CVS is all over Manhattan. No matter where you are you can pick up a prescription and use rewards. This location isn't far from the center where I visit my medical team. Since I don't use this location regularly I'm giving them three stars. I can take it or leave it. read more

this location is shady. when they cancel your purchase (either for online orders or at self-check out), they don't return your rewards to your card. prices here are also higher than the cvs at 53rd & lexington. i recently stopped by to see if my order was cancelled because they were really out of stock, and saw the 1 item sitting in the case. read more

Medium sized CVS located on 2nd Avenue, masks required and they have some wipes up front for you to use if you want. Inside, they have sanitizer, some gloves, some cleaning solutions and wipes oh, and they have bags of ice. However they don't actually have the Arizona green tea that I wanted, so I guess that's been pretty popular of late. They did have some hand soap although most of the cleaning and soap was out of stock. read more

I was minding my business and trying to check out and I walked to a cashier. This lady w long braids and glasses was talking to a guy there behind the cashier in a non cvs uniform and said out loud to him "idk why people just stand there and smile and not saying anything". Excuse me?! And what in the ghetto is this. Its ur job to say hi and be nice and check people out. But if i return the same nastiness im wrong right. No need to show how much u hate ur job at only 10am. You just started your shift. Relax. Who wants to come to an establishment with such nasty workers. Just like the other reviews.. This is one of my local CVS stores and overall its like any other CVS. I usually use the self check out so I'm able to quickly go in and out. They carry all the usual things. They are a little slow when requesting customer service especially since a bunch of things, like even the ice cream, has locks on the freezer but overall not bad and the person was nice to me. read more

The pharmacy denied my prescription refill after my dr moved it from another pharmacy, I needed to call to fix the problem. I called the pharmacy 10 different times over 4 hours, waiting to be helped for 20+ minutes. I could hear the pharmacy staff pick up the receiver and put it back down to hang up and end my call. Twice someone picked up the phone, only to say 'CVS Pharmacy, please hold' and immediately hang up, not placing me on hold. In order to refill my prescription, I had to call corporate, who couldn't even get a hold of them either! We ended up moving the prescription to another pharmacy. read more

I have neutral experiences with this CVS location but this review is for the front / greet guy on Saturday 4/8/2023 at 7pm. I came in to pick up a bag of flour and was about to check out. On my way to the self-check out I decided to get a candy but couldn't make up my mind which one to get. It looked like a slow evening and no one was behind me, so I took my time picking. While I was looking at candies, the greeter man for no particular reason came to ask me "are you ready (to check out)?" To that I replied, "not yet". I spent about 5 minutes picking the candy, then did self checkout with the candy and bag of flour. While I was leaving, I heard the greeter complaining aloud (maybe to his headphone) "there was a lady standing here for half an hour and all she got was a candy" - while I was still in the front of the store. This man had one job to be welcoming and friendly to the shoppers, but I guess he was too bored with himself on a slow evening, so he needed to pick up some drama. I walked out of the store pretending not hearing anything. I do not understand how this CVS hires their staff. read more

The Pharmacy is a disaster. Pharmacist and staff are useless, condescending, nasty, and don't care when they make errors. Lots of excuses with neither concern nor actions. Go anywhere else. read more

This is a decent CVS that has most products I want to purchase in stock. The only negatives I can think of are: they often don't have paper bags (bring a bag and don't be like me and pick up a ton of products and have nothing to put them in lol or like I am very surprised cvs doesn't sell reusable bags - corporate, start selling reusable bags please!), and there is a front store supervisor (Hispanic/latino male in his 30s, heavy, bald) that is aggressive and off putting because of his aggression. Pharmacy is awful and has very rude customer service. On hold forever to get a straight answer and they mess up regularly. Sadly I will need to walk further to the one on 53/Lex, but it's 24hr and they are much more professional - never mess anything up read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Went here for a tdap vaccine, called in advance was told it was there and when I arrived the girl at register told me it hadn't arrived. She doesn't know how to use their computers. It was there. Then I had a few items to ring up and wasn't allowed until they were ready with my vaccine prescription which I was now told would still be at least 10 minutes. The guy comes out and says he's ready so I ask if they want to ring me up first and they didn't comprehend the question and after explaining myself further they then asked me the exact question in my same words. Fine they're not the brightest bulbs. Vaccine time- guy coming out of back gets himself ready then proceeds to touch the door with his gloves while carrying my vaccine and has my bandaid partially stuck to himself. Not hygienic. I asked him to change gloves and told him no bandaid and I heard him complaining about it behind the door. Also they administer everything in a chair in the open, no privacy. Don't go here. Duane reade has a much better standard of practice and you get privacy. read more

The absolute worst. Pharmacy never answers phone. Won't use them again. Very very poor customer service for someone I'll.

Do not use their pharmacy. My partner and I tried on separate cell phones for one hour each to get through, and assumed that because we heard a recording that we were in line for service once a prior person was helped. No such thing. When I finally went over in person, the pharmacist told me that she was "too busy" to pick up the phone. Unfortunately, pharmacy customers may be too sick to go in person. A pharmacy with no phone service ought to shut their doors. read more

The pharmacy was Very bad service unfortunately. They don't seem to be efficient with looking up your health insurance. They seemed to be confused as to ringing up items not in the pharmacy. Three people got involved with different information. They need better training with computer to look up insurance. The young lady finally helped me with finding better coverage for medications because it was too expensive. read more

I absolutely love CVS over other pharmacies and was happy to see they opened one a block away from my office. If you are a member you always get deals and it is never super crowded like other pharmacies because of its location. Great place to shop and they always have good healthy snacks. read more

I was waiting in line when another customer cut the line to use the self service, when I brought this to staffs attention I was told I was wrong. The women woking the line continued to insist she was right when clearly myself and other customers seen what happened. I will no longer go to that CVS! read more

Had the strangest conversation today with the prescription department. After I got an automated phone call from them, I chose to talk to a live representative. The man who got on the phone not only had a feedback loop interrupted and seemed to be responding with a 30 second delay to what had been said ; he was in his own world, did not hear what he was being told, went on with his monologue, could not be redirected to the customer's needs, seemed to know better why the customer was calling, was weridly tenacious, oppositional, emotional and rude. He eventually just hung up when I asked him what his name was. Not sure what it was, but clearly should not be happening in a normal conversation in genera;, forget about the pharmacy customer service. read more

this cvs finally opened after the food emporium closed down and it only took a year after the usual delayed politics and community board bullsh#t. this smaller then most cvs store is well stocked and neatly organized with workers that actually are helpful when needed . a pharmacy in back that's open till 10 pm while the rest of the store is 24/7 . the checkout area is set up orderly so while waiting in line the chance of some annoying voice yelling you gotta get on line is zero . you have 2 self service machines in the front that seems to work just fine. glad that we finally have a cvs in the hood , it's a well needed addition to the area . read more
