Horrible Horrible Experience with the pharmacy here. A rude lady here name Hortencia. She can't even bear the fact you ask her a reasonable question. She gave me dead stares. I was trying to get my covid vaccine and flu shot here, I booked it a day in advance. When I arrived, they refused to give it to me since I do not have a prior record of vaccine shot. I was shocked that I have to show them the vaccine record to receive one. I told them I am from Nevada, they can look me up in the government website, it takes you less than a minute, they said I have to go somewhere else to use a computer and a printer to print out the record before they can take me in. I asked them what happened to people who never received a covid vaccine before, they said that's a different issue doesn't apply to my case. Basically shutting me down for no good reason. There is zero sense of help here, straight up rude people. I have been using the walgreen pharmacy all my life, but this one in particular, stay away at all cost. read more

Keeping it real. Made a online appointment for a free Covid test for myself and my 14-year old daughter after we had various symptoms. Most locations charge to test or very challenging to make an appointment. Walgreens made it very easy to make my two appointments for the following day. Instructions on what to expect and what to do, where to go etc.. were emailed to me within minutes of making and confirming our appts. Everything was done via the drive-thru pharmacy. So I finally got the rude cashier's name. Still the pathetic nasty lowlife. Her name is JUDY! No greetings whatsoever not only to me but also to 5 other customers that came into the store after me. I was the ONLY customer when I walked in nobody was anywhere near the cash register, I recognized her the immediate second I saw her. I walked up to her to let her know I have a photo pickup. "you can wait over there" were the exact same words that came out of her mouth. Not very nice but I wasn't expecting her to be, I just wanted my picture and got out of there asap so I don't have to deal with her nasty attitude. So I went over to the photo counter, after she was making pa on the phone she came over and asked for my name which I gave her. She then without saying a word walked away and attended another customer that JUST walked into the store at the cash register. She then walked back to ask if the order was under another name. I told her no, but it's an 8x10. She rolled her eyes like she had never heard the word 8x10 before. Then I said "it's an 8x10 photo". Surprise surprise she rolled her eyes AGAIN! and for the photo, rang it up and handed over the receipt without a word. This lady needs to stop working at any place that's customer service related. She's clearly extremely unhappy about going to work let alone doing her job. I'm Asian and I expect less than nothing about customer service. I went to this Walgreen to drop off my package (to Fedex), but the lady with purple hair working at the photo/Fedex center was SUPER rude and her attitude during the dropping-off process entirely made me uncomfortable! She kept rolling her eyes like she looked down on me every time she answered my questions. She also kept saying like "What???" that made me look stupid. It seemed like she does not want to work at all and I could feel she has been rude to every customer since I saw her talking with others with her unpleasant attitude after my turn. I don't even know how Carl became the manager at the Walgreens Pharmacy but he is hands down the rudest most condescending unprofessional human being I have ever dealt with. Idk if they just hire anybody or what but he exuded no sense of sympathy, professionalism, or yet alone, morality. He lied to cover up the mistake of him and his pharm tech and after me complaining of about the experience they put me through, he asked "ok are you done now?".. the words and the attitude that came out of his mouth were utterly degrading. This Walgreens is located on the corner of Fullerton and Colima, which is super busy at most hours. The parking lot has ample spaces, but just drive defensively because it appears everyone in this area is in a rush. The pharmacy staff members are really helpful, especially if you end up need rare medications that have to be special ordered. I also appreciate getting text reminders about refills. I love that this location also offers a variety of printing options for photos (books, prints, canvases). Keep in mind that they are pretty busy, so go run some errands while you're waiting for your drugs and photos. There are a lot of fun eateries within walking distance! read more

I made appointment for my parents for Covid -19 vaccine at this store, my parents are 86 and 87 years old, they don't drive. When they arrived store on time, the pharmacist ( Angela) refused to give them vaccine because they did not bring their old Covid -19 vaccine card. But on their website post : Regardless of previous vaccination history, the CDC recommends a single dose of the updated COVID-19 vaccine for most people. Later they found my parents vaccine history on their system, but she still refused to give my parents vaccine, just because they didn't bring vaccines card. My parents have to walk back and forth for vaccine which is not necessary at all. She is not qualified to be a pharmacist, she abuse these elder patients by her power. I've gotten my passport photos and other photos printed at Walgreens a few times now . The past experiences have always been nice, efficient, and good quality. This time, at this location, was the worst I've encountered. 3:30PM, I called to confirm if they're still taking and printing passport photos. I came in at 4PM and lined up patiently. I was approached by one of the workers, Christopher and inquired how he could help me, I explained, and then a waited few minutes until he ended up passing the task to another employee, Connie. She took my photo and then he was asked by Chris to take the cashier coz the line was piling up so she had to run. Chris took the camera but went to help another customer. I had to wait for the right moment to ask him if he needs anything else as I didn't see him input anything on the kiosk, and how long the wait was. He couldn't give me a time, I said 30mins, he said yes. So I ended up walking around the store and buying items. When it was time to pay, I asked Connie how long it'll take, she said they're pretty busy and honestly mentioned it might be over an hour but before the day ends. Good thing she did, and I wouldn't have wasted more time waiting for nothing at the store. I went home and waited for 2 hours before following up. I called the store to check if it's ready for pick up. Surprise, Chris answered and said that it wasn't processed. I was put on hold for 20mins, call probably recirculated and was passed to another person, Carl, which is by this time, I think is the manager. I had to explain everything again. I had to give him a description, what I was wearing, what I looked like. He said he'll process it. It was now 7PM. He called and told me that I had to go back to the store and get the photo retaken as it was not taken properly. So I had to go back got my photo taken by Connie, and had me order on the kiosk. We started waiting for about 10minutes, to be called by Carl again and retake the photo, because it wasn't done properly. This time, Carl ended up doing it. Had to wait another 30 minutes at the store. Bottom line, a supposedly 30-min process, ended up becoming a 4-hour hassle. I couldn't get angry because I understand how hard Connie was working, running back and forth around the store, keeping a professional attitude. But the other men, I don't know; in the area of communication and customer service. I am appreciative that they chose to continue working, despite the pandemic, that's why I tried my best to be more understanding, even though it costed me 4 hours, but the management has to do something with being understaffed and one person being overworked. read more

This is for their Photo Department. I picked up my (2) Photo Book orders on 08/21/22, Order around 7:30 PM PST. When I created the photo book, I used a specific template that was also specifically part of the feature when creating a photo book from Walgreens.com. The color theme that I picked has a light brown color themed and when I picked up my photo books, I noticed that the background with white circles turned out pink and there are about 5 pages with this pink background. The photo book that I made are gifts for my brother and sister and the photos are from our Dad's funeral. When I got home, I called the store informing them that the color turned out pink. I spoke with Christine and she told me to give her a couple of minutes, she will do research and she will call me back. Christine called me back approximately 5 minutes after and she mentioned these exact words, "they print as-is and there is nothing they can do about it. I informed Christine that the background that I used is NOT something I personally uploaded. The background was something that was included in one of the featured templates when creating a photo book online. When one of the toners is out, let's say the Cyan is out, it will pull the color from one of the toners available, which could be Yellow, Magenta, or Black. I explained that to Christine but she didn't seem to understand it. Christine's exact words to me were, "Contact our Corporate, maybe they can give you a better offer". I tried filling out the Contact Us form on the Walgreens website but it seems to be down. These were printed from your company, so how is it that I'm being offered a discount for a mistake that I did not even do? She does not seem to understand how important these photo books are for me and my family. It's a funeral for a man, for my Dad, why would I pick a pink color for it? She also viewed the photo book herself and did a test print and it came out pink when she printed it herself, sigh. I asked her to re-print them for me but she said she can't do it, all she can do is offer me a discount. It's a company's toner issue, why don't I deserve a re-print of the two photobooks that I ordered, it just doesn't make sense. read more

Whoever is managing or supervising this Walgreens location, you need to either be fired or at least check on your staff working. There was a total of four employees today at around 3pm. The Walgreens was absolutely packed and no one was doing their job, EXECPT one very hard working young Asian lady. I was there for almost two hours and the entire time I was there she was the only one working, helping out with every department in the store. Without her, I guarantee you every customer that came today would have left. I needed help with getting passport photos taken and there was a large lady that was there for 5 minutes. I went up to her for assistance and she came out and pretend she was busy. She totally ignored me so I had to ask her to help me. It even got to the point that she gave me the company code to access the photos and computer so I didn't bother her. She eventually disappeared, never to be seen. Safe to say I would not be coming back to this Walgreens for a while. The only reason why I'm giving this review two stars was because of that young Asian lady, other than that everyone else needs to go. They are not doing anything. Don't waste your time here. Worst experience ever doing the COVID test in this spot. I arrived on time for the appointment but got stuck in the line because someone occupied the testing window for long time and four other cars ahead of me. When I finally got the window, it already passed the appointment time and the window staff reject my testing saying I'm late and asked me to circle around for a later appointment. When I circled back again, I finally got the fun fact that the Walgreens staff who handled the COVID test already left for lunch and everyone waiting in the line were forced to wait another hour. Apparently, the window staff was just lying to everyone in the line just to buy some time for their own schedule mistakes. I don't know what to say for places like this. ( i was embarrased and annoyed). i called to store to let them know and they said i had to contact corporate becuase there was cothing they could do. after 3 months of dealing with corporate( emailing eachother back and fourth) they said my case was closed becuase the funds were in the account. called target to check gift card balance and they said there was no money in the card. called walgreens again and they said that my friend, the person whom i gifted the card to could call and complain. long story short nothing was resolved and i ended up loosing $100. read more

Very unprofessional service. The associate helping us first wrongly informed us that only US passport photos were offered, then after I insisted that there should be other countries photos offered as per the website, she was able to find that their software allowed photos to be sized for different countries. She seemed very concerned about going to lunch, and unfortunately it seemed that there wasn't another associate available to relieve her and help us instead, so she frequently checked the time and was very curt and rude in her responses. She told her supervisor that she had to get to lunch, then when asked by her supervisor to 'give him a holler' before going to lunch, she dryly responded "whatever." I had to ask to see the photo before it was processed, and it was blurry. I asked to retake it because it was blurry and she reluctantly allowed me to. The resulting photo was also blurry, and this was not an issue with the camera, software, or screen resolution, since my brother's photo was clear. I was told it would be about 10 minutes. When the photos were ready, I heard from behind my back "the total is $32.83." I had to turn around and see what was going on because there was no indication that she was talking to me or that the photos were ready. They did seem understaffed, and I'm sure working conditions at retail pharmacy aren't overwhelmingly positive. I also can't speak on all of the employees, but encounters like this really make me think the unemployment crisis must be over if it's this easy to get and keep a job. My 3-year-old has a high fever. After picking up the meds at the drive thru, we found out at home that they forgot to add the liquid to the medicine. Somebody dropped the ball and wasn't thinking. We had to drive another 30 minutes back and forth due to the screw-up. If you're a tired mom I think driving an extra 30 minutes is enough to piss off most people. This just happened right now 10:40 am. Been with them for several yrs. But this is unacceptable. I always get my prescription meds altogether every 3 months. This time I came here 3x this week. Just to get each one of them separately at the drive in pick up meds. But today, I waited almost an hour there's a car in front of me and a car on my back ( both of them were together because they kept walking back and forth) all I really need is to get my 1 prescription med. I have noticed that their items are priced higher than the price online unless it's an item on sale that week. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy their regular priced items in store since for some reason, they charge more. I recommend buying online and doing an in-store pick up or ship to store. Also, this may be a walgreen computer issue but often times, coupons I clipped on the account won't show up on the transaction so I have to call for them to reimburse me.
