I arrived at the pharmacy at 6:11 and the pharmacy tech was assisting someone cashing them out at the register and advise me that they close at 6 PM. Liz in the pharmacy helped me get situated with my grandmas medi medi insurance verification which was a life safer. She has such a pleasant disposition and is extremely patient. Hit and miss, I usually come in on Mondays... won't ever come on Wednesday again! Inez, the pharmacy tech here said me they close at 9 about 4 times more than I needed to hear. She has nothing but condescending attitude. She called to verify the prescription with the hospital for my mother in law, she was so rude and entitled. She's calling an emergency room, she should know that there are many more priorities in an ER than verifying a rx. Gave them so much attitude and was so snobby after the call, speaking ill of whom ever she spoke with on the phone. I came to hopefully get my second COVID vaccine as well and she just shut me down none after 8. When I initially got my vaccine about a quarter till closing (9) and the techs the night I came in were more than willing to be help and pharmacist was actually interested in helping. Tonight the pharmacist was a jerk and said more vaccines after eight I tried to explain that I'm not able to make it before 8 and I was previously told it's okay. He didn't allow me to finish and instead reiterated that no more after 8. Again condescending attitude and no will to actually care for a patient. Cindi the other pharmacy tech who was also here when I got my first vaccine, looked at me like if she was sorry and she knows the difference in the care from this encounter to my previous. I will be needing boosters soon and don't know if I'll come back here incase I'll encounter these two again. read more

The pharmacist now has to walk you through to make sure you are receiving the correct prescription. Great, I have gotten the wrong meds before. Makes it safer. Why the 3 Stars?. The pharmacist is just that, the pharmacist, fill the prescription and move on. Is it her task to do a five minute medical consultation to second guess the doctor on the medicine being prescribed? Attendants are nice in store but over the phone pharmacy assistant is rude! Just called in to see if a referral could be faxed to my primary for meds I pick up every month and was on the last refill and the girl starting yelling at me that I didn't call it into the pharmacy so they didn't have any request in the system for me....duh! That's why I'm calling to see if they could do it. Didn't even get the girl's name cause she rushed through the call. Having experience working in a medical office this type of behavior does nothing to improve customer satisfaction. read more

I refilled my prescription through their app. For the first few days it said there was a problem with the price. Then it said it was ready so I went in the next day. When I got there the cashier told me that they put it back on the shelf. It had been 8 days. She then said my insurance did not cover it and it was $1500. I asked her when they contacted my doctor so I could call his office. She told me that my insurance suggested my other medication that I was already taking? I told her I had been on that birth control for years and it has nothing to do with ulcerative colitis. I called my doctor and they said they would call the pharmacy. Within a few minutes I got a notification through the app that my prescription was filled and waiting for a pharmacist to check it. I walked around the store for another 10 minutes and it notified me that the prescription was out of stock. read more

I was sitting down in front ane she came to me to ask my name and info just in case it came up early, very appreciated. Pharmacist also explains your medications dosages etc. Which I don't have patience for but it's still a nice sentiment. :) read more

RE: Glendora, CA Walmart - If I could go lower than one star I would. KWAME the pharmacist is the ABSOLUTE WORST pharmacist I have ever encountered. I have worked in healthcare for over 10 years so I have a pretty good understanding of how insurance works. Kwame CONSISTENTLY screws up my prescriptions! I am usually generous with my compliments and low-key with my complaints but he has a God complex and thinks he knows what I need better than my PCP and never follows the orders of my physician. When confronted about this, he lies, even when I have confirmed his conversation with my doctor. Over the last year he has frequently shown his inability to think logically, deduce critically or behave in the best interest of patients. If you want your Rx done correctly, go elsewhere! Walmart is not worth the hassle. read more

Been giving this place a chance for years since my mom likes the cheaper price of her prescription. People who work here are rude and have zero customer service. Especially the lady who rings you up when picking up your prescription. The prescription is almost never ready at the time you are told and then they make it seem like it's your fault. Lastly, they are closed for lunch... Although their hours are posted time-time (let's say 10-5). There is a small paper that lets you know they are closed during the posted hours (like 1-2:15) for lunch (and then they are late coming back from lunch. So basically inconvenient, inconsiderate, incompetent pharmacy. I'm making my mom switch her prescriptions to another pharmacy who actually care about their customers and aren't just another Walmart sucker. I would also like to add Walmart parking sucks, it's always packed with shopping carts everywhere so you can't move through the store. Just a big stress to even step foot into the store. Now that we are switching pharmacies, I have zero reason to come to Walmart. read more
