This afternoon I went to CVS to pick up a few prescriptions. I realized when I opened my purse that I left my drivers license in my gym bag from early morning. The employee assisting me explained that even though I had 10+ forms of identification with me she needed to scan the back of my drivers license to give me my meds. Another employee working in close proximity to her came over and asked if I know my drivers license number. I do and I gave it to her. I was able to pick up my prescriptions at that time. The employee's name is Noah. I so appreciated his help in saving me a trip of leaving and returning when there was another solution. My medical insurance recently changed from Walgreens to CVS. Shout out to Noah offering his unsolicited help. CVS you have an exemplary employee to be proud of representing your company. He deserves recognition. I'm certain I'm not the only one Noah has helped. It's who he is. read more

I went here today to get my vaccine shots for TDap and Hepatitis A and B combos. This place is just so nice and organized. The Target in this place is so comforting and calming as someone with autism. This pharmacist lady who is African American is so sweet and gentle with me. She reminds me of a woman I saw on tv years ago, but I don't know who it could be? She asked me if I was ok after going to the restroom before getting the vaccine shots. I told her that I had matcha on the way here and likely had a bathroom emergency due to the stress and anxiety I was dealing with. This place is so comforting to be in. read more

It's not my favorite CVS location. The reviews on Yelp do really speak volumes about this location. It is a bit run down looking, and dirty inside. Things are thrown on shelves and not organized. The store just appeared to not be in order like it should. This isn't my normal location. First time coming to this one. I was not impressed at all. I probably wouldn't come back. I bought some baby wipes, a Fiji water, an Aquafina water, and my medications. That took long enough to get those things and get out. I can't imagine how long it would take if I needed more items. The customer service is not great. The employees appear to hate their jobs or hate people. I couldn't tell which it was. I get that working as a cashier at CVS probably isn't that exciting, but at least pretend? Mask like the rest of us do when we have bad days. read more

Love this store! I come here for all of my toiletry & vitamin/medicine needs etc. They usually always have what I come in for...and then some! I love checking out their seasonal aisle. Always super cute stuff there. There are gift cards to many stores/food places etc available for purchase as well. I also like using their photo printing service. I use their app, upload my pictures, and have them ready to pickup in store within 2 hours. Always very good quality. I recommend downloading their app. Delivery is also an option through the app. You can also get your passport photo taken here as well. read more

Where is pharmacy ever!!!!! I have monthly prescriptions that I've been getting for the last five years. They can't get that medication on the same day every month. They spread it out to different days causing me to go back to the pharmacy multiple times I leave a message for the pharmacy to call back they never call back. If I could I give a zero 0 This store is the worst , specially one employee he is an Asian guy I couldn't get his name , because he didn't have a name tag and neither the receipt had his name, but he us very rude inpatient his attitude is very bad , I went to return an item the receipt had the barcode to scan I cut the rest of it because it was a long list just coupons He asked me for the rest of the receipt I told him that was the receipt he say no this is not and if you don't have it cannot return anything, I say why if this is the receipt can you see the price is there the barcode on the receipt to scan , he continued saying no because I don't know how much you paid I say what ? The receipt say the price and that's what I said, then he called someone else to help him, then suddenly he started doing the transaction for the return item, then he tell the other person, he didn't needed the help anymore, he knew that he could do it but he was just giving me a hard time maybe he retracted himself because he saw my card was a debit card from social security benefits , and this guy is always very rude bad attitude . all the time I have been there . People that doesn't have any patience and have bad attitude and don't treat the customers right with respect should not be working in a public place , I will find out his name to report this issue with the manager, And I will visit another location for my purposes read more

Be aware when you are calling/ going to this pharmacy. It seems the management changed and previous manager was very responsive to calls and customer service. Recently, They never answer their phone. If they answer their phone which is rare it will be on hold forever. After 5pm, no one answers the phone...It's interesting that when im walking to this pharmacy, its obvious that they have many employees working inside the pharmacy and rarely you see them on the phone. Two people on pick up or drive thru when there is no customer in line. Super unorganized! They always are fighting to take their breaks to the pharmacist. read more

PHARMACIST, to begin with was rude, I'm 82 and can not hear very well, instead of removing his mask or getting someone to explain my medication he ripped open my pkg. and gave me the literature to read. I was supposed to pick up Four medications, I was diagnosed with the beginnings of pneumonia and I only received three. Pharmacist said they had not called it in, they had. Must have mislaid it, picked it up next morning with the same date as the others. Also every time I go I have to say my name and birthdate at least twice, sometimes three times. Whole place needs to be cleaned thoroughly, and the CVS Manager needs to train his people properly. I have been with AETNA over a year now and they have what's called OTC health solutions. Every time I tried to use it, l was told I need a special card. Not true, a Rep. from Aetna had to call the manager and tell him how OTC works. Now when I go they still have to find the manager because the people including the pharmacy staff know nothing about this procedure. I won't be returning to that store. read more

I go with my sister to pick up her medication all the time and some of the staff is so inpatient and rude. It makes me so sad when I see spanish speakers trying to get their medication and the staff gets so annoyed by it. Always rushing guests and one older lady with glasses that was working the drive thru said how she "didn't have the patience" to deal with a spanish speaking lady because she didn't want to translate. The pharmacists don't know how to do their jobs and should all be fired how dare they mess with another persons prescriptions and not fill them I've been without my medication for a week now all cause of the pharmacists that work at this location. WORST CVS YOU CAN GO TO. Understaffed, ghetto & the employees (especially the supervisor) is extremely rude. Don't bother calling, they will keep you on hold for 5-10 minutes and then hang up on you. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't EVER bother ordering photos from them. They will NOT be ready in time. But instead of turning off the ability to print from their photo center, they will gladly take your money and then screw you over if you are on a time crunch & you stupidly trusted your photos would be ready at the time they said they would be. Another terrible experience! The lines are always long and this morning I went to pick up my prescription and they wouldn't let me take it until I talked to the pharmacist about a possible interaction. The pharmacist was busy giving shots with two of us waiting for the lone pharmacist. I waited as long as I could until I had to leave to fet to a meeting. The morning clerk was very apologetic. Different story in the afternoon when I came back in a very long line. A different clerk handed me the prescriptions with no mention of a need for a consultation. I told him what I was told this morning I asked and he seemed annoyed and said I could wait over there for a pharmacist if I wanted to. How could a system prevent on clerk from releasing it and the other to just handing it over? I'm tired of wasting my time and will be looking for another pharmacy! read more

The store is ok, usually stocked fine, pharmacy is usually good, once you're inside, it's ok. But the GROUNDS are APPALLING. They used to keep this property up better, and now it often attracts loiterers. I'm not sure if it's the property management or CVS, but someone should do a better job here. Parking lot is consistently full of trash, weeds growing in flower beds, rarely if ever trim bushes, plants look like they're practically dead. I live in the neighborhood and go there, but I wish they'd keep it up better. Come on people, have some pride of ownership! I have had so many problems with my local CVS, not only for myself but for both of my elderly parents. The pharmacy is over worked and lazy. I have switched most of my prescriptions to Walgreens, as they are helpful and take care of me as a human and a patient. The CVS on 4040 e Chapman in orange has failed to check a prescription for it being correct, failed to give a prescription because it is "not covered" when it was just not prescribed correctly for the coverage, been extremely rude to not only myself, but your own customer service on the line with new. I have tried complaining, but nobody listens. It literally has brought my elderly mother to throwing up post surgery, unnecessarily and have caused me to switch to other pharmacies because they weren't willing to order something or bring in from another location. This is very disappointing. I would suggest any other pharmacy!!! Don't go here! read more

I've been sick since March 2022 and basically needed stronger antibiotics. I felt embarrassed to demand stronger medication but I'm very sick. The pharmacist made several phone calls and came through for me! I am so grateful (and hopeful to kick whatever is going on) for their help. Went to get my kid passport photo taken. There was no one at the photo center, so we were waiting to ask the cashier, who was the only cashier at the moment and she was helping a customer. My kid for a tic tac candies from my purse and I was starting playing with the lid of it. The lady asked if we were the one making noises. I said yes and she responded if you didn't make the noises; I didn't even know you guys are there. Then she asked what are u guys doing there. I told her we would like to get some passport photo done and she said let me call someone ask and told us to wait at the white screen. While we were walking there, she said next time you need to wait in line. I was like not like I didn't want to wait in line. But the photo/printing center is separated from the cashier and they also have a credit/debit machine to ring customers up. We got the photo taken and the girl said it will be 4-5 min wait. So we went to walk around at the store and started heading back to see if the photo was ready. I saw the girl was still working on it. So we just waited at the front and the same lady came to us again and said we waited to wait in line. I was like the photo was not even ready. We got to another cashier and he asked what he can help. I told him we got some passport photo done. He at first thought we needed some pictures to be taken. I explained to him no we got it done just waiting for them. So the girl walked to him and told all of us not ready yet sorry a few more minutes. Anyway we got the photos at the end! But the way the lady treated us and instructed us were very poorly. There was no clear instruction of what we should have done. We got our passport photo taken there before and usually we just waited at the photo station, not the main cashier line. read more

This is the pharmacy I use for my child and myself. The pharmacist are so kind and helpful. They act like real people not robots. My baby was sick and I was able to go in and get help on how to make him feel better. They guide you. The parking lot is super spacious. If you're picking up a prescription you can use the drive thru window. read more

Katherine Le, the pharmacy manager, really knows how to be RUDE. In stead of understanding and fixing their OWN problem, she asked us to leave and slammed the drive-through window, acting like the customer was doing something wrong. Such an undereducated and incapable person she is. I waited for my Covid test for an hour and did everything they told me in the morning, but got no test. I told them I'll be back at 2, and they said then you are late to your appt. That is irritating cause I've been waited for almost an hour! We finally reached an agreement that I can come back at 2 and I specifically made sure that the test would be available for me by then. Guess what, it was still not available when I visited again, and no one tried to solve the problem. They not only provided NO solutions and NO alternatives, but also were extremely rude. Then Katherine Le came, kept asking if I cancelled my previous appt. I told her over and over again that I can show her my texts from CVS, also questioned them didn't fix their problem for the past 2 hours, even though they promised. My husband ordered his pain killers, last refill, this morning on the automated system over the phone and it gave him the time for pick up today. Mind you, months ago, this particular CVS was weird about the number of pills of the same prescription and their explanation never made sense to me, but we just chalked it up to NEW RULES. My husband definitely felt shorted, though. I typically pick up his meds with mine and today, I was early four minutes in the drive thru for the pick up of this same prescription and the nice gentleman told me to come in to find out why it isn't ready yet or even showing. One of the women proceeds to tell me it doesn't exist, won't acknowledge that the call was placed for a refill nor that my husband has 1 refill left and told me the doctor needs to be notified to approve any future refills. She starts lecturing me about schedule one as if I don't already know this and in a very loud voice. We went back and forth with the same ridiculous and embarrassing conversation before she finally said she would fill it. Well, yeah, because he's owed the prescription! I got it and left. Upon thinking about this exchange even more, something doesn't smell right. If he had 1 prescription left and they refuse to give it to me and he ordered the refill and that's all done, where does this prescription go? I will need to call somebody and have this looked into. Something isn't right at that pharmacy and I wanted to share this info here for anyone who might have dealt in the past or future with this same issue. Thank you for reading. read more

It's nice to know that you're buying a product knowing it will have all that is needed to dye your hair. That's twice now that I have had this problem TWICE!!! From now on I will NEVER return to a cvs especially for hair dye. It seems as if NOBODY cares that people are stealing from here. Where do I start? I've been going to this pharmacy for over 10 years, nothing but issues. They miscount pills, never have my medication in stock although I've been using the same medication for years, never notify the customer when the out-of -stock prescription arrives, hold times of 20 mins or more, quick to hang up on you after you've held forever. There is quite a few pharmacist with horrible attitudes at this location, you would think you joined this medical profession because you truly care about helping sick people but I don't get that feeling when I deal with them. The pharmacist that was resistant to give her name is Thuy, she has a brash attitude over the phone. I'm giving 2 stars only because they have a drive-thru and the pharmacy tech was at least polite. I came here to fill 2 prescriptions that I get filled monthly at the CVS on Katella. Apparently this location is out of stock on both of these extremely common medications. According to the pharmacist there is one person who is responsible for placing orders to keep them in stock and she is not in today. "She will order them sometime this week." I came to this location specifically to save time because I am busy today and it is closest to my house. So rather than driving around to other CVS locations and possibly wasting my time, I asked if they could tell me which nearby CVS locations have my prescriptions in stock. I was told "unfortunately we can't do that." It's absurd to me that they would wait until they are completely out of stock on 2 very common generic drugs before placing an order and then decline to assist as customer who has been inconvenienced by their incompetence. Do not waste your time at CVS. CVS does not honor GoodRX discounts for Doctor prescribed controlled meds! I need these meds for my many migraines. In addition, the staff here is very rude and they hang up on you often. When I asked why they don't honor GoodRX discounts, they said my pain med was not necessary. Can you believe it? But my doctor obviously thinks it is necessary. Kathryn the manager is not helpful either. Go to a different pharmacy that does not discriminate against certain VITAL pain meds. CVS is, bar far, the worst pharmacy EVER. Lazy employees that wouldn't even call my insurance for approval for a med they already approved. They told me my insurance only allows a 7 day supply. Lies! I got the same prescription filled at this exact location a month ago for 90 pills and it was approved by insurance. I was going to pay privately with the GoodRx app but they don't accept that and they have jacked up prices for everything including prescription meds. Do not recommend, don't go. Surprise this pharmacy get such low ratings.. usually I only post when I had bad experiences but this time I am posting as I really find the pharmacists going above and beyond. I recently have some skin conditions n have to pick up my prescriptions a few times and each time, I would get a call very soon after my doctor visit to tell me the prescription are ready. Today I have a prescription refill I neglected to get previously that they rushed for me as I had to go outta town. After my payment and as they explain to me how to apply the cream, they took extra effort to find out that I can get a bigger size for the same price. They didn't mind refunding me the sales and refill me for a bigger size to help me save more. I have to commend the whole team work hard, fast and super helpful.
