It's always such a pain just to be able to get the pharmacy to answer their phone. I get there 2 minutes before they shut down for 30 minutes lunch and they tell me I have to come back. I've had 8 spine surgeries in the past 20 years and it's near impossible for me to sit for 15 minutes let alone for 30 minutes. Also, I get a two prescriptions every month and they tell me that they can't preorder my medication knowing that I will be back in 4 weeks. This requires me to wait until they get my prescriptions before they order it which can take up to 4 days and then have to wait until 4pm on the day that they receive in the morning. There needs to be some common sense of trying to meet the needs for people who requires their medication on a timely basis! read more

I switched to CVS a couple of years ago, because Walgreen's stopped (temporarily as it turned out-I think they realized their mistake) stopped accepting the insurance for my prescriptions. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the prices overall seem a bit cheaper. This is also something of a convenience store, so you can get some food, household items, etc. read more

This CVS Minute Clinic is so unorganized. I had an appointment for a TB test and they cancelled the reading that is done during the second appointment. There are no appointments today, or tomorrow (the last day to get a reading). I'm a student and I can't afford to spend another $70 on this type of test. read more

I turned in a prescription for my son and was told it would be an hour to fill, and it would be ready at 11:30. No problem, I go run errands and I come back at 12:00, 30 minutes after I was told to return. I waited in the long line only to be told it wasn't ready and it would be 25 more minutes. In hindsight, I should have just said ok, but I was frustrated that it was still not ready. How hard is it to count out 30 pills... with a machine that does it?! Seriously, it isn't a special formulation or anything. I am sitting there watching the pharmacist stare at a screen for 20 minutes. She is moving SO slow. Jeez Louise. Look, I can handle waiting. But I have arranged my schedule and my day around their time frame. If it is going to be 2 hours, cool, tell me 2 hours. No one wants to be told an hour and then have to wait another hour. So, after 2 hours, my prescription was finally ready, and I was asked to stand in line AGAIN. I get up to the register, and now they want my ID. After 3 years of giving my son this medicine, I have never been carded one time for pick up. I go to show her my phone wallet ID (THAT WORKS AT THE AIRPORT!), and she won't take it. I ask (admittedly with a bad word and attitude) why I need an ID for my son's medication, and she says, with eyeroll and attitude, "It is a narcodic." O.K. gatekeeper, I just want to leave this god forsaken store. But nooooo, I am at her mercy because my child needs that medicine...I have to go to my car and get my ID and get back in line and wait AGAIN, third time's a charm I hope. I was upset and frustrated, and instead of, "I know it frustrating," or "thank you for going to get that," zI was met with high voiced condensation like I am a 3 year old. Next, as she tried to explain to me the rules (since I am new to her store), I told her to stop, and I would not be back. I'm just a mom, trying to get her kid his meds. I am not a criminal with a drug addiction out trying to make Meth with 30 pills for a 10 year old. CVS... good luck. I am OUT. This is ridiculous. I have only had positive experiences at this drug store. I most often use the pharmacy because I'm as old as dirt and the staff there has always been very helpful and professional. Pharmacy has Horrible customer service! Our 8 year old was in dire need of a medication (that we just found out was a special medication that cvs no longer fills) After calling every day for 2 weeks I was barely told they could not fill our request. I asked what we needed to do, what our next step should be and the response was, "I don't know". I was told the medication had become special order a month ago and I asked why no one had told us during these past two weeks and the response was "I don't know". The pharmacy staff is not friendly at all, especially to the elderly. There is a couple a very nice people that work there, which makes me feel bad about leaving a terrible review, but the bad ones ruin the whole pharmacy. The one lady in particular made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience and that she didn't have time to help me. She rolled her eyes, interrupted me and was extremely rude. She was also extremely rude to an elderly gentleman ahead of me. I felt bad for the older man and I'm sure she made him feel terrible. The way she was talking to him was not okay. Let alone at a place where he should feel comfortable to ask questions and get help. Cvs really needs to look at their pharmacy staff. I Purchased a gift card here for a gift. The card did not work when we tried to use it. We were told it showed a zero balance. We went back and tried to resolve the issue with this CVS location. The CVS store manager told me she could not do anything for me and directed me to CVS corporate. An investigation into the matter was opened on Jan 10th. It is now January 31 and I have heard nothing back from them. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved with both local and corporate. They have not offered me anything for this inconvenience and have been less than helpful. My family had been shopping here since it was called Longs. I have decided to take my business and pharmacy needs elsewhere. After all CVS is overpriced and the service is a let down. They could have avoided all of this if they wouldn't have taken my money and sent me on a wild goose chase. read more

My 16 year old, 150b daughter was prescribed a typical liquid pain killer (Tylenol w/codine) after a tonsillectomy. Kay P. (on duty pharmacist)_ would not fill it. After much conversation, it was obvious she wasn't going to fill it. NOT a CVS policy, NOT a store policy, just HER. She told me to come back later when a different pharmacist would be on duty or go somewhere else. Talked to the store manager, he didn't seem concerned at all that they had a patient needing medication prescribed by a SURGEON. I guess a store manager and pharmacist knows more than a board certified surgeon practicing for decades!! OK, going somewhere else...FOREVER. Will never go to this CVS again. So I came to this CVS location and I had a raincheck for a buy one get one free item. I bought 4 so 2 would be free. It didnt let me use 4 coupons. This one dark colored hair older lady came up to my cashier and said that I cant use a coupon on a free item..She even gave me a "duh look" Really? Thats not what your coupon policy states! I've never had issues with a pharmacy before coming to this CVS in Glendora. Tried to switch my prescription from Monrovia to Glendora online and had no issues. I showed up to the CVS Pharmacy 1 day after it was ready for pick up and they said nothing was ready for me. They didn't even have my info. To make matters worse, when the pharmacist started seeing a line forming, she dismissed me and told me to talk to her co-worker (who was on the phone) and didn't explain to me what was going on and why I needed to discuss my situation with the co-worker. Another pharmacist helped me and said they would need to call my doctor for a refill and they'd text me when it was ready. 3 days go by and nothing from them. I call again and find out no one has called. So they said they would try to reach my doctor that same day and it would be ready in a day or 2. I call again 3 days after and still nothing ready for me to pick up. And the person on the phone says I'm not in their system! What is going on?! I end the conversation with her and let her know how horrible the service is and I'll never go thru them again. Be careful coming here, the staff and pharmacists really are lost and clueless. (And I won't even share the gossip I heard in the back with 2 pharmacists talking like 2 high school girls and their drama) read more

We have been getting our meds here for years for both my family and I. And we have a large family. I arrived at the pharmacy 9:02 PM and was refused service stating they closed two minutes ago yet they were for employees still trying to clean up. I asked him kindly and stated that I have been without meds for four days can you please make an exception and allow me to pick up my meds but they refused. They turned me away without my meds. I shop at this store only for convenience of location. I am a carry-over from Long's customer. As CVS, I've hardly ever gone in this store without encountering a problem of some sort. Today the A/C wasn't sufficient (in July) and I could not get ANY help in the photo center, which was the purpose of my trip. This person was on vacation and that person was new, as they apologized in a rude tone. Prices here are not competetive either. Very poor service. Went for an immunization only to be told my insurance doesn't cover it. I knew they did. Had to call my Ins company and found out the pharmacist used the wrong codes. Once that got straightened out I was told the one that had to give the shot just left for lunch. I'm sitting in my car for another 30 minutes So I can go back in and get my needed vaccination. I talked with a young lady over the phone about my perscriptions. She was unhurried. She gave me the information I needed. I ask her about the messaging system that doesn't work for my OS. She was polite and said that the messages were computer generated. Since my messaging system did not with their system I had a problem. She just added to call the pharmacist when I needed the medication prescription filled. So, it looks like the staff has changed entirely. I went in to the pharmacy. I asked a question. She deflected because she did not know the anwser. I told her that I don't know is an honest answer. And I left, but other than that small human error, service was excellent. read more

Staff has a poor attitude and is always reticent to assist both in-store and with phone assistance -- that is if you are lucky they decide to answer the phone. Been using this store off and on for a long time. After our Ralphs closed, I started using this location for my numerous meds. I did have to pull one prescription due to CVS's distributor stopped using a med from one specific drug manufacturer which was the only one that I found worked. But other than that, I have found all of the pharmacy people to be very helpful and very concerned with your issues/problems/concerns. As for the actual store, I have not seen anything to warrant any unfavorable comments. All cashiers are good at their job and answer any questions that arise. I had called earlier today regarding a prescription that was not covered by insurance and a wonderful super helpful person from the pharmacy offered assistance to me and mentioned that she would email me a coupon to save me over $200... Only to show up to pick up my prescription and be treated with horrible customer service. To be fair the girl who initially was helping me was super nice and friendly But the line was getting long and you do the coupon it was going to take longer so she requested for back up the pharmacist had to ask the assistant twice to come and help me as she lollygagged in the back.... then she came up was super unfriendly not helpful at all and then continued to tell me that they don't email people.... I do not question her for a minute that she would not offer that assistance to email somebody but the wonderful helpful person earlier that day had offered..... I asked when the girl from earlier would be back since she was so helpful and she said I don't know maybe she closes maybe she comes in later I don't know..... Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have every dealt with in my life. I would give them zero stars if possible for excessively long lines, poor customer service, and the complete inability to have prescriptions ready on the day that you need them. Good luck reaching them by phone, the line is always busy (in 2015). The first time in the pharmacy, I waited 20 minutes to drop off, then 30 minutes to pick up. Second visit, I went in to the store, and waited in line for 30 minutes. I physically handed my prescription receipt for 8 medications to be transferred from a pharmacy 2 miles away. The pharmacist brusquely grabbed the receipts, and said they would text when they were ready. Two weeks later, I'm out of my medications, I call them, wait on hold for 12 minutes, then am told, "I don't know what you're talking about." What ensued was a long stressful conversation that ended with the clerk telling me they "probably can't do it by today." You have been warned. read more
