This time, the manager decided to apply my winnings to my subtotal without even asking me first--which would have been fine if he had asked. Instead, when I asked where my cash was and if it was on my account, he said yes, and never once mentioned he had used it toward my items. I had points stacked, so I assumed that's why my total was lower. There was zero communication. When I questioned it, his attitude was rude and dismissive instead of just fixing it or acknowledging it. I do want to say the other two employees who are usually there are always kind, respectful, and actually understand customer service. I've never had an issue before--this was strictly a management problem. Completely unprofessional and honestly just frustrating to deal with.

Today on November 12th I went to buy a pretzel and was met with negativity and attitude. The moment I got there I was greeted by nobody and I saw the pretzel stand a mess. The glass was greasy the work station was messy and I saw into the kitchen and it was somehow worse than the stand. When I called over the worker to order she looked at me like I was a nuisance. I asked if I could order and she scoffed at me. After ordering it took several minutes to even get my pretzel and when given my pretzel she gave it to me with such attitude I left without saying thank you. I don't think I'll be returning since the customer service was subpar. The pretzel was a bit burnt too.

There are so much to choose from. They have different spice level to choose from. Simply pick a ramen of your choice. Once you selected the package, pay at the counter. If you need to add any toppings, side dishes or make it a combo, you can do so at the counter. After you pay for Ramen, you can simply go and cook it. Instructions are provided on the machine step by step on how to cook the ramen and when to add the ingredients. Your ramen will be cooked within 4 minutes. You can also purchase snacks, drinks and ice cream desserts. They have merchandise like lalabu, beauty items, etc. Ordered: Added egg, green onions. It was delicious Rabokki Noodle dish. I didn't do that because in reality I would make these when I'm in a pinch and didn't have time to prepare. I threw the lamb skewers in the air fryer at 400 for 15 minutes flipped halfway through. The flavor is incredible. With a bit of rice and soy sauce, it was perfect. The dumplings were flavorful. You can taste that they are homemade. They are meaty and filled with the chives. The skin is a bit too thick personally but still really good. I want to try to XLB now! Prices are on the pricey side but they are quality items!

Are they closing down someday or just trying to survive? There used to be a retail shopping center down the plaza, but it's currently under major renovations right now, so not many places to walk around. I liked the grocery items and prices inside because they're actually much cheaper here than elsewhere. You can find familiar brands of your favorite Chinese snacks and beverages. Fruits/vegetables/meats look decent for the selling price. Vibes inside felt more like mainland China with some Taiwanese folks working nearby. Expect old fashioned style employees in this spacious grocery store that doesn't have many grocery shoppers in it. Employees look hardworking, but it's pretty dead for business operations. You can still find takeout foods and the tiny barbershop/hair salon is still operating. Don't expect lots of tables and chairs at restaurants inside. Better foods are outside. It just felt like this place is struggling to survive or may go out of business eventually. I hope the shopping center nearby opens soon to attract more customers to the plaza. They have old style deli foods and BBQ plates. It needs more life around here. When I hear HK2 Food District, I was expecting much better foods/dining options inside, but it wasn't like that at all. I get to the bakery department and the lady looks at me like I'm crazy for telling her that I was there to pick up a cake. She checks the fridge and tells me, "we don't have your order. It wasn't done. You can come back at 8. That's when the other girl comes in" So I tell, "Absolutely not. I have an event at 8. I ordered the cake for a 7 am pickup." She responds, "Ok I'll make it now. it will be about 15 minutes". About 5 minutes later, I see her waving at another clerk. Clerk #2 comes up to me and says, "So we're out of Raspberry. Can you pick another flavor?" I tell her, "No. I'm pissed. I ordered the cake for 7 am and I ordered Raspberry. I was told this was a confirmed order." She says, "OK". I ended up cancelling my $100 dollar order due to incompetence.
