I'm at the age of my life where I look forward to the new week's sales so that our family can plan on upcoming home meals and stock up on any other sustenance needs. This means that I find some type of oddball excitement on Tuesday where I go online, or on the phone app to look at the new deals. I've taken a liking to the Albertsons (Vons) apps in particular because of these money-savers, but on some special Fridays, I find products like Thrifty brand ice cream for sale. But it's not just for the flavors, but that nostalgia just hits home! Other deals slap, but this is just one that excites my household. lol Back to the store. The staff is so nice here and I really want to emphasize on this. The lady at the deli was super helpful and pleasant when I ordered fresh cold cuts. To top it off, I went to the meat department afterwards, and the lady there was just as sweet. Customer service at this location is unbeatable. I've only been at this location a handful of times but they are always great here. I haven't read too much of the other reviews for this location, so if there are bad experiences with this staff and you disagree that they are great, I just might have to fight you to defend my new friends. Man, I can remember when they first built this Albertsons over 15 years ago. I liked coming here back than when they had some of the best produce, and good deli area. I was here not long ago, and yeah, so many check out stands closed, and long lines with very little help. Service is not the best. People staring at me and my girl as if we were aliens from another planet. I just do not like the vibe here. read more

I was extremely disappointed during my recent visit. While waiting in line, I witnessed an employee stop helping their customer to rush over and access the Pokémon vending machine before me. They openly laughed about it, told me "it's ok, next time," and then bragged to another customer about how they "glitched the machine" to bypass product limits--ensuring no one else could purchase certain items. To make matters worse, the employee quickly ran to the back with the exclusive items they had taken (including a Black Bolt ETB and booster bundles) and walked away with packs visibly in their back pocket, still laughing. As a dad on a budget, it's already difficult to find products due to bots, scalpers, and limited supply. Seeing store employees--while on the clock--engaging in this kind of behavior, instead of helping customers, was frustrating and discouraging. This experience left me questioning how fair the process is for everyday shoppers who simply want a chance to buy something for themselves or their kids. read more

From the looks of all organized aisles, seemed to me an organized supermarket to shop? Not sure why they are sitting at 3 stars. But nowadays, I noticed there doesn't exist that many branches of Albertsons any more. I was glad to find one from the City of Glendora, CA today on 07/28/24 on Route66. I was in dire need of going to clean public restrooms and this was the place to go. I found quite a bit of very tempting sales but since I had been on a diet, I was unable to buy Pringles' chips although I was eying on the Pringle's section.....Peet's Coffee was on sale too but we currently just stocked up on Colombian coffee from Sam's club, also in Glendora, CA. If I'm not on a diet in the future I'll come back for fetching junk food here. Nice place to shop! read more

One of the Best Albertsons store! The store is always clean and organized whenever you shop. The vegetables and fruits are always fresh. The meat department one of the highlights in this branch. If you are looking for fresh meat, here is the right place. The seafood always good. The bakery is another highlight! Frozen section, cleaning supplies, canned food, tissue paper products and liquors. I enjoy shopping around to find my grocery list and of course I usually go beyond the list. All Albertsons have sale on Fridays on certain items and usually they are good deals. Digital coupons are accessible if you have the app. If you enter your phone number, it shows the coupon you clipped which is great The parking lot is spacious. The employees are very nice,attentive and friendly. It's a nice branch to shop at and find varieties of good products. read more

I frequent this store quite often. But am disappointed with the crowds that have been stopping by. More often than once I've come across people that are up to no good. People you know don't belong there, or have any reason to be there. Groups of kids hiding snacks away in their backpacks. Vagrants and hobos walking the isles that often smell of booze a urine who are eating the food right in the shelves. Just people who are up to no good having meltdowns over being caught about to run out with a handful of merchandise. What happened to loss prevention, what happened to security. It's sad sight to see and not feel safe while grocery shopping for my family. read more

I've been shopping at this albertsons for years my whole family has worked their whole lives for this company and I have to say the bakery girls are the most rudest employees I have ever encountered my mother is 82 years old and for the last 3 years she has come in for fresh rolls and they treat her very rude and they act like she is bothering them in my 35 years with the company I never treated anyone rude I always went out of my way to help everyone that was my job that's what I got paid for the store manager needs to start cracking down on these rude people as for us we will take our business else ware read more

I swear the clipped deals never freakin work. I also get charged regular price... Not sure why the staff here treats you like you're about to steal $10 in rice a roni but that's how they go about business here. It's insane. Cashier saw me walk in with merchandise, wait for 10 minutes, then when no one helped me, reprimanded me for bringing in merchandise and not telling anyone. Uh, yeah that's what I was doing while I waited at the customer service booth. After yelling at me, I waited another 5 minutes for someone to come out and tell me they were gonna ask if their manager could help me Or not. I ended up walking out. I've also been previously stopped at The Door and scolded for not going through the registers after already having paid. Like what is going on at this location? Employees think they have a handle on loss Prevention and are out here risking their lives over rice and roni. It's a fuckin joke. I also called corporate and told them the situation, the representative took down my number but for whatever reason my old home number was listed to which the store manager responded to the email with "fake number". I just finished an interaction with a manager, who did not want to give me her name exactly when I asked she walked the other direction. I asked again. She never turned to acknowledge it. I had to ask one of the other cashiers what her name was and her name was Alyssa. I'm in a check stand. That's having technical difficulties or some other kind of difficulties and the poor check checker have to call her to come over and fix it. So she opens up check line number three but rather than take the people who were in line to check stand three as soon as they open it up other people take advantage of that we were not allowed that courtesy. And when I asked her, she says well you have gone over there and waited. As well, I'll include that in my yelp review and she says well, I hope you have a better day. Funny enough I'm having a great day. There was no animosity. This was just a good example of poor management. Poor customer interaction skills And a reflection of Albertsons management business model. read more

10/17/2018 Inside the Albertsons supermarket is the first thing you see walking in. Starbucks right in front. Even though this Starbucks operates and serves the same drinks, it is part of Albertsons. You cannot redeem your stars for a free drink. I think it is very misleading to have the giant Starbucks logo on everything selling all the same products but cannot redeem any stars related drinks or food items. It is much easier if I just go across the street to the actual Starbucks location if all I want is coffee. Otherwise, just walk on by and continue your grocery shopping. So disappointing to have made the trip all the way in just to find out it is not the same. read more

This location is a well stocked grocery store with fast, friendly cashier checkout customer service. Also, I really like that they have a delicious brand of rosé wine sold here (I've bought twice already!) that I can't find anywhere else! No other grocery store or even Target sells that brand. Although it's close for me, it's in the northern Glendora area, which is a slightly longer drive but it's still worth the grocery trip! read more

I have been shopping Albertsons for years much to my surprise, I ordered cupcakes with whipped cream frosting because they no longer have in the cold case, They told me it was a special order $12 so I placed my order. after working all day long I went to pick up my cupcakes and was told I need to go upfront and pay first and then walk back and pick them up and then walk back to get the rest of my groceries. There was a young girl by the name of Gianna working in the bakery that Friday, October 11 told me I will go pay and I will walk back and pick them up myself. I asked her if she can bring them up or have someone bring my cupcakes to the front as I paid she said no it's your job to walk back here and pick them up yourself with your receipt, that's our STORE policy , I never heard of a customer having to walk back to the bakery to pick up a $12 purchase when in the cold case they have cupcakes $24 and I could take those to the front with out the hassle, I was very upset, I also was encountered with a bakery manager Deborah very very rude woman. she seems so unhappy. She has no business dealing with customers when she comes to work every day so upset Deborah and Gianna have no business dealing with customers as they have poor custom skills. I spend hundreds of dollars there weekly I will no longer go back into this Albertsons on route 66 in the city of Glendora. these two associates need to be retrained on customer service. It's 5pm and they had very few nuggets and I asked were they fresh and the guy said who knows - maybe 2pm. Never going back! read more

Came here today for 2 things a gift card because Albertsons is the only spot that carries gift cards for every possible merchant you can think of and of course the fresh French bread , I came they were out ladies were nice enough to tell me if I waited 10 minutes a fresh batch was coming out and I did thank you so much to all the ladies in the back today working on these holidays it is much appreciated!! read more

Used to be a great store with friendly staff and a great selection at decent prices. The selection of products is now horrible, lettuce and other produce are overpriced and wilted. Meat department is horrible. Prices on everything are ridiculous and the availability of various cuts is terrible. I would say that service is terrible as well but that's easily avoidable by using one of their 12 self checkout lines. Feels like a corporation about to go bankrupt. read more

This is my favorite Albertsons. I have staters right next door to me but I prefer coming here for all of my groceries. I always have a great experience with the customer service, they always have my go-to items in stock and it's very clean in there which I appreciate. Today I have to say I really appreciated Kathy at the self checkout stations. She always is awesome and kind but today she really went above and beyond for me and I wanted to acknowledge her and say thank you for having great people working here. All that happened was a coupon I clipped wasn't working on my app, she did everything she could to help me get the deal. It was just for some cherries that I didn't need but they looked too good to pass up. Now I'm sitting at home enjoying my cherries at a wonderful price because of Kathy. This is my go-to store for scallops and O-organics chicken dumplings! I love it that they always have my favorite dumplings in stock. I will get 6 to 8 boxes every time I come here. The store is very clean and well-organized with everything customers need for fresh groceries. The associates are friendly and helpful. Once I left one of my purple cooler shopping bags in the shopping cart and I didn't realize it until I got home. I called the store and told the young lady about it. I asked her if she could tell the staff and let them know I would come next time to grab it. I stopped by the next morning after I dropped my kid at school. The custodial told me he did see the shopping bag the day before but he couldn't find it in the place he put it. He went to ask his manager and brought a key. He opened a drawer with the key and handed me my purple bag. Excellent customer! From this detail, I could see that all the employees working here including the phone operator, the associate, the custodial and the store manager do care about their customers. I talked to my family about this and think this detail really means something. I recommend this Albertsons for the wonderful customer service and the fresh groceries! read more

This was my favorite store, but not anymore. I have been shopping here for 18 years and today, I will be going over to Stater Bros permanently. The service has declined and the pharmacy is always screwing up something. The friendly cashiers are gone and now they are on their 3rd remodel and this time around they are going for that ugly concrete floor warehouse look. If I wanted to shop in a cheap looking warehouse, I would go to cheapo Walmart or Grocery Outlet. It's just a shame that this welcoming bright store is being ruined for this industrial look and do it yourself check out yourself register model. What was wrong with the last store design? I love my local albertsons. I still like my old albertsons but my new one i am very happy with. It is so close to home. Large parking lot with the exception of not having many handicap parking areas. The store is large and is always kept up clean and well stocked. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Currently taking precautions due to Covid. I see them cleaning baskets all the time and keeping customers in order when at the check out areas. read more

I go to this Albertsons because they stock Welsh Rarebit. A dish my mother helped create when she was a dietitian at Stouffers. It reminds me of her as she passed away back East a few years ago. Speaking of back East, there are some foods Easier to find here that I grew up with including scrapple, German Dutch food we also call Pannhaas (leftover pig-you don't want to know the rest of the ingredients, but it's so gooooood!) They also occasionally have their generic Diet Mountain Dew knockoff that's pretty darned close to the original. My only beef in this store is the horrible layout it is so cramped up front. Otherwise not a bad place they have a nice flower section. I try to put flowers out on my patio to make the house look more vibrant but I can't keep anything alive. I killed a cactus once, I thought that was impossible but not for me. read more

Come to this location probably about once a week and it's kind of upsetting nothing changes. The same cashiers are extremely slow same meats are always low and same employees always have an attitudes. The store is always clean and they have great produce, which is why I give them 3 stars. But management needs to make some type of change to satisfy customers and develop some type of cutler that's customer friendly and not so "I'm here for a pay check". I have shopped in this store since they opened, I hold very fund memories as a child coming with my parents. The staff has always been very helpful and professional. Every year, we purchase birthday cakes from the bakery (Must try their fruit tart). Maddy has been super helpful (especially during covid) in getting any bakery items we need. I can't express how much I love the deli. I come once a week to purchase my cold cuts and Vanessa is extremely helpful. I usually stick to the same meats and cheese but she has encourage me to explore other options including their salads ( new found love). Vanessa is very professional and definitely knows her customers and what their taste buds like. read more

Well, not going to do order pick up again. I send my adult son to pick up the order. (After getting the text message that the order is ready.) He goes, calls the check in number, gives the requested information - my name and the order number. "We don't have a record of the order." I check the online order for date, completion, etc. Yup. Today. This time frame. They told me they use the phone number to verify. (They never asked my son for a phone number.) After waiting at customer service for a bit, out they come with my order. They also only bagged 2 of the 3 produce items. Because we don't mind vegetables rubbing against other items that have been potentially handled by who knows how many random people, right?! read more

My doc called in a refill after several days of going back and forth with the pharmacy. Then when I arrived to pick it up the Pharmacist said she still couldn't refill my Rx because the doctor didn't give her a reason. WTF? Do ANY prescriptions have a "reason" on them? Why didn't she ask the doctor when she had him on the phone? Sharline Toders (sp?), the pharmacist, has given me problems for years. Now its time to change pharmacies. She's the worse.
