everything neatly sitting on the shelves. Everything is easy to find and if I do need help with something, finding staff isn't an issue like at Home Depot. read more

Never go to this location they have really messy system and worst customer service even the manger. They told me I have to update my insurance but there was nothing wrong with my insurance after they send me 3 times back and forth they gave me my medication. read more

Why is this location even still in business?! This location is HORRIBLE!! My mom has a primary pharmacy within Walgreens that normally delivers her medications but when she has prescriptions that aren't electronically put in and need to be walked into the pharmacy we go here instead of driving to Fountain Valley, what a bad mistake this was! Their always understaffed and never have enough techs, I always only see 1 pharmacist, yes I know it is a smaller location but if this a busy location don't you think you need more help here?! My mom dropped off her prescription and they said "Oh no problem, it will be ready in 30 minutes." We came back 45 minutes later and it was NEVER FILLED! Their whack excuse was they did not have updated insurance information, ever heard of calling someone?!! We got to wait an extra 15-20 minutes so it could be processed and then to make things worse the pharmacy technician realizes that they don't have enough medication to fill the prescription but never told us and only gives us a partial amount which means we never had the chance to take the prescription else where since it is a C-5. Seriously?! Basic common sense isn't taught here!! I much rather have taken the rx somewhere else and not stuck making two trips to pick up the rest of the medication! DONT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!!!! As a medical professional it's disheartening to see the lack of attention being payed to something that deserves such detail! 4 times. 4! They have made mistakes with my 7 year old daughters meds! It's a compounding medication and needs refrigeration and I found them pulling it right off of the shelf! I questioned them about it and was told I needed to come back in 24 hours for another replacement. When I used the auto-refil, twice meds were never made on time for pick up. I have been made to wait for the meds to be made or told a compounding pharmacist wouldn't be in until the night shift which meant my daughter missing a dose of her medication. This is negligence. I question the practice and the quality of professionalism and standards here. Go ANYWHERE else!! read more

Horrible Experience every time I go there, yet I keep going back because of the location. The manager always seems like she has a chip on her shoulder, is rude, and obviously hates her job. I came here on a Friday to get my annual influenza shot (definitely recommend). It took 3 minutes to check in, waited 5 minutes to see the pharmacist and the shot took 1 minute. The shot was quick, painless and the pharmacist is so sweet. she talks to you in order to distract the shot, extremely important for a chicken like me. This Walgreens is small, pharmacy with drive through window. I especially like the fact that the staff KNOWS their customers' names and greets them with a friendly hello. Definitely something large pharmacies are lacking. The selection of this location is rather impressive - they have the essentials which is what's important. This location has plenty of parking, too. Definitely recommend, will return and appreciate the positive first visit today. read more

Dislocation definitely gets five stars for me! The people that work at the pharmacy at Walgreens or so kind and so nice. They always treat my daughter so nicely every time she comes in. My daughter is only seven years old and we tried to teach her to be a little more responsible so we allow her to watch the counter and get her medicine by herself. Of course we were standing close by but we try to give her the autonomy to start talking to people to make her feel more comfortable. And every time she talk to the staff at this pharmacy they are always so nice to her and they always treated like an adult which we definitely appreciate. They even gave her extra Band-Aids and any extra wrap that she may need every time she asked for and they don't have to do that because typically they charge for those items. I normally pick up prescriptions from rite aid across the street but they were out of stocked my medication so I had to come here to pick up. I won't make that mistake again...I sat and watched at least half a dozen people come in after I did and be on their way with their medications while I sat and waited for 20 minutes. I even made mention to the pharmacist that I had food sitting in my car that was getting cold and asked if I could just come back and she told me it would only be a few minutes. read more

Overall customer service is very good, very pleasant staff. Problem area is I have my prescriptions on automatic refill. Frequently if I send my husband in to pick up rx's or I drive thru they will provide only partial of the auto prescriptions. They see to always forget one or not notice that one is coming up due in a day or to and letting us know about it. Recently we had a automatic prescription refill denied due to time for a checkup. Walgreens nor our Dr. office called to inform us the prescription refill was denied and time for a check up. We went the weekend without the medication until able to get through to the office on Monday. Walgreens should have called to notify us the refill prescription was denied. read more

I went in about 6:30 PM on a Saturday. I found the pharmacist extremely helpful. There were no other customers in the store. This isn't the typical Walgreens. It really just does prescriptions. If you need anything else, there are larger stores around town that can better serve your needs. However for dropping off and picking up Rx, this has both a drop off and pickup window as well as a drive-thru. read more
