I rotate the markets I go to for weekly groceries and household essentials. Sprouts is at the top of the list. I really like the organic, natural and wholesome products. I always browse through the deli for salads, cheese and carved lunch meats, ready-made casseroles and sandwiches. Then I go to the Butcher counter, primarily for the "catch of the day" seafood. Many are marinated and ready to grill or bake. The produce has good selections of fruits and veggies, plus "salad kits" ready to serve with chopped veggies and dressing included (I buy the Asian, Southwest, Mediterranean, Sunflower Crunch, and more varieties). The dairy, bread, tortillas, and frozen foods are on the left-hand side of the store. You will not find all major brands. Sprouts only carries wholesome and organic products. Those are the main highlights. I do try to find healthy snacks to keep potato chips and cookies to a minimum. This week, I am pleased with a package of individually wrapped rolled "crepe" snacks with strawberry jam. I came in today ordered a sandwich 5:40 pm the guy with the ear piercing was acting like he's never made a sandwich. He didn't ask what we wanted on each half... would put what one said on both after the second time we just left it. It was really annoying. read more

I ordered from instacart for tomorrows lunches. I have to mention that because if I would have noticed this in the store I wouldn't have bought it. Sprouts use to have the best salads. Then some very very smart person thought it would be a good idea to start putting the salad dressing on the bottom of the salad. ‍. These salads are made to eat on the go correct. So who wanted to pick through the salad to get to the dressing. ‍ not me!! I am so disappointed. I had to put it in another container for lunch tomorrow. Also this was the diet Mediterranean salad, I mean it must be it only had 5 olives, one grape leaves and 6 tiny cucumber pieces. This tops it. I will never go back. This review is for the sandwiches at the deli. I think their sandwiches are so good and so reasonably priced! The build-your-own sandwiches are $4.99 and if you want to add avocado or cheese, it's an extra dollar. The sandwiches are big enough that I can share the sandwich with another person and be satisfied, so it's like getting a meal for only $3! In terms of service, I've only ever gone during off-peak hours so I'm usually waiting behind 1-2 people and it takes about 5-10 minutes for me to get my sandwich. Parking is plentiful. Unfortunately there's no indoor seating available. They usually have a few outdoor tables set up in front of the market. In summary, I would recommend trying this deli out to see how you like the sandwiches. You might need to come a few times and try different meats to be able to make a fair opinion. read more

Had to get a gift for someone. Sunday night 7pm. nothing was open. Tried the florists all were out of nice flowers and closing or closed. I stopped in Sprouts and grabbed some red roses, about $15 and handed them to the lady I was giving them to. She sent me a picture like 3 weeks later and they were all still alive. So shocked, I didn't believe it. each one was beautiful. so a few weeks later I had another gift to give an I doordashed it and got the colorful bunch and the same thing. They are so beautiful. the florist would charge us at least $140 for what I got for $15. sure no vase but it was fresh and healthy! read more

Well, my complaint here seems to be a problem that only happens in this store. In this Sprouts, they don't allow you to fill out a form to have a sandwich made. ALL of the other Sprouts stores that I have been to, 4 or 5, has at the sandwich counter a slip of paper where you check a few boxes and leave at the counter, with your name on it. You're able to go pick up a few items, grab your sandwich and check out. But in this location, for some reason, the consideration of the customers is not important. As a marketing point, it makes no sense. For instance, I could fill out a slip of paper, leave it to be fulfilled and browse through the store! As a marketing view, this makes sense. You may realize that your low on dog food. Or decide to pick up a precooked chicken for tomorrow. The possibilities are Endless. It would help Sprouts profit margin, not STRESS out the counter help with a constant and long line, and allow shoppers to save time and make other purchases. So, What exactly is going on? Why can't this store work efficiently for their clientele? Are they so profitable that they couldn't possibly bother the book keepers? Or is Efficiency something that is alien to the management. Honestly, The Old World Deli a few blocks up makes a damn good sandwich. They're fast. And you can grab some beer and chips too. read more

Waited 45 mins in line to get a sandwich. Meanwhile, this one man wearing a tye dye tshirt wouldn't be quiet. Held up line yapping non stop. Get to front of line intending to order two specialty sandwiches but, wanted sourdough. That would be an upcharge of $2, any changes to the sandwich would increase the price by $2 each change. I personally thought changing the bread was ridiculous to charge $2. I can see adding bacon or avocado. But, waiting 45 mins only to be told my sandwich was going to be $$$ forget it! My wife and I have been a long time Sprouts customer since we first discovered this market. We buy plenty of things from time to time, however our main go to item is always a specific type of egg: Happy Egg in the purple box. We generally have always had a pleasant experience when shopping at Sprouts however, after shopping at the Sprouts location located at: 2630 E. Workman Ave. West Covina, CA 91791 around 9pm on 10/28/2024, this changed to one where we are now looking for an alternative location to purchase the Happy Eggs. Here is what happened, we came to this location and had one goal, to purchase the eggs. Our son LOVES the taste of these eggs and we generally go out of our way to make sure to get them because we love the taste as well. We headed to the eggs section and began checking the eggs, because we did not once and ended up with a few cracked ones once we got home. While checking we noticed a few cracked ones, so like we always do we swapped out the cracked ones for good ones. (Note: we have done this in the past at other locations and other markets and have never had any issues till now.) There happened to be an associate nearby and he saw what we were doing and instead of politely asking us not to switch the eggs, as we did not know you could not do that with broken eggs, the associate instead loudly yelled at us and said "Hey do you plan on buying all of those eggs you are touching? If not,you can't do that, you can't switch out the eggs." He pretty much said it so loud that all the other customers around us turned to stare at us as if we were criminals that got caught stealing, even though he was literally right next to us and you can confirm this with your security camera footage. We told him they were cracked and he said we still could not do that to which we replied okay sorry we didn't know that. After that, we continued to check for any boxes with cracked eggs and put them aside while looking for boxes without cracked ones and the associate was still standing there next to us, pretty much monitoring us as if we were trying to steal the eggs. Then to top it off, another coworker of his, whom was his manager but we did not know this at the time, stood behind us on the other side of the frozen foods open container and was watching us also. Other customers noticed this and it really made my wife and I feel uneasy. We did not commit a crime but the associate made it feel like we had. We quickly picked out the eggs and then left to go pay, prior to leaving, we saw the associate walk over to his manager and begin chatting obviously about what had just happened. Once we got to the self pay kiosk, my wife became really upset and finally decided to ask for a manager. Once the manager came it was the same lady who was chatting with the associate. My wife explained to the manager the situation and how it made us feel really embarrassed when he could have told us politely and quietly as he was right next to us. After hearing the story the manager decided to give us a small discount on the eggs for the incident. After receiving the discount, the manager, which I could clearly hear mention the associate's name as being Javier. However, I decided to ask the manager again what the associate's name was and she told me it was "Kiko"? Which sounds like a lie and she may be trying to cover for her employee. Regardless of the name, I've already given the employee's description over to Sprouts corporate to investigate. I would just like to say that this has truly been the worse customer experience we have ever received from a Sprouts location. Overall it has truly been great before this incident. It almost felt like racial discrimination because the associate was talking so politely with another lady of another ethnicity but treated us like criminals and spoke loudly enough to bring attention to the incident. Like I said this is not a common incident from Sprouts so this review may not stand out since overall Sprouts provides great customer service but I would definitely suggest to shop at another Sprouts or farmers market where incidents like this should not and do not happen. read more

Sprouts was very neatly organized. In this trip, I came for the sandwiches which I intended to try for a while. The sushi looked fresh as well and recently fully stocked. There's a small dining area with a microwave for reheating packaged food. I noticed they added self checkout which was new to me as I haven't been here in a while. Staff were nice and quick to assemble sandwiches despite the long line. I had the chicken club sandwich with chicken breast, avocado, bacon and Swiss cheese on multigrain bread. I opted to toast it. The cheese was not as melty as I like but I think next time I'll switch to pepperjack. Besides that, the sandwich was delicious. The combo upgrade for $1 more is fairly inexpensive but I noticed they had an apple,kale and quinoa salad in the deli and i asked for half pound. I just really loved the tangy vinaigrette with the sweetness of the apples. read more

I come mostly for the sandwiches. Sometimes Whole Foods. Their sandwiches always slap! This time I tried the sushi. I order a platter and I was able to get it the same day. About an hour later. So thanks for that. They usually request you order a day before. I got the mixed platter. Not sure the name. Crunch something. It was ok. Too much wasabi on one of the rolls. Other than that, the rest was good. Great portions too. I wasn't really pleased with it to be honest. But I'm giving 4 stars because of the variety and they accommodated my late notice. But something was off. I'm going to stick to the sandwiches and leave the sushi to the sushi bars. But thanks. read more

Cashiers and others are friendly and helpful from the staff that stocks, to the deli and fresh meat section. I find most fruits and vegetables are always fresh compared to other markets. I always find what I am looking for, if i cant find it someone is always willing to help me find it. This is a good large location that also has a bakery and can get busy during Lunch time. It's completely worth the wait for a deli sandwich to go. The store is clean and well stocked and there is an open seat area to have a treat after shopping. read more

They've been pinched, poked and even sniffed in very appropriate and inappropriate places. Words by non other than the produce that've been here for a short while. If they could talk that is. Just because they are Fresh we don't have to treat them like that But we do! That's the quality this market brings and not only that. They have a wide selection of organic and plant based products that can compete with all the others. From the well known favorite labels to the new and up and coming future staples. And as we all know the better our body machines are well maintained the longer our life span so they say. The service is consistent and most of the employees are in the know on the products they carry as well as any future ones taking the place on the ones that are on the way out. I normally go to my local Sprouts in Alhambra but I happened to stumble upon this Sprouts when I went to Dicks Sporting Goods for a curbside pick up on Sunday and seen this Sprouts & decided to do my shopping here. First off, there is plenty of parking, very clean inside, the employees are friendly and smiling and looking productive! As soon as I walked I noticed a "cafe/bar" area, they had nitro brew, cold brew, and kombucha on tap! They even answered my questions and went out of their way to get the information on the nutritional facts regarding the Kombucha served (I ask a lot of questions, I like talking, lol). The store is pretty spacious and personally I think it has a wider selection on a lot fo "keto" products than the one in Alhambra, especially the new "keto" edition enlightened ice cream :) read more

This is the friendliest and cleanest Sprouts I've ever gone to! And since I've yet to have a negative experience at Sprouts, this means a lot. Very spacious and welcoming, each staff member treated and spoke to me with kindness and attentiveness throughout my entire shopping experience! I could even tell that the young man working the exit who wished me a good night, actually meant it...! Haha. To be honest, i usually only come to sprouts for the sandwiches. For whatever reason, the sandwiches hit the spot. But you better come early because they will run out of condiments, meat, bread and whatever else you were craving. I give a 4 star review only because its no secret that you are going to wait in a line. Im not sure why the deli is always understaffed, i feel so bad for the sandwich makers. They are so busy they are unable to restock the items and the customer is out of luck. Perhaps other staff in the area can help out, like the sushi makers or the other deli staff. Everyone seems to work alone. But let me tell you, the sandwich combo is a deal (a sandwhich, a bag of chips and a bottle water for under $6). I really like the sanwhiches here because they will toast your bread and they have so many options. You will never regret a sandwich here. I also like to buy fruit at sprouts, always fresh. They have a great variety of candy and nuts sold by the pound. I love the mango gummy bears, so yummy. The staff are nice at this sprouts, always helpful. Came to grab lunch five dollar sushi. It was good for grab and go sushi. I got the crunchy spicy roll & crab rooll. Sprouts is taking precautions and has a line outside due to how many people can be in the store at a time. You need to wear a mask, social distancing and cashier are wiping down converbelt after each customer. Their is one way in sprouts and one way out. read more

We love sprouts! All of the employees are nice and even on the busiest of days you can get in and out relatively quick with better quality food than other local grocery stores. The biggest positive for us was I bought some cheese that was on sale and went bad with mold within like 2 days! Still no employee at the deli. One year since my last review. I went back in, with the hope of getting some of the prepared salads. Waited 15 minutes. There was a line for sandwiches, but no one serving them (he was, according to someone in line, on break). I know, from past experience that neither the sushi or sandwich people are able to dish up deli. I asked the manager, who's best advice was to arrive at 7:00 am when they could possibly have someone available. At this point, I would be highly concerned about freshness, as they don't have an employee on the counter, and therefore sell little to no prepared salads or meats. read more

I like the sandwiches but it takes forever to have one made. It's always one person and it should be 2 making them. Today it took 10 minutes to get one made because the sandwich preparer had to go to the vegetable section to get avocados someone requested for their sandwich. The deli counter at this location is INSANELY slow. They always take like 30 minutes to slice 1lb of ham. I even put my order in and continue shopping... come back and check and it's still not ready.
