Filthy dirty sidewalk outside from the garbage bags that sit there and leak. Store has never attempted to scrub the sidewalk. Makes for an very unappealing entrance. If they don't clean OUTside, maybe the same laziness goes on INside, too. Wouldn't want to eat from there. read more

many of these types of stores are opening up especially on the upper east side and its ok cause sometimes you want a soda, beer, chips, etc , at 3am. got home late and wanted a cold soda and some junk snacks before heading home.. the name describes the place exactly , quick stop and quick exit in a few minutes, lets give 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more

At quick glance, it's easy for 710 Quick Stop to blend in with the other convenience stores lining Second Ave., but what sets them apart is their diverse beer selection along the back wall! Although they have plenty of basic grocery items, there is no deli counter here, and they're lacking in prepared/ready-made foods. If you're looking for some unique brews, however, at (somewhat) reasonable prices, 710 Quick Stop is worth a visit. read more

I regret not reading Yelp reviews before adventuring out to find a liquor store near our hotel. We just paid $15 for a 6 pack of run of the mill Angry Orchard (ouch!). Like other reviewers have stated, there are no posted prices. It was only when we left and my husband looked at his receipt that we realized he signed for $15 - literally $15.00 even. Textbook example of a horrible business practice and makes you question the integrity of the gentleman behind the register! read more

AMAZING beer selection. One of the best I have seen in Manhattan. They have amazing, rare brews from all over the world. I stepped into this place on a lark, and was rewarded with a 4-pack of Gulden Draak, one of the toughest Belgian beers around. I whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for something excellent to drink. read more

They have a decent selection of beer but none of the prices are marked and some are absurdly high. And although the beer is in coolers they don't keep it cold. So it's the worst of both worlds--warm beer and wasted energy. read more

Althought the beer seletion is good, they change the prices as they see fit. Last night I purchased a Founders Backwoods Bastard for $4.50, then tonight, with a completely different sales clerk l, it was $4.00. I have been here a few times and each time it looks like they are pulling the pricesnfrom thin air. Great beer selection but beware! read more

There's no way we'd consume anywhere near 500 of those pills by their expiration date, so I wanted to exchange them for bottles that have a more reasonable expiration. Today I had to be just one block from this store for a medical appointment, and fortunately there were (only) two bottles available - and their expiration date was *much* more generous. I went to the cashier's counter, and the cashier explained that she needed to have a supervisor handle the exchange (and I'd brought my receipt with me). The shift supervisor was inexplicably *nasty*, and from the very beginning. Meanwhile; she told me she couldn't do an "even exchange" because the flavor was different than the ones I'd purchased (?!) - so she said I'd have to return the ones I'd bought and then purchase the other ones. I told her that I'd used a discount coupon when making the purchase, whereas a "new" purchase would *not* provide the discount. She continued being nasty and suddenly disappeared, and then she *finally* reappeared many minutes later. At that point she told me she'd confirmed with the store manager what she'd told me - but she should have had the courtesy to at least tell me why she was suddenly leaving, and her nastiness was totally inexcusable. Now I'm going to contact the CVS Customer Service Department, but I shouldn't have to waste so much time re: this situation - and most importantly, CVS shouldn't have an employee who's so nasty. (The only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one is because a very pleasant employee helped me find the location of the pills).

There's a guy who is always there working nights. He likes to joke around like he knows you and tells stories about how he has sex with his wife. There are a bunch of other grocery/Delis around there, two across the street, one small one on the same side and a Gristedes up the street on 40th where you can get craft beers and not be subjected to that stupidity. I usually go to the one on the other side right near 39th on the other side. read more

Sure we looked like bedraggled tourists but both of us took wine tastings classes and traveled in France wine tasting down the Cote D'Or and Cotes de Beaune Neither time did the man with the balding hair help. His African-American cashier was cordial enough asking if we had an account. We bought a white and a red and a sparkling. The second time I wanted to see if service was a one-off. It wasn't. I picked up a red. The people at 54th Street wine- actually on 55th Street were so much more friendly.

Wish I could give ZERO STARS! The owners are rude and irresponsible!!…read more They allowed a customer to sit in their outdoor cafe with 2 dogs and one of them bit my husband who was sitting at the next table. He asked the bar owner for the dog owners name (dog owner wouldn't exchange information) so that Animal Control for NYC and the DOH could have the dog quarantined at home for 10 days. The owners of City Swiggers refused to comply and so my husband needed to go for rabies shots as recommended by the DOH My husband likes the beer but be warned that they allowed a dog with a history of biting and their answer was to ban my husband from the store. We just wanted to avoid the rabies shots. Thanks to Alan and Pam the owners he had to go to the ER and get the rabies series This is how they treat a long time customer!! If you're wondering, my husband likes the beer selection even though it's way overpriced! Some of the same beer at Fairway is cheaper. He used to like hanging out there but the owner's response when asked for help with the dog owner was beyond inappropriate!!
