I needed a Sunblock face stick, so I thought to check out my local CVS for a SunBum one. Staff I came across were very helpful and friendly and efficient. I was in and out of here within 30min. The pharmacy tech asked for my birthday. I kind of said it fast so she inputted the wrong day and then asked me if my name was ---? I didn't catch it but it wasn't me. I had placed my DL and insurance card on the table in front of her so she could've checked them but she just asked my bday again. This time we got it right. Technically she used two forms of identification by asking my birthday then name which is what is legally required, but I think after the first error in communication, she should have just looked at my ID. Anyway that's just a little feedback. It all worked out. The pharmacist explained my medications to me and smiled when I said I understood. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes because no other customers were present. Overall an efficient trip!

So I get in line, about number 7, and after about 20 minutes get to the window. She asks my name, says my prescription is ready, but cannot give it to me because they are taking a break. A BREAK AT 8PM? If she knew she would not give it to me why did she ask my name? Why was there not a sign at the front door explaining they are on a break and cannot give out prescriptions? My doctor sent my prescription electronically to this pharmacy (formerly named Via Verde Pharmacy). I realize nearly every pharmacy offers this type of service, but when you arrive you might wait 20 minutes to pick up. But, NOT at Mercy Pharmacy! I called in a refill, within the hour, I received a text message letting me know it was ready. I didn't even know my prescription number when I placed the order, I simply gave my name and phone number. You can also "walk-in" or make an appointment for the flu shot or Covid vaccine. I got mine here and waited less than 10 minutes to be seen. This is also a Hallmark store where you can purchase gifts and choose special occasion cards from the ample collection and supply. There is a mini-postal sub-station here. You can buy stamps and mail letters/packages too. This proved to be a real time saver and the prices are very reasonable.
