This time, the manager decided to apply my winnings to my subtotal without even asking me first--which would have been fine if he had asked. Instead, when I asked where my cash was and if it was on my account, he said yes, and never once mentioned he had used it toward my items. I had points stacked, so I assumed that's why my total was lower. There was zero communication. When I questioned it, his attitude was rude and dismissive instead of just fixing it or acknowledging it. I do want to say the other two employees who are usually there are always kind, respectful, and actually understand customer service. I've never had an issue before--this was strictly a management problem. Completely unprofessional and honestly just frustrating to deal with.

The flavor is incredible. With a bit of rice and soy sauce, it was perfect. The dumplings were flavorful. You can taste that they are homemade. They are meaty and filled with the chives. There used to be a retail shopping center down the plaza, but it's currently under major renovations right now, so not many places to walk around. Fruits/vegetables/meats look decent for the selling price. Vibes inside felt more like mainland China with some Taiwanese folks working nearby. Expect old fashioned style employees in this spacious grocery store that doesn't have many grocery shoppers in it. Employees look hardworking, but it's pretty dead for business operations. You can still find takeout foods and the tiny barbershop/hair salon is still operating. Don't expect lots of tables and chairs at restaurants inside. Better foods are outside. It just felt like this place is struggling to survive or may go out of business eventually. I hope the shopping center nearby opens soon to attract more customers to the plaza.
