I'd…read morehad an account with CVS for years in nearby San Dimas, but was won over by the fact that Hendricks had a same-day delivery service (if ordered in the morning) to my home in Claremont. Even if it was out of stock, they usually can get and deliver it the following day. This trumped any other concerns I have since I no longer can drive. I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, knowledgable and professional; getting the most recent Covid and flu shots was simple and fast. I have been quite pleased with them on all counts. What I don't understand are the respondents on this board who downgrade Hendricks substantially for what seem to be unavoidable and occasional problems that any pharmacy can have. I realize that being out of stock of a prescription for someone who needs it TODAY or having a customer think a single employee communicates with them rudely is a valid reason to downgrade them to a single star. REALLY? To me, it seems petty and unreasonable. At its worst, it's an unwarranted stain on the pharmacy and it's business.

The pharmacy tech asked for my birthday. I kind of said it fast so she inputted the wrong day and then asked me if my name was ---? I didn't catch it but it wasn't me. I had placed my DL and insurance card on the table in front of her so she could've checked them but she just asked my bday again. This time we got it right. Technically she used two forms of identification by asking my birthday then name which is what is legally required, but I think after the first error in communication, she should have just looked at my ID. Anyway that's just a little feedback. It all worked out. The pharmacist explained my medications to me and smiled when I said I understood. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes because no other customers were present. Overall an efficient trip!

I ordered some items online on May 31st. I received a notice that the ordered was delayed and then I got the ready to pick up I was told their policy is to pick up within 72 hours. It's only 6/2/26 so I'm still trying to figure out how I am over the 72 hour period. So I get there and Atzin helps me. He says my order was put back because I was late and over the 72 hour period and I would have to go and get the stuff myself. I'm not sure why he is on the register when he can't count days. I'm hoping the system doesn't shut down. So as I was walking away to go get the stuff, Octavio comes to the counter. I can hear the two discussing the situation as I was looking at the candy bars in the candy aisle which is that far away. Octavio calls me and says that I don't have to go get my order myself and that he would. I agree with him that this is the correct response instead of a worker asking me to do what they were supposed to do. I had just gotten off work and I didn't feel like addressing this. Octavio brings everything I ordered to the counter while Atzin insisted that my order should have been cancelled. I just had received the email remind me that it would be cancelled after today but I guess he thought it should have been already. I was really grateful that Octavio helped me. As I was leaving, what appeared to be the manager discussing something with someone else. Instead of ignoring me as some stores do, he allowed me to exit first instead of almost colliding with me as some employees from other stores have. Thank you for your good customer service. This would have been a 5 star review if all the employees here had the same mind set.

However, I was *really* unhappy with the store hours already, and now they're changing them again; I work pretty insane hours just to like, survive long enough to take my meds (and for some reason none of them are eligible for delivery), so getting to the store to pick them up was already really difficult. Now their hours are being screwed with (again), meaning even less time to work with to pick them up. It's clearly corporate being cheap and not wanting to allocate enough hours to adequately staff the pharmacy.

I live in Alta Loma and needed a prescription compounded for my cat. The vet referred me to Claremont Pharmacy and I am so happy that they did. Nikki is the most welcoming and friendly pharmacist I have ever met. Not only is she extremely helpful and knowledgeable, her price for my cash prescription was $20.00 less than the vets office charged and also $20.00 to $30.00 less than the other compounding pharmacies a I have called since. I highly recommend this pharmacy and will take all of my prescriptions there in the future. The only problem is they are located about approximately 30 minutes away. Wish they were closer. read more
