The center itself is a big shopping hub with plenty of parking. it's always bustling, but I swear, no matter how busy, you can always find a spot just maybe a little walk from the front. It's been a couple months since my last visit, and wow, they've added a fantastic new section right as you walk in on the right-hand side. Now, they have a cozy coffee and breakfast area! They brew fresh coffee and serve breakfast sandwiches from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The prices looked super reasonable, like breakfast burritos or a cheese sandwich and I can't wait to try them, though sadly, I got there in the evening, so it was already closed. Next time, for sure! Of course, Sprouts is known for its fresh sushi, bakery, and their custom sandwiches. they really do a sandwich bar better than a certain big chain (cough, Subway). The price is about $5.99 or $6.99 with chips and water so it's a steal. My only gripe? They used to have this pesto sauce( my absolute favorite) and chipotle, honey mustard and it's gone! Now it's just mayo or mustard, which is a bit of a bummer. Management, if you're reading this, bring back pesto! Despite that, it's still a crowd-pleaser, always a line for those sandwiches, and for good reason. One thing I'm not a fan of is their fresh meat section. it's nice, but always overpriced. Whether it's chicken, salmon, or beef, I just can't justify it. Trader Joe's has better variety for less. On the bright side, their fresh produce is always top-notch, big sections, tons of snacks, vitamins, and even a great soap bar selection (I always grab a few). I got a roast beef sandwich on whole wheat it was divine and some fresh prepared salad and salmon for later. Plus, they have at least eight self-checkouts so helpful when it gets busy. They take all major credit cards, and I love that they have both big and small carts the smaller one makes navigating those aisles a breeze. All in all, a fun stop, and I'll be back. just, please, bring back pesto sauce for sandwiches!!

Hot food bar area is always stocked, and everything is nicely cleaned and organized from the produce section to all of the fridge items and cooking goods. Got some packaged super greens for my bearded dragon here and they have mustard and collard greens and the bundles aren't horribly ginormous like other places. Nice servable portions especially if only a lizard is eating it (you get to choose though so don't worry). Like the parking, it gets busy here, but workers are friendly and efficient.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Tokyo Central yet, though I've stopped by here…read moredozens of times - my go to is their sushi tray options! They have the BEST tasting salmon sushi/sashimi all around, at this price point, even better salmon quality compared to nearby sushi restaurants in my opinion. (Our Japanese native friend also agrees.) Best part is - 20% off after 7 pm!!!! But the trays get snatched up quickly. Too bad I'm not around the area at that time, otherwise I'd make Tokyo Central my weekly run for dinner. Their Kimchi Tako Poke is another regular we get, it's so good. However, recently, the only option I saw was the Shoyu Tako Poke - and I didn't like this version one bit - too hard and the flavor is not to my liking. Will never get it again. The hot food area has quite a decent selection, priced and weight by the pound, self-served. Often around 3-4pm, you may see 20% discounted packaged hot food placed out, whatever that's leftover from the lunch rush hour. Tried it a few times, but felt most of the food is heavily dosed in MSG, so I'd be selective on what I get. They also have sashimi party trays which require pre-order. Great pricing for the quality and convenience. Overall, love their sushi selection, and it's a regular stop for us. As for the market itself, there's not as much to buy, and pricing is on the higher end. However, they have a larger selection of some products that I can't find elsewhere, and sometimes their advertised specials are decently priced.

Also grocery and refrigerated items I hadn't seen before. This location is very clean, lots of fresh bento boxes for your choosing. They have a good frozen section and many pantry items. Prices are pretty much the same as other locations. My only experience that was blah was the cashier. She was an older lady with glasses and she seemed impatient and hurried me to move my items towards her on the belt. There was only one other person behind me, so I didn't understand the rush. But it did come off slightly unfriendly. Otherwise, it was an as expected store. Lots of parking also in their lot.

I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only got one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who wants to eats here after purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.

Sometimes they're worth it to stock up on more and other times no. Like what another review said, their prices can be deceiving because sometimes their red tag prices are their regular prices or even higher than regular price even though it's marked as a red tag special. There were several times where I calculated and the bigger item was more expensive than when you get multiple of their little items. Hope that makes sense. Make sure you check the expiration dates and how many items you need to purchase to get those red tag specials prices. The staff (ie: cashiers, stockers) are always nice here and they work efficiently.
