I Love Joe the pharmacist, I love Peggy. There is another gentleman there that is great too, but LINDA is the absolute worst. She needs to be terminated. I have been going to this CVS for 22 years. This Linda employee is the worst. Every time I go there and she is working the line grows and grows, because she is sitting there talking about her personal life. She can't have someone go to the window with taking at least 5 minutes per customer about her personal life. who cares. It's ok and good customer service if nobody is waiting in line. But as line grows 10 deep. SHUT UP LADY! We all have better things to do. Please read below.
After waiting in line for 15 to 20 minutes in line and the line grew and grew today, she was talking to the people in front of me bad mouthing their CVS store saying that their computers were down yesterday for 2 hours because they won't update their computers, The hard drive or the soft drive and She said they keep adding more and more options into their hard drive, and have to keep updating their hard drive and software, that the system crashed. Even their phone system is old and went down. Then she told the lady in front of me that none of the other CVS Pharmacies had that issue because they upgrade their system. It was just theirs. I am sure Corporate, or her manager doesn't want her telling people about their internal issues. She talks WAAAYYY To much.
Then I get up there to get my daughters prescription and my Ibuprofin, which I have had 10 times before. She goes to hand me the bag and say's, I am sorry, I cannot give you this. I said why?? She said because I have never had it before. I said OMG, I have been coming her for 25 years and have had prescribed Ibuprofin for MANY years, numerous times. She went over to another computer and said I cannot give this to you. We do not have a Pharmacist here to consult with you and this is a new perscription, and he has to go over it with you. I said, it's Ibuprofin, its NOT VICODINE. I asked for 2 pills until tomorrow when the pharmacist is in. She said she cannot give that to me.
Of course I was furious, and I lost it, but its only because I was in pain and I waited inline for 20 minutes while she talked and talked with the lady in front of me, then tells me there is no pharmacist and I cannot have it.
I did storm out of there. As I drove away, I called back. She answered and I asked how can you be a pharmacy and run a business and not have a pharmacist there. She then said they only have 1 pharmacist on the weekends and he was at lunch for a half hour. I asked well, why didn't you tell me that he was at lunch and will be back in a few minuteswhen I was there, I could have come back or waited. She just wanted to be a bitch I guess.
I went home I got my old prescription and I called to talk to Joe, and they put me on hold 3 times. They kept picking up and putting me on hold. So I went back to the store, and by now, my blood pressure was pretty high. I went to Joe and showed him my medicine. He told me if I raised my voice I would have to leave the store. I calmed down and told him I have been going to the pharmacy for approx. 25 years, and I love his customer service, I love Peggy's and the other gentleman, but Linda has to go. I know so many people that has transferred away from this store because of her. He diagreed and said she was his best technician. I said you need to research what I said.
Also, I was in their 3 weeks ago as I became a Diabetic, they gave me Metaformin, I had never had before. They did not ask me if I wanted a consultation, and it was Linda who helped me. I told my daughter as we walked out, they didn't even ask me for a consultation. A few months prior they gave be Advair and Albuterol, and never asked me if I wanted a consultation, BUT with Ibuprofin, they wouldn't even give me a pill or two until the pharmacist would be in. Which was supposedly tomorrow. After waiting in line for 20 minutes and the line grew and grew, I was furious. read more
