Thank God we still have a drive thru grocery store here in West Covina. Im a fan of Rockview for many years now & I am more appreciative now during this pandemic. Many times when I'm cooking & my kitchen is out of salt, sugar, cooking oil, eggs, cream cheese, hot sauce, ice, drinks, beer etc, Rockview is always there to help me. I came across this place while I was lost and trying to find my way out of a neighborhood.I don't even remember the last time I saw one of these drive thru grocery marts.So I had to stop to check it out. As soon as you drive up they are ready to deliver the goods.Its been over a couple of decades since I've been to one of these so they were nice and patient with me.I got that feeling of a newbie so I was feeling rushed even though I wasn't.I ended up getting a soda,even though I don't really drink them and also a ring pop which again I don't even buy these because I don't eat candy.What the heck was I thinking,oh yeah the experience of it all.As I pulled away I noticed that they had a Slush Puppie machine,dam I should of got one of those.Next time I will be more prepared to order now that I have scoped out the joint.I will be coming back. Overall they have good customer skills and the place really looks clean compared to the ones I have seen I the past.They do carry milk,eggs and other items that are a pain to get when your in a rush.The place isn't visible from the main street but one can find it on the Yelp map.Thats all,Peace read more

I am very pleased with the excellent customer service, great selection of items, and drive thru convenience of Rockview Dairy. I was headed to a friend's bbq and had to stop at the store on my way, but my two year old son was asleep in the backseat of the car. I really did not want to stop at the store, wake him up and grocery shop for a few things and get back in my car! I was in a rush! So I came here after about 10 years and was delighted to see they were still open! There were a few employees working and they had everything I needed! The exact chips, dip and soda case I needed. They accept EBT and they bring everything to the car, even the atm pad. It was quick, easy and the woman helping me was so polite. Very fast service & prompt. read more

I love driving thru this place with my kids. All of the staff morning and night are all pleasant and professional. Never a negative experience. I enjoy the vibe of the old school dairy. You pull up and they come out to your car to take your order. They have a great selection of Thrifty ice cream, milk, great priced eggs, old fashioned bottled sodas and my kids favorite, the slush puppies and of course the junk food- Chips, donuts, candy. I've been a resident of West Covina for quite some time now and have seen this particular establishment change owners throughout the years. And for some reason they don't last. I just LOVE coming here! They have everything that I need and even make wonderful recommendations! They're all so personable, professional, and so welcoming! Due to Covid, I'd much rather 'shop from my car' than go inside a busy supermarket. This drive-up market is an advantage in conveniency, and to me, far safer. I love their Broguiere's glass-bottled milk and Chocolate Milk! I also enjoy their Rosa's Strawberry Milk. And....Thrifty's Ice Cream!! Came here to pick up a snack instead of going to the liquor store down the street . Let me say my experience wasn't the best. The short cashier girl was pretty rude to my daughter and I. She looked stressed out maybe because there were two cars in line ordering chips and soda. I guess moving from one part of the store to the other will cause emotional distress. I hope she's the owner of this establishment because if she's not there's no future in being a rude, unprofessional dairy drive thru chips and soda ringer upper. I was offered home milk delivery service when visiting the Farmers Market at the Great Park in Irvine. We tried the service...which was great. We decided to cancel since we were not drinking as much milk. I called, they said no problem. I have since found out I was charged a cancellation fee of $29.00. I was NEVER told I would have to pay a fee to cancel. I was told we could cancel at any time...yes you can...as long as you pay $29.00. read more

So this dairy is somewhere I love to come they are a little pricy however that's beyond this point . I pull up and I go around (the exit) and the lady rudely tells me to go around before I can say I drove to this side to see the slush flavors she said again go around . Then a gentleman with tattoos helped me out (I'm not against tattoos just a description) I then explain why I drove there , he says the flavors and I order . THEN , I ask for a swisher at the same time of asking I hand him my ID he looks at it hands it back then starts walker over to the swishers doesn't grab a pack and walks back and says can I see ur ID again I laugh WHEN U ARE HANDED AN ID YOU SHOULD KNOW THE YEAR YOU ARE LOOKING FOR . Point is the employees here are so RUDE ! don't work here if you do not want to help all types of people and for the girl who got fired from toy r us working there is really rude and now I know why she lost her toys r us job .
