The POS terminals are so slow which adds to wait time and it's not helping the process. On the end of the customer's, you all need to stop overcomplicating your own lives and stop asking the pharmacist questions you should have asked your doctor in your visit such as how the medication works and any do's and don'ts. Also, the pharmacy isn't your insurance provider....so why ask them why your medication refills aren't paid for, why it's not covered and all of that? They will only give what they're allowed to and that's all there is to it. In the era of modern technology, I can't fathom why no one does their own research ahead of time. ‍

My grandma and aunties for reals come here to fill their prescription and get those Asian remedies like the Eagle Oil, Tiger Balm and Salonpas!! I have Kaiser insurance so I never had to fill a prescription outside of my network before. Recently, my right eye's cornea was burned by a negligent facial esthetician overfilling the water in a steam machine, causing the machine to go crazy and hot water shot into my right eye. My optometrist at Pomona Optometry wrote me a prescription for antibiotic eye drops so I just walked over here since it was conveniently in walking distance. When I entered the pharmacy, I was immediately greeted and assisted by Quynh. She was meek and polite. I handed her my prescription and she asked if I had insurance. Well technically I do, but this isn't going to be covered. I was paying out of pocket for the prescription. Quynh walks my prescription back to the Pharmacist, Tony. In LESS THAN 5 MINUTES, my order was ready!! Wowwwwwww!! That is so miraculous too me. I am used to the Kaiser bureaucracy where the doctor sends the pharmacy department my prescription and I need to get in line, check-in, wait 20-30 minutes and get in another line for pick up. I said out loud to them, oh really? That quick?!?! Dang, no wonder why the grannies and aunties love this place. Tony comes out to tell me to use my Polymyxin B Sulfate and Trimethroprim optathalmic solution 4 times a day, and only on my right eye. That was pretty obvious, but I am sure they are legally obligated to disclose. The most hilarious thing for me was when I was signing for the eye drops, they literally put the sticker in a spiral note book, and you sign to the right. Wow!! What an old school system!! Whatever works to make my process quick and inexpensive. So affordable!! My PRESCRIPTION EYE DROPS cost $18... which was basically the same price as the over the counter eye drops I bought for immediate relief. Wow! This was probably cheaper than the co-pay I would have had to pay through my primary insurance. Amazinggggg!! Quick and affordable!! No wonder why everyone loves this place!!

As I walked to the pharmacy, I noticed CVS has moleskin and picked a couple packs up because my husband and daughter use it sometimes when they wear certain shoes. At 11 a.m. the line for the pharmacy wasn't long, I was third in line. The pharmacy tech was polite and professional as she looked me up in the system. Apparently I had guessed wrong and she just smiled and said no problem when I explained I had made an error. She let me pay for the moleskin there rather than having to get in line again at the front store cashiers. Overall a quick trip to CVS where my service needs were met satisfactorily.
