They have so many things here, this place is so convenient! It has been here for so long since I have lived here a long time ago when i was a child. I drove back in the area and am glad to see that it is still here. You can still come to get milk, some snacks, a drink. or even the lotto! The prices aren't bad at all compared to going to going to the store. This place is so convenient, it's just too bad California doesn't allow drive-through alcohol sales! I mostly come here to get a lottery ticket twice a week, I rarely buy anything else but the employees are still super nice to me (I kinda feel bad that I only spend $2 at their store). This is my second review as Yelp reached out and has removed my previous review. I have never had an issue with this place until recently. In short, the sexist employees at this business were rude and one even berated me in front of my kids. The owner messaged me and apologized for their behavior and I believe reported my review to maintain his 5 stars. Shame on Yelp for accommodating because this practice keeps customers in the dark about TRUE customer experiences. As for the owner, don't bother messaging me with your farce of an apology. How I love thee, Foothill Dairy Drive In! I grew up back East, and fondly remember my mama frequenting a drive-in dairy called Dairy Barn. Most times, she had 3 screaming toddlers in the backseat and still in her nightgown. It would be snowing, sleeting, or raining, and boy DB was my mother's savior I am sure. This place is my savior when its ten-million degrees out and I am too scared to leave my nice, cool, air-conditioned auto for a dozen eggs, or milk, or a 24-pack of ice-cream sandwiches. I love this dairy! I came here when the grocery lines were horrible and still come here! Everyone is soooo friendly and nice and patient.....as we know working with the public can sometimes be a nightmare...but these guys are always respectful. I love the variety they have here...they have my fave ice cream here...it's a secret!! We also get lottery tickets here..lots of winning scratchers. They have a large variety of products stocked. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and friendly. The prices are competitive with local grocery stores and much cheaper than any other dairy I've been too. I appreciate that they are not taking advantage of the fact that a drive-thru dairy is convenient. I even was given a complimentary café mocha today when I stopped for ice. How I love this place. It's right across the street from where I work (and live!) and it's the cheapest place in the area for cigarettes. Not that it matters. I'd gladly pay a few extra pennies for the convenience. They have pretty much anything you need, which is amazing. I don't know how they cram it all in there. They're also super friendly. I always want to tip them for retrieving my items for me but they have your change ready to go as soon as they hand you the item you're purchasing. Love love love love. read more

The last few times (4 to be exact), the milk we bought soured way before the expiration date and we've bought old, crystallized ice cream 2 times now also. I worked at store # 3 that was at 5th and Cerritos. Every now and then would work store #1 up on highway 39 as a back-up, I remember when McDonald's gave there employees a raise to 165 an hour, The owner of Foothill Dairy, Wilford not to be out done gave us 175 Hour.
