This place is always packed, since it has the cheapest gas in the area and is located off a major highway. Still their price is so competitive, they cannot be beat, unless you going to brave going to Costco's insane lines, it is the best place to go. Highly recommended just for the price alone. read more

The old clerk that works behind the counter has an attitude when questioned about the cash discount. He said read the sign. If you put a light there maybe we can all see it in the dark. I come here to pump gas before I head into work. It's a pleasant place. I usually use credit card at the pumps. I only run in to get lunch or just to look around for something to eat hahaha I actually found the packaged turkey sandwich. I was pretty impress with how good it was. Fresh and delicious. Went for a car wash due to Covid19. Overall not bad, takes credit card just before you going in for wash. $7.99 for an express wash. Drying is tricky, there's a time counter but it stops before it's fully counted, recommend you bring your own drying towel. This is one of the better gas station car washes. Oh when oh when will you finally open, Mr. (or Mrs, who knows?) Shell station? You've been under construction for so long. Convenient location off the north end of the 60/57 freeway interchange. Has Chevron across the street and 76 and Mobil down the street for competition. Which doesn't seem to be too intense, as the prices here are far from the cheapest in the area. I like coming to this Shell because it's a huge upgrade and a lot newer than the one on Brea Canyon Rd! What's also nice is that this Shell is right next to the entrance of both the 60 west and east freeways! The only downside I can say about this place is that if you use a debit card they will give you credit price! I know the Shell on Brea Canyon will give you cash price if you use s debit! So for those who like to save on gas by paying cash please keep this in mind! Also this Shell is ALWAYS packed and there's never a time where this gas station is empty. This is an open letter to ALL 7 11 employees both in management, and actual stores with gas stations. If you work for a company who will knowingly, and willingly, beat the snot out of a handicapped senior who is on a fixed income, or just a low income, or poor individual, you are an integral part of the deadly machine. Let me explain. People on fixed, or low, incomes, especially seniors, are already leading a challenging, and anxious, existence. We need comfort, consideration, and understanding - not big fat bloody noses by big business. I got gas last evening at 7 11 at about 1 am and used my debit card for about 26.00 of gas. I could not afford any more with a small balance left in my account to last me several days for food and essentials. I was already concerned about my low funds, but when I checked my balance this morning it showed 0 ( zero) balance because 7 11 zinged the debit account for 125.00!!!!!!!!!!!! More than I even had!!!! I called 7 11 hysterical because as a senior that is my food and medicine money. It is ALL that I had!!! I was told this is a common practice and will take 1 to 2 days to clear!!!!??! As a handicapped senior this is just unspeakably wrong. An hour or 2 to clear ok, but 1 day or 2? NEVER EVER!!!! I know seniors with low balances in their accounts that need their heart meds or blood pressure meds TODAY, not tomorrow, or they can actually die. They don't have the luxury of a very inferior system that not only borrows people's money for days, but causes harm. (Are you using this money for day trading? Nothing else makes sense!) Since I use this card at ARCO, I have NEVER had this happen and I believe their system is probably 2019 computer sophisticated which should be a no brainier for any large company. 7 11, and this means you, your system is immature, unsophisticated, unprofessional and downright pitiful, hurtful, and deadly. This is a very simple technical situation that could be corrected before the sun sets tomorrow and if it isn't, you and your employees are all responsible and a bunch of killers. You are destroying people physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Today i have not 1 penny to spend because of you and your tactics. Not 1 penny!!!! Why was I not informed at the pump that this would, or even could, occur?? Lucky me, I do not need heart meds today, or blood pressure, diabetes, organ transplant, or depression meds, or I could die!!! I am asking 7 11 employees to understand there are not thousands, but rather millions of people out there in my same low income position. MILLIONS! Repeat - you took 125.00 for 25.00 of gas!!! And I do not actually KNOW when I get my money back!! What is wrong with you? You can do this crap to most people, but you DO NOT do it to sick, poor, elderly, or handicapped people!!! Lastly, I was, and am, hysterical. I called the store where I got the gas and spoke to someone named Nathan Burke. This person was so mature, calming, intelligent, and engageing. He spoke to me as a person in trouble, was very concerned, and his demeanor left me speechless. I do not believe he is a manager, but I assure you, he should be. He was utterly brilliant, and I know because of him I will get through this horror though I am physically sickened by it. I can't believe there hasn't been a single review since this shell opened! The last review is over four years old! This place was under construction for years and years due to poor management by the city. Now it's fully operational with a mini mart and car wash. They have beer here if you're looking for a place to pick some up in a hurry. They are usually the cheapest option on the street but the price listed is for cash only. It's a nice clean gas station that doesn't feel sketchy or dangerous at night. The only downside is that the parking is hard to navigate when it gets packed so sometimes I just go to chevron across the street. The two often have the same prices! read more

It's either this Shell gas station or the Chevron across the street which are my preferred place to go when I need to fill my baby up. Now it depends if i'm going to get something to eat/drink when I fill up that decides which gas station I go to. Today I was in the mood for some quick breakfast so I decided to go to Shell since it's also a 7-11. Hot dogs are not usually a breakfast food for me, but if I have the morning munchies they always have some food pairing special prices going on. Today, 2 for $2. Fountain drink and hot dog. The hot dog buns at this particular location are always warm and soft. Not like other gas station places where you feel you can throw it knock someone out with it. But most of all the real reason to come to a gas station is... for the gas. The prices are always low. Dare to compare at other locations! Today's regular price was $2.79/gal. Any place else East of West of here are always higher. So, if you're on the 60 freeway and need some gas, stop by here to fill up. read more

Honestly thee worst gas station I have ever been too!! The cashier (blonde haired Mexican) really had no idea what she was doing. She mixed up 2 customers gas pumps and she looked as if she couldn't work under pressure or with a line of people being present which you would think being a busy area they would have 2 cashiers or something. I went about my way to pump gas so I walked back inside to get my change, I got back in line and she stares at me with this attitude and says to me "What happened?" Inside my mind I thought waow this lady is very rude!! So I answered her question with "Im here to get my change" she replied "Well you have to wait in line" I thought to myself OBVIOUSLY!!!! I told her "I know I have to wait" She replied back "Well mam we have to ask" so I answer back "Well yes you asked which is why I answered your question" By the look on her face she didn't seem to like the way I answered her. Sorry mam but I work in a professional field and attitudes like that are not tolerated under any circumstance. Once she reads this review I'm sure she'll remember who I am!! read more
