This pharmacy is unlike any other pharmacy that I've been to. They provide the highest quality care and even call the patient a month later to follow up to see how they are doing. Have you even heard of CVS, Walgreens, Target, Wal-Mart pharmacies who call you in one month or so to check and see how the medication is working out for you? Not me... and I didn't even know that you can order OTC items at this location until my parents told me about it! The staff here even offers mailing service whenever my parents cannot make it to pick up their order. My parents enjoy this pharmacy so much that they don't mind the drive when they run errands in the area. Another reason why this place is different is that they make a special compound ordered specifically for the patient! If it wasn't for my parents telling me about this place, I wouldn't have known that awesome independent businesses like this exist! Overall, it's a quaint pharmacy that is very personable. So I went to one of the big chain pharmacies that I've been going to for years to discover that they stop taking my tri-care military insurance. I've never heard of a compounding pharmacy until I got a RX that required me to find one. Off to Yelp I went and here I am. This pharmacy is located in the Baskin Robbins & Pho Super Bowl plaza. Irwin was the first to greet me and was very nice & helpful. He answered all my questions and whatever he couldn't answer, Amy was there to help. My insurance didn't cover the prescription but Irwin was kind enough to call my insurance to notify them of the medications and to double check if any portion could be covered. Met with Amy the pharmacist about an order for my dad who had a prescription for a sublingual solution that needed to be compounded and she was so friendly, caring and willing to help me out. No hesitation she ordered the raw material for the medication to be compounded and as soon as it arrived the following day, she compounded it for me and called me over to pick it up. This pharmacy definitely delivers a level of personalized service, that you don't get from the chain retail pharmacies. They do non-sterile compounded medications (compounded medications like oral solutions not sterile compounded medications for injections, intrathecal, etc.) and they are able to fill regular medications also that you can get from a retail pharmacy.
