This review is for the pharmacy only. I live around the corner and they've consistently messed up my prescription for the last few months since I've switched to them. I keep getting robo-calls saying my medication is ready, going in to wait in the abnormally slow line, and then being told they can't find me/can't find my prescription/don't have the medication in stock. It takes about two visits spaced a day apart each month to pick up my scripts, which gets annoying and time-consuming. I've switched to the online pharmacy NuRX for my birth control, which has worked really well, and I'm on the look-out for a new local pharmacy for the remaining script I use CVS to fill. read more

My prescription was sent 2:30 PM yesterday but when I got there 6:20 I was told that there was none. After 5 min searching in computer the elder lady said ok she found it. It was done around 7:00. I asked about another prescription. While I was getting a coupon which took me 5 second the lady told me to wait so that she could serve the next one. It was now 7:10. I said it would take me k my 5 second and I need to leave as I have two kids in the car. The elder lady Mynmar (spelling may not be correct) refused to serve me. So it is about 50 min in the store for a prescription that should have been done between 2:30 and 6:00. And the lady refused to wait for 5 sec for me to finish what I need and kept me waiting while I was protesting for being forced to give up my turn to the next man in line. read more

Wow I wish I saw some of the complaint much earlier. I just had very similar experience. I made an appointment with MinuteClinic. I came on time but had to wait. While I was waiting at one of the chair outside the clinic, an asian old woman with white hair rudely "ordered" me to move my chair back. I didnt wanna argue with her but expressed my disgust to her attitude. Not only I didn't move her precious chair, it's so rude to blame and get upset with random customers like that. I haven't been to this store maybe a year or so. I glared at her and she still tried to expresse some arrogant attitudes toward me. Then the minuteclinic nurse came out. Out of my surprise, she told me to go to sunnyvale location because she ran out of the test I wanted, and that she wouldnt know when it would be available, and she apologized that someone didnt update the availability online. She sounds sincerely. But I felt like someone should have called me ahead!!! Now that I read about others' reviews, I seriously think that something is not good about the management and employees's training here. So many many ones with rude, terrible and arrogant attitudes. They Did It Again My son and I will be traveling and we had the same perscription for anti-malaria meds. When I got them home I noticed that his pills weren't the same as mine although they had the same pill description on the container. I took them back. Yep, they had given him the wrong pill. How do you fill two identical perscriptions at the same time and give one person different pills? Beyond incompetent. I'm glad that I didn't discover their mistake once we were in the rain forest. read more

Store is fine but pharmacy is really bad. It's always understaffed and I don't understand why they don't properly staff it. Expect to wait a long time. The pharmacists are frustrated too, because all day they hear "I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes and I've been waiting an hour". I've stopped getting my prescriptions there. read more

Horrible service. Whoever the woman working today on May 19 at 9pm who answered my call 4 X and purposely put me on hold is so rude. If you can't understand my question you can just ask nicely for me to repeat. All I wanted to know was how long it could take for me to get film developed since the company has to send it out. I know she purposely put me on hold because of her tone of voice. Customer service should be taught and taught til the employees learn how to provide it. I normally fill my prescriptions at Safeway, but I had to go here when one was not available. My medication insurance is literally through CVS/Caremark, but the pharmacy was unable to look up my insurance information. I have never had a problem with Safeway looking up my insurance information! And my insurance is CVS/Caremark!! The pharmacy cashier was pretty apathetic and made no effort to be helpful. read more

I like this location because it is fairly large and inventory is well stocked. Every time I've been looking for a sale item of the week, all other CVS locations will always be out or simply "do not carry it". Why advertise if you don't carry it?? I've never had trouble at this location and am always in and out very quickly. This location is open 24 hours which makes shopping really convenient when times are busy. read more

I've been to this location approximately a half dozen times. The store is decently organized and seems to always have the product stocked that I'm looking for.The wait at the register seems to take longer than it should, due to under staffing. First of all, the store is really dirty. Someone please at least clean the light fixtures above the pharmacy. It does not elicit confidence to go get your medications filled in a dirty environment. Secondly they never have the prescriptions filled when they say they will be filled. Just today I had a prescription called in before 10 AM in the morning. When I phoned the pharmacy it was supposed to be ready by 1:15. When I went in at 1 o'clock I was told the pharmacist is out to lunch and the prescription won't be ready until at least 2 PM. If you have to go to this Store, make sure that their OTC medications are not expired. For the second time I wanted to buy probiotics and as always I check the Expiration date. I very rarely give one star reviews. I've been with this pharmacy for 2.5 years after switching over from the excellent service at CVS Menlo Park Sharon Heights. I use this pharmacy for regular pickups of fairly standard monthly prescriptions and while I'm really tolerant I have reached the moment in time where I'm looking for an alternative. Almost every time I pick up my medications there is something wrong. This time it was that I ordered my medication on Saturday Andy only got it filled on Friday. When I got to the pharmacy the line was very long and after this substantial wait it turned out my medication couldn't be found. Three people looked for it everywhere while the rest of the line had to wait. After that they had to fill a new one for me, which luckily only took a few minutes. While I wish the staff all the best, this isn't working for me - I missed an appointment with a client today and my business is at stake. I need more reliable service and will turn to mail order. Terrible experience at the pharmacy. Had to go back multiple times to pick up prescriptions. Staff is rude. When you call they put you on hold and never come back to help you. When you pick up your meds you can hear the phone ringing over and over while you're waiting in a long line. read more

Great Customer Service. I've been shopping here since it was Longs. The employees and managers bend over backwards to help customers find the products they need. I want to applaud the Pharmacy Staff who has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure that I have my medications on time. (For Years!) The Pharmacy Staff are the individuals who have to take the brunt of the abuse from rude customers, and continue to smile through it. So, I just want all of you rude or demanding customers (including myself) to realize that the Pharmacy Staff doesn't set the store policies. They don't locked down the pharmacy database system at 5:00 PM, so STOP blaming them. If you really need your prescription filled by 5:00 PM on Saturday or Sunday, don't show up at 5:10 PM. Pick your prescription up earlier, the world does not revolve around you, or me. The Pharmacist and their team have been working hard all day. They are done at 5 PM and have to close out their inventory. So, let's treat them with the professional courtesy which they deserve, or we won't have any Pharmacy Staff left to help us get our meds, it will all be mail order. We know how that goes. There's no option for zero star.... Customer service is zero star. We waited 1 hour for a flu shot. We signed in, and 2 persons ahead so it should have been 30 minutes maximum. but it was more than one hour. D N, the nurse took so long...We went there because it's almost the only place for a little one to get a flu shot... But we will find another solution next year and we'll go back to walgreens. Pharmacy notes: I'm going to miss this store, but I keep getting re-enrolled in their ReadyFill automatic prescription refill service without my knowledge, after asking (3 or 4 times, I've lost count) to be un-enrolled. I've heard that it's a corporate goal to have at least a certain percentage of the Rx customers at each store enrolled and that may be why this keeps happening. I'm transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens. Here's an excerpt from a story about Ready Fill from the corporate web site (http://info.cvscaremark.com/): There are lots of reasons consumers say they do not take their medications, but being busy or simply forgetting top the list. I'm fairly new to this area and went in today to shop for quite a few items. Left immediately as there was not one single shopping basket available, nor any visible in the parking lot. The clerk even checked quickly and said it's a big problem there. I mentioned it to a neighbor who said that she had had the same experience during the week - ended up buying only what she had in her hands as she could not carry all the items on her list. I live right by this CVS and REALLY want to go there for prescriptions and photo printing. Unfortunately, this CVS has the slowest service ever. I don't know what the issue is, but the photo printing is always a confusing mess. Every time I go to pick something up, they look around the counter, in the counter, rifle through papers, and can't ever seem to find my photos within the first five minutes of looking. I have had to go home to reorder three times because my order was missing! Also, the register is always strangely slow. There is not fast run in to pick up shampoo here. Sometimes it seems like the whole staff has been sampling the Benadryl because they are all so slow and groggy. I've never experienced anything like it before. I know that they have a reputation because two of my neighbors say they won't go there for the same reasons. Even though this location is so close, I've started going to Walgreen's several miles down the road. It is faster to drive all the way over there and back. read more

I printed a coupon from a website called GOODRX.com, recommended to me by my doctor. The cashier, and then the pharmacist said they don't take coupons for this medication. The coupon was accepted at two safeways, and a Walgreens, and has the medication name on it!! Very arrogant and playing stupid. The website has THERE company LOGO on the coupon!!! This is false advertising at its best... I will never return there. They could have had all of my business....Blatant lie to rip off the customer, or just stupid?
