I was super happy to have found this small pharmacy. I thought I'd be super happy. WRONG This pharmacy has made so many mistakes with my medication. To not getting the dosage correct, to not following up with the Dr. Because I've had so many problems with them I started calling ahead. Now they never take their phone off the message setting. Kim was very rude on the phone. They haven't been able locate some of my medications pretty consistently for the last few months. It's almost like they can't find it. Lots of back and forth with my doctor trying to get it sorted. I have always been patient because they typically have decent customer service. Not today though. I don't want to give my money or support any business with poor customer service. I already have health issues I'm dealing with and I don't need an attitude for something I didn't cause. read more

After having the general manager John reach out to me and apologize for wha occurred. He explained to me there was a breakdown in communication. If it has happened in the past again I apologize. So I decided to stick with them and continue. And I have to admit for the last couple months they've been on top of everything. I have to admit sometimes yelp helps address issues that needed to be addressed. But the fact that 986 pharmacy went above and beyond and have been on top of my medication's, really made me feel at ease. Most of the time people write yelp reviews when they're upset, frustrated or extremely hot headed. I'm here to let you know that at this point I am happy. I'm glad that the company was able to address the issues, confront it and really work harder to change. I would definitely recommend using 986 pharmacy if you haven't done so. And I'm writing this update not because they promised me anything but because they corrected it issue and made me aware that they took responsibility for it. That's what businesses are all about. I called to see if I had a prescription ready. They first said that no prescription came through and to call my doctor. So I was about to when they called back and said nevermind they had it and it would be ready in 2 hours. Fair enough. So I go in 3 hours later giving them plenty of time. The pharmacy clerk lets me know it wasn't printed and not only did they never start on it, but everyone there claimed they didn't call me either. Which is weird since I showed the clerk my phone call. So either they completely forgot about me and my prescription or one of them is a liar. Not good either way. read more

After dealing all day and leaving messages on their voicemail with no answer I had to go get what I needed at the end of the day. Just wanted to take the time and give an update to my past reviews. This place is well amazing, they make you feel so safe and like home. They make sure they explain everything to you, give you advice and they will do everything they can to get your insurance to cover your medicine or find an alternative. The love and dedication these loving people give you is awesome. This has been my pharmacy since it opened. Coming from CVS and always being told that things weren't covered or it would take days to fill, this pharmacy goes the extra mile and always makes sure you leave happy. I was in dire need of getting cough medicine delivered! I have used this pharmacy for RX's before. Their recording actually says we can deliver RX's and other items. When I asked they acted clueless. They had to go ask "the manager." Then they came back with some ridiculous story that they couldn't because of liability! Really??? Have you listened to your recording... their response was complete cluelessness! Get it together 986! As a customer I am disappointed and health wise I couldn't go out! When you pick up meds, you might be vulnerable, you might have a very bad day, so being greeted kindly is very important. They were a godsend. I was looking for epipen jr for my children; there's a nationwide shortage for a few years. I found them and even though they were not the closest option I took a chance. I emailed them and someone from HQ (I think?) emailed me back even before they opened and replied they'll send my request into the local location. I email the La Verne location and they were very prompt in responding. They said they can order the Epipen Jr within 24 hrs. I was able to give them all my information and they ordered it the next day. As promised, they got the Epipen Jr the next day and sent me a notice that it arrived. I picked it up that day. This pharmacy came in clutch. We needed to fill an rx for my mom asap since she's been in a lot of pain. We called and they let us know they had it in stock. Lilia even called back to actually let us know she didn't have 90, but rather 70. I appreciate the follow up. We went down regardless to pick up the meds. Lilia was super friendly and answered all our questions. I told my mom she should definitely transfer her prescriptions here. They gave us a little first aid kit as a first-timer present.
