These pharmacy techs are by far the worst I've ever come by…read more Why is it that you call in to simply phone in a refill or get something done and the very second they answer you it's extremely transactional and rude when all they say is "Vons Pharmacy"... Not even a hi? You'd think they woild save notes too about how your prescription works so every single time you're not having to explain how to get your medication transferred from one pharmacy online to them. I have to do that every time and every time you can hear the hesitation in their voice for having to do their job. As is, getting medication is already stressful enough and the poor customer service is not helping the point. I absolutely will be going to the BBB and writing a review. Every pharmacist there is just rude, obnoxious and lazy. Except for Carlos, I have nothing but good things to say about him and I'll spare him the review.

I moved my many prescriptions to Hendricks after I moved to Claremont , CA, in June of 2022. I'd…read morehad an account with CVS for years in nearby San Dimas, but was won over by the fact that Hendricks had a same-day delivery service (if ordered in the morning) to my home in Claremont. Even if it was out of stock, they usually can get and deliver it the following day. This trumped any other concerns I have since I no longer can drive. I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, knowledgable and professional; getting the most recent Covid and flu shots was simple and fast. I have been quite pleased with them on all counts. What I don't understand are the respondents on this board who downgrade Hendricks substantially for what seem to be unavoidable and occasional problems that any pharmacy can have. I realize that being out of stock of a prescription for someone who needs it TODAY or having a customer think a single employee communicates with them rudely is a valid reason to downgrade them to a single star. REALLY? To me, it seems petty and unreasonable. At its worst, it's an unwarranted stain on the pharmacy and it's business.

Luckily I was already parked behind the Walgreens where the CVS is located (funny that they are in…read morethe same parking lot really.) I walked inside instead of using the drive- through today. The pharmacy tech asked for my birthday. I kind of said it fast so she inputted the wrong day and then asked me if my name was ---? I didn't catch it but it wasn't me. I had placed my DL and insurance card on the table in front of her so she could've checked them but she just asked my bday again. This time we got it right. Technically she used two forms of identification by asking my birthday then name which is what is legally required, but I think after the first error in communication, she should have just looked at my ID. Anyway that's just a little feedback. It all worked out. The pharmacist explained my medications to me and smiled when I said I understood. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes because no other customers were present. Overall an efficient trip!
