This pharmacy is absolute disaster!! I waited in line for over a hour just to get checked in for my first COVID shot. I know their busy but come on. They could of at least took our information and let us wait outside, they obviously forgot about social distancing and gathering inside. The ladies behind the counter we're very nice the only problem was that one Caucasian pharmacist kept taking her mask off? Really? I would definitely like it if someone spoke to her about keeping her mask in while she's working, to keep the customer safe along with the other ladies that are working with her and have some respect for them. read more

Albertsons is where my family and I have shopped since it's opened. Most employees are very helpful. Accept the hespanic older lady with short hair, she is so rude every time I come in. I've asked her to cut things in half for me, I've asked her to trim things and even season things and she always say's no or we don't do that, then stands there and stares at me with a dirty look till I walk away. Even if it's super bowl weekend and I i see her there I'll will walk out and try some where else. Never once has she said anything like, hello, how's it going, or even how can I help you. Went to get some things I needed. I saw a bag of shrimp. The tag said 11.99 but I checked after and my receipt said 25.98. I only come here for their clam chowder! It's mouth watering. Oh and the cupcakes ! All very delicious and affordable. Oh and the deli!!!!! Lol I usually the clam chowder hot from the soup bar, but today I am going to give the prepackaged one a try. . . . . Well this is a sad update to my happy earlier review. There were two men watching me shop around the store. Now I know being a women of color and Hispanic culture is always a problem, but really guys. Just be carful in the area of Glendora if you are Black or Hispanic (my Hispanic side of me probably would of been okay). Coronavirus is making everyone selfish and crazy, including Albertson's employees. My father waited for two hours for freaking toilet paper and was able to get only a pack of four rolls (we have a big family). Meanwhile, he watched as the employees walked out with big packages of toilet paper and not even limited to one or two, but like ten sometimes. It's great they care about their employees, but next time don't make people wait in line outside in the rain for two hours if you're just going to take the toilet paper anyway. Maybe limit it to one package so that other people in the neighborhood can buy something that's a necessity. read more

Damn.... This A-Sons deli makes my Vons look really ghetto. This store is awesome! I walk into their deli and am astounded: Olive bar, miles of aisles of cold cuts, salads, cheeses, all sorts of delicasies, a million kinds of mustard ranging from horseradish to beet.. like crazy gourmet. Their produce dept (HUGE) ain't no slouch either. They have everything. Is Glendora really that Gourmet? I guess so. I am taking off a star because I have once received some surly service in the Bakery by an older lady in there who doesn't seem too overjoyed to assist customers. Well, that's OK. The rest of this store is excellent, albeit a bit pricey. The fried chicken from the service is soooooooooooooooooooo good. AND they have an in-store Starbux. Albertson, and Vons are on a race to the bottom. Ever since they were acquired by an equity firm all their stores are on a major decline. Long lines , understaffed , expired products, wrong prices because of understaffing, long lines again etc... Im not gonna blame a store employee or store manager they have been put in a tough spot. Long lines is one thing ,but expired products by many many months sometimes a year ago expired i think its time for the health dept to inspect these stores more. I've been wanting write this for a while. I live right next door to this location, but honestly am tempted to go to a different grocery store farther away because of this issue. I no longer respect the Albertsons brand because of its brand promise "3's a crowd." I have never been to this location when it is less than 3 people in line - no matter what time, morning, midday, or night - there is always a "crowd" in every single register. The staff here is nice, but it's heavily understaffed. Albertsons either needs to do major work to this location and hire more employees or change their motto. It should be seen as a major issue when the lines extend past the aisles every time I go there. PLEASE FIX. read more

I come here fairly often because I work in the same shopping center as this Albertsons. It is sometimes a hit or a miss here. There will be days when there is only 2-3 registers open with LOOOOOONG lines and days where they have more than 3 opened. I frequently would come here for the habanero chicken and albertsins has dropped in quality almost overnight, the chicken is dry, and everytime I go now the signature habanero sauce has been non existent on the chicken for sometime. I ask for a side of sauce to actually flavor it and what does the deli lady say? "Sorry were out. " or.."we cant do thaat" . This is unacceptable for $8. Deli. The girl at the counter was very rude and was upset that I didn't order my chicken 24 hours in advance. Even though she had plenty of chicken to sell me she wouldn't and stated there's a 24 piece of chicken limit. Ridiculous what kind of company will not want to sell there inventory. I wanted to highlight an amazing employee at your Glendora, store by the name of Roberto G. I came to the bakery to pick up a large cupcake order with my two toddlers. Shopping with two young child is a difficult task, and one of them fell asleep so I had to carry him. With a toddler in my arms, another in my hand, and a large box of cupcakes to carry, I was overwhelmed. Roberto saw that I had my hands full and offered to help me with my shopping cart before I even asked for help. He even pushed my cart to my car and helped me load it. I was so grateful for his kindness. Anyone with little children knows how hard it is to even complete small every day task. My past experiences with this store has been positive. However, today I went in to purchase some shrimp, and found it as advertised. And the total price was way over what I had anticipated. The cashier Tom is new or something, and was unable to void the transaction. So he called the front end manager who did not have a name tag on. When I asked her why, she just said "it's a Friday deal". Aftetwards, she just voided the transaction and walked back to her register. The gentleman Grant went back and forth between the front end and the seafood department, along with Chris and Ray, who work in the department, honored the price due to a misplaced tag. And between this time, the front end manager went outside of the store. I then asked to voice my concern with the management. Missy was really courteous and friendly, as she listened closely to what I had to say and apologized. I felt bad because this was not her fault at all! Great customer service! If you like waiting in super long lines while the very few checkers are so overwhelmed and pay absolutely no attention to how long the line is, and don't call for help, then this is the place for you! Well where to start , multiple times the pull apart jalapeno bread has been raw in the center I brought this up to bakery and management and they just reply "oh ok" They took out self check out, now put in useless express since they rarely use it, and check out time, well thats 20- 45 mins just to reach the register. I shop at this Albertsons every week at least once. I've purchased alcohol almost every time. They have electronic pay options which makes it very convenient to purchase my groceries. Each time I purchase its a 50/50 chance they'll ask for my ID. This is SO frustrating because I use my phone to pay I don't grab my full wallet to shop. I get that it's a rule to ID people that look younger than a certain age. I don't look different from week to week. Each clerk does not uphold this rule and if this is a rule it should be across the board! I've had to leave alcohol behind or go out to my car to get my ID depending on who's doing the checking at the register and that is very inconvenient and offering electronic payment is supposed to make things more convenient! read more

Please bring back the self check out lanes or hire some people to man the express check out lanes. This store used to be so convenient to run in and buy the odd item. Now it is most assuredly not. It takes forever to get out of the store. The express lanes are often completely unmanned and I've never seen more than one register open when they are manned. Still incredibly slow service. Used to shop here so much and now avoided it unless absolutely necessary because I know it will take at least 30 minutes even for one or two items. BRING BACK SELF CHECK OUT OR PROPERLY STAFF THE STORE. In reading these reviews it seems like you are losing customers because of this and that is a slippery slope. read more

I recently ordered a bouquet from the florist and the arrangement was beautiful! An added plus, they have two indoor redbox kiosks and a Starbucks! This morning she helped me in the meat department and we got to chatting about the world and such, just small talk really... but I just have to say that talking with her brought tears to my eyes because she has such a KIND and beautiful soul. One star strictly for the service deli service. The two ladies who work there are ALWAYS rude/in a horrible mood. On top of that I went today and there was a 13 minute wait for chicken, not that big of a deal because there was a sale (BUT you'd think they'd prepare for a sale.) so I just ordered chicken strips instead. I came home and they are ROCK HARD. No one in my family is eating these without breaking their teeth. I am a former service deli worker (for Fullerton albertsons) and it's obvious this chicken has been sitting there way past the allotted time there's no other explanation for it to be this hard. Floral department only a week before graduation I ordered three dozen balloons gold, the night before graduation I called and verified the order, was verified. Arrived to pick up the Balloons day of graduation, the order form was sitting on the counter in the floral department. Order hadn't been filled for three dozen balloons, produce manager spoke with me and my son about the balloons nothing was ever done, no balloons for grad party. produce Manager wanted to come in next day for gift card? Didn't offer replacement balloons that day of the party. Semi reason I was given by produce mgr why order wasn't filled? " 3 dozen balloons that's like 50 dollars?" I go to Albertsons every single day and this is extremely disappointing to me, will never use the floral dept again. Fried to get some balloons on the spur of the moment just so we'd have a few balloons, they were all picked over and the Produce Manager couldn't use the helium tank.
