Went to CVS on Grand in Glendora to pick up meds. A text advised me to use a barcode on my phone for faster service. Signs directed to a specific window dedicated for those using a barcode. Just as previously, there was one no one attending this window. The window to the right was attended with four customers in line. Eventually I was directed to come to that non-barcode window ahead of those in line. I said no I'm not jumping ahead of the other people. Only then did the young man service the barcode window. When I left a lady had come behind me and was directed forward. She refused, saying she did not wish to go ahead people already in line. When the young man shot me a condescending look, I said if you are not going to show respect for your customers I will. Get it together CVS, you can do better. read more

Drove to 'CVS Pharmacy,' Glendora, CA., to support them because I can't keep going around the same businesses. This location was nearby a former work place, so I came back to visit them but also got lots of discount coupons here to finish using. Any ways, I was excited when I saw some scented Yankee candles on sale, but they must have been misplaced because when the price rang up at the register, it turned out double the shelf's posted Clearance price. Hope my luck will be better that I find the sale items I needed here again next trip. Any ways, other than that minor issue, I was able to locate everything I needed today and something I didn't need like always. Customer Service: 5/5. Was prompt and no line at check out. Ambiance: 5/5. Very neatly organized inside from all aisles I walked just not the Clearance section where I found the scented candles. Listed price was $4.8....turned out $12.... Parking: Free plaza parking and right out front so super convenient here, close to home. I'll be back again. 08/05/24~second visit.....my luck returned today. Talk about cornucopia of PLENTY! I don't live in this neighborhood and found myself a bit low grade jelly for all the offerings that my local CVS doesn't afford as compared to this one. You can quite literally do some home decorating AND get a face make over for all their offerings. The aisles were replete with "stuff and things" you may have thought you didn't need, but ended up buying them anyway because of how well - arranged the displays are. $70 on random stuff and things .... and I'm a happy customer. read more

Today I experienced the worst customer service I have ever had since being a customer for 35 years. I was in line waiting for an emergency prescription. I was 5th in line of 7. Both pharmacists were available, laughing, joking completely ignoring the customers in line. Only one person was at the window. When it was my turn, I was told that the person in line just ordered 4 prescriptions and that my prescription, which was called in at 3:42 would be after the person who was in line ahead of me. Not going back, even for the convenience. Customer service at its worst. I know it won't make a difference, but if you have any dignity, don't go to this CVS. read more

Transferred from Azusa CVS. I understand that this location has a lot more customers now due to changes brought on by the move but it's been a while now since the changes and this place cannot keep up with the demand. There has been miscommunication at this location and my prescription order at one time was said to be ready and I called to make sure it was there but when I got there it was not ready. Today and yesterday I've been calling to speak to someone no answer. Today August 2, 2024 I get this automated service system letting me know to leave a message and someone will call me back in one hour. This is not true. I called and left a message at 10:15 am and have yet to receive a message by 1:25 pm. I left another message and hope they call me back in an hour but I'm not holding my breath. This location does not have a drive through and has shorter working hours. I feel it's time to start looking at other options other than CVS or find a 24 hour service place. Too bad there is nothing close to Azusa that is down the street from me anymore. Hoping that a new type of Pharmacy can open up in my area again with drive through service with better or longer hours to pick up prescriptions. read more

The pharmacist there treats you rude doesn't abide by the rules of the doctor questions to doctor's prescriptions questions you withhold your medications and then bans you from the store I have to go to another store in another city and they give me problems too because of this pharmacist I don't know where he thinks he knows better than the doctor when judges have to obey doctors don't pharmacists also? I was shopping for makeup and she introduced me to another lady there named Bernadette. Just came across this shopping center and found several stores to my liking. CVS in this shopping center is great! They have great customer service. Cashiers and other employees are friendly and helpful. The store is large and very clean. Everything is in order and well stocked. Its a plus they have a Beauty center and a Minute Clinic inside. This is one of my new favorite CVS compared to others in the area. I don't know why I never noticed this one here! My insurance covers 100% of my prescriptions and this pharmacy continues to switch my prescription to a 90 day fill and charge me 10$ per prescription. They have done this 3 times. The last time I specifically said NO not to switch on a phone call and they did it anyway. When trying to switch it back to free 30 day fill it all of a sudden is a complicated task that requires a complicated process. They then say they are going to handle but never do. I was transferred to this pharmacy in Glendora when the Azusa store closed. I used the Azusa store because it was Union and the Pharmacy staff had the best customer service and cared for everyone. Called you by your name and always stayed on top of things. If something was OTC. They would get it for you if it was written as a Prescription. At the Glendora location here in Foothill are rude and refuse to take care of OTC! Maybe two girls there smile and all the rest need to learn customer service from the manager that was there this evening Friday December 29th at around 5:30 pm At the checkout the young man that was working was trying to get people to use self checkout this isn't the first time having issues with this store! This is quite an interesting CVS. I went there to print a picture and it was hard to navigate at the kiosk and it didn't pick up all the pictures off my phone. After finally getting it to work, it took the staff 10 minutes to even start the printing. The staff wasn't very friendly and looked like they did not want to be there. The rest of the store, however, was not bad. Everything was clean and orderly, and there were many options that you would normally find at a pharmacy, including some food and toys. Honestly, I would expect all CVS' to be like this so overall it's not bad compared to others. read more

I was picking up my mothers prescription and the checker failed to use my mother's insurance. She then proceeded to move me to another window and was told to sit and wait five minutes while they fixed the error. Ten minutes later I asked another woman who was supposed to be handling it said oh the orders ready and says go and wait at the register. Three customers later I again ask what's going on. I finally get to the register and that clerk had search for the prescription. Long story short I won't be returning to this store. read more

I stopped by this pharmacy for a prescription pick up after my urgent care visit next door. The urgent care doc already sent the escript over so he said I should be able to just pop in. I had to wait for a bit after check in due to them having problems finding my insurance. The associate helping me quickly seemed helped when she was having issues locating my insurance info which was good. I often run into other pharm staff that just say they can't find it but little effort or guidance is put in to try and resolve the issue. Soon after, I was able to head to the prescription pick up line and finish my transaction. Thanks to the ladies hard work, I only had to pay $4 for my 10 day antibiotic therapy. Thank you read more

As good as CVS gets. It's all around mediocre. The staff is mediocre, the store is mediocre, just a mediocre place. They don't have a printing area were you can print pictures from a phone, SD card, flash drive, and more, and there prices are pretty good. This is the worst pharmacy ever! The CVS store itself is great and they have everything you can think of. But, the little 12 year old girl pharmacist is on a MAJOR POWER TRIP!! I'll make this long story short. First, she wouldn't fill a prescription that was supposed to be free. She gave an invalid reason. Then, she said she would fill it, but only at full price. Unreal horrible experience tonight as I arrived at the pharmacy counter at the Glendora CVS on Grand Ave 8 minutes before closing time. The Pharmacy manager Mike and his team were uncaring and completely unprofessional as they laughed when I pleaded with them. My husband has stage 4 cancer and we had been in the ER all day. He needed the pain medication immediately. Mike the manager refused to process the prescriptions because they were closing soon. What? What does that mean? Then change your closing time to 8:52 pm! I had a someone following me and my baby at this cvs today, i thought the person might have been a secret shopper, but the more I paid attention the more I realized the woman wasn't a secret shopper and I started to panic. I went to the register and discreetly told the cashier that I have been getting followed by this lady and she reassured me that they didn't have a secret shopper at the moment and they will take care of this situation right now. She immediately spotted the lady standing close to the exit as I was describing her and she got her store manager to come out on the spot. As soon as the manager came out she also told her I said I didn't feel comfortable leaving alone and they quickly called someone to come out and walk me and my baby to my car. I just really want to thank the staff for acting so quick as soon as I said something and took care of us. I was absolutely shaken and went into a panic attack in the parking lot but kacey was so sweet to walk me to my car and stayed there until I put my baby in her car seat and I was sitting inside. I wish I remembered the name of the cashier and the store manager to thank them as well. Thank you so much. read more

It's always such a pain just to be able to get the pharmacy to answer their phone. I get there 2 minutes before they shut down for 30 minutes lunch and they tell me I have to come back. I've had 8 spine surgeries in the past 20 years and it's near impossible for me to sit for 15 minutes let alone for 30 minutes. Also, I get a two prescriptions every month and they tell me that they can't preorder my medication knowing that I will be back in 4 weeks. This requires me to wait until they get my prescriptions before they order it which can take up to 4 days and then have to wait until 4pm on the day that they receive in the morning. There needs to be some common sense of trying to meet the needs for people who requires their medication on a timely basis! read more

I only received 1 of 2 meds and they said my insurance doesn't cover it when I didn't even use insurance. Not her problem and not her issue to go and wait in the consultation line. She could see I'm clearly disabled. One eye is almost swollen shut (I had.to come for my own meds yesterday bc of this ) When I asked her name, she smiled and said 'Kimberly' when I told the pharmacist at the consultation window she looked confused. But then said she would figure it out and talk with her. I was extremely nice to begin with. There was no need for her flippant, condescending attitude. I just transferred all of our scripts to Albertson/sav on. They are much nicer and have no issue talking to you. I couldn't even get a pharmacy consultation yesterday. I live near this location and so it is super convenient for us. But the professionalism of the pharmacy people here is really disappointing. First complaint: For any prescription I get they insist on refilling it forever, long after I even need the medication. At one point I was getting dozens of texts every month telling me that meds were waiting for me--and these meds we all for health issues that were long gone. I repeatedly called and told them there were only two meds that I needed on an ongoing basis, but they kept doing refills. (No wonder insurance is so expensive.) I finally had to go in an demand that they delete any refill orders except for those two. It took several attempts in person to get rid of these unneeded refills. Then, one time last year my medicine for acid reflux did not seem to work--my acid flared up immediately upon starting a new refill. I called and asked the head pharmacist if something could be defective in that particular batch of the med--she acted if that was the most stupid idea she had ever heard. But then a week later she called and grudgingly told me I could trade my current refill for a new supply. It was apparent other patients were complaining of the same thing. I think of licensed pharmacists as professionals like RNs or even doctors, and I expect courtesy and real concern, but you likely won't get that at this CVS location. Last month I went in with a paper prescription that was written for pain meds for my wife. I had just brought her home from the hospital after a surgery for an appendicitis. It was a Sunday afternoon. There were no other patients in line at the pharmacy, and the pharmacists looked like they were chatting amongst themselves and just relaxing. I asked the girl if they could expedite filling the Rx as my wife was in great pain, having just come home from the hospital with the morphine wearing off. I was tersely rebuked---it would be at least an hour. I went to the nearby Starbuck's and killed an hour while my wife suffered at home. I went back to CVS and it still wasn't ready. I repeat: there were NO other customers in line or waiting at that time. After another half hour the meds were finally ready. The people behind the pharmacy counter seem very grim and indignant. This has been an ongoing observation over the last few years. There must be a morale problem at this location. I have not noticed that with the people at the front counter. There are few employees available however amongst the aisles if you are looking for something, so be ready to walk around and hunt for what you need. I really miss Long's Drug Store which had been at this location. The culture of Long's was much different. They really cared about their customers, and that is sadly not that case at this CVS. read more
