It is accessible via MTA NYC Transit of A train at 42nd Street Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station, located on Eighth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. Store and photo department operates 24/7. The pharmacy close at 6:00 pm. It is gargantuan size and very organized layout, but contains minimal inventory stock. Their hair products are also minimal as I was browsing for women's rhinestone hair clips. I was seeking women's multi vitamin "one a day" but lack in brand selection. The female sales associate was rather callous "if you order online there are more options" excuse me, I am physically here now attempting to obtain vitamins! With that dismissive wayward behavior this female associate abruptly walked away from me exactly like COVID-19 pandemic. Why do I need to order online when I am physically here standing in front of you? I am a patron and a loyal long-time customer of CVS corporation with a loyalty rewards card. My intent for this visit is to obtain multi vitamins and to use my 25% coupon received in the mail. I have always receive their promotional marketing materials via U.S. mail for coupons. read more

I am a regular customer here and the rest of the staff is usually wonderful, but I had an awful experience with a pharmacist named Peter. He refused to accept my original, unexpired passport as a legal ID, shouting at me in front of other customers. For reference, a valid government-issued passport--regardless of nationality--is a legally recognized form of identification. Peter was incredibly rude, aggressive, and clearly lacks basic customer service training and knowledge of ID policies. Management needs to address his behavior immediately. read more

My daughter caught a flu of some kind traveling. The lady who I will describe as short, black, and miserable was the nastiest medical personnel I've ever met in my 56 years of life. She was verbally abusive with every customer she encountered. Do better CVS!!!!!! read more

I was today years old when I found out New York charges you $.05 for purchasing drinks in plastic bottles they call it a bottle deposit fee. In the area for Christmas so I patronized this location about three or four times throughout my stay. Consistently busy for the area and very hard for the employees to keep the shelves stocked. Every month another problem. they deleted rather than filled one of my rx. didn't tell me. called to see if order was ready & found out the mess of the month. they said they called my dr for new prescription to replace the one they deleted.Dr said they never called, so she called them. received a txt msg that the medication was out of stock. every month is a new drama. scary incompetent staff. the manager who never seems to be available needs to train employees or get fired. seriously read more

I ordered photo prints to pick up from the 1619 Broadway, New York, NY location on 6 January 2025. My order number was 18927402321086. I received an email on 7 January 2025 that they were ready to pick up. When I stopped at this CVS on 9 January 2025 at 12:05 AM, I was told that they could not find the order. They asked me for my name to re-print them and then began re-printing the order of someone named Richard Barbera. When I explained that that was not me they told me to just re-send the order. I wasted a great deal of time here and for all I know they have my personal identifiable information as well as personal photographs that they never allowed me to pick up. I would not recommend this location unless you need to pick up a soda on the go. read more

This location, on 49th and Broadway, seem to be overly focused on shoplifters (The manager was very vocal about this in an impromtu meeting on the floor, which I found unusual), with zero competency and regard to customer service. I tried to use a coupon on a simple tube of toothpaste this morning, which cost me at least seven minutes of lost prep time before work, only to find out from the cashier(Fayez) that I had to buy a set and very unclear amount of items before qualifying for the discount, or at least I understood his vague explanation as the case. I felt my time wasted, so I walked away as Fayez scoffed openly at my decision to keep my money. The only professional worker was the young lady on the second floor who helped me retrieve the toothpaste with her key. She's the one star in this review. read more

This place is hit or miss.I work down the block from here. If you go during the day the workers are extremely helpful and if you need help they definitely service you right away.At night time is when you have alot of kids working the store who treat the store as their at a party. No one is hardly present to assist you and don't like the fact they keep cabinets locked up and you gotta wait a long time for them to come to open up to give you what you need.I go to any CVS out of New York you just pick up and grab what you want to buy,but then again NY is hugely known for shoplifters especially this location around the Times Square area.But given that this is such a busy and high profile area especially during the late hours when it's the most congested they should be more attentive to their customers. read more

Went to pick up medication from pharmacy and when I got home I realized they gave me the wrong medicine so I called and got reprimanded by the pharmacist that I didn't check before I left cvs, which I should've done. But can't they take SOME responsibility for giving me the wrong meds? She told me I either had to pay out of pocket bc insurance won't cover it until next month or suck it up and take the wrong medication. Very unprofessional for a pharmacist and very unprofessional as a general worker. Will not return to this cvs again. read more

I called the store and some associate named Maleek answered the phone. I asked what time they were open for customers since I know the 24hrs is closed due to COVID. He seemed annoyed, I noticed attitude the moment he answered. I guess he couldn't hear me so he asked me to speak louder and I repeated myself, and he rudely and abruptly said "No, were not open!" and then hung up the phone on me. I don't think that's good customer service. I understand working overnight shifts can be difficult especially in lieu what's going on, but it's no way to treat a customer. You're the only one that's near me and I don't have access to anything so I'm hoping you'll be open at 5 or maybe 6am, although with this horrible experience I'm not sure I want to come here. I'll probably just go to a nearby Duane Reade. Someone's gotta talk to that guy. read more
