We've been waiting over a week for a response regarding critical medications, and still no one has followed up. Today, someone finally answered our call -- a girl who spoke so quietly, she was impossible to hear even with the volume turned all the way up. When I asked her to repeat what she said, she just went silent and hung up. After that, every time we call, we're being redirected straight to voice mail. This kind of behavior is absolutely unprofessional and completely unacceptable -- especially when we are talking about people's health and potentially life-threatening delays. read more

Premier Pharmacy (which was acquired) was great. Polaris Specialty Pharmacy is awful. My issues started back in Nov. 2024 when I requested a refill and they denied it. Admittedly, this was a communication error between my doctor and I in regards to what my dose amount should have been. It was settled immediately and my doctor's office submitted a new "urgent" script to Polaris. In the following days, Polaris still denied my request for a refill, claiming they didn't receive anything from my doctor and I should contact them again. This claim was an apparent lie as my nurse practitioner called Polaris and confirmed they did receive my script but turned it down, and they couldn't give her a reason as to why (biggest red flag ever). When I finally did get a script delivered, it was the old WRONG one. Last month's prescriptions were never delivered and no representative ever responded to my attempted outreaches. My messages turned from blue to green and no longer say delivered (?) so maybe they blocked me. I ditched them today for another pharmacy. Overall: Communication was all over the place, they got scripts wrong, my doctor's office called them "sketchy" and you're better off using another provider. read more

They were amazing during the pandemic. It appears as though there has been a shift in management or ownership. I have been waiting for four days for my medication, and the service I was once accustomed to has completely evaporated. I could list out exactly what has transpired recently, but the short of it is that it seems as though the company I once trusted can no longer be trusted. I have reached out to Stephen Samuel, the CEO of Premier Pharmacy to see what can be done to rectify this issue. I am very disappointed. Premier Pharmacy used to work great generally speaking; since the Polaris change thing, it has been the absolute worse. They took an extremely long time to work on my insurance approval of my med, with no communication to me except one initial phone call. They mailed me a form to sign and mail back to them (it is 2024... we have eSign...). Over a month to get approval. Then today the package was finally supposed to arrive - I said I wasn't going to be home but they said the mailbox counts as secure delivery. Well they didn't leave it in the mailbox and instead asked my neighbors to sign for it. So now I have to wait for my neighbors to get my package. read more

They say they will deliver my medicine by 9pm. It still hasn't come. When I call they apologize and swear it will be delivered by the end of the day. This has gone on all week and I still have not got my medicine. They must be overloaded with work because it has been 4 days of this and I still do not have my medicine. So I was having the same issue contacting this pharmacy over the phone ... I also spent over an hour trying to contact them and so did my insurance . I decided to drive down to baldwin park to their location and was guided and helped out by the nicest people . I mentioned the phone thing to them and found out they had no idea , called the number and it just wasn't going through on their end so turned out it was some technical phone issue that hadn't been brought up to their attention as most people thought they were being ignored and there was no other way than to drive there to communicate this to them. By now I would hope their lines are functional again. Anyways, the awesome experience I had when I visited that day was great and they were able to hand be my meds that same day . all was done within 30-35 minutes . They were just so genuinely eager to help that I wasnt upset about the phone issue anymore . When I moved to California my brother was aware that I required advanced and multiple prescriptions filled every month, and have had for many years. He told me about a pharmacy that delivered to your door, and his personal technician was incredibly personable and efficient. Well, that was all I needed to hear!. I have been using Premier Pharmacy for several years now, and they do an excellent job. Medications arrive on time, the go the extra mile to get any last minute changes taken care of, and personal attention to your needs are met with care. I was referred to this pharmacy because they are 24/7 with delivery wherever you are. I travel a lot and that's a plus for me. Also, the staff is amazing mostly the girl who takes care of me and my boyfriend GABBY! Terrible experience. Have been using them for 4 years but in the past year they have been very very very bad with delivering meds on time. This is isn't the first time I've been left without medication because of their negligence. All my meds are in refill and my account is up to date with insurance and co payments. I highly recommend PREMIER PHARMACY . They are very knowledgeable about complicated prescriptions. One of their pharmacists is ALMA who is very profesional and excellent customer service manners. I had a problem with one of my prescriptions which WALGREENS didn't know how to charge to an insurance that I have. Alma was recommended by a 2 NDA party . I called her and in a matter of minutes the issue was resolved not only that but the prescription was sent to my address the same day at no cost to me whatsoever. I just fired Premier Pharmacy today and transferred all of my monthly required medications to my local CVS pharmacy. Premier was my pharmacy for the last ten years...but no longer. For the last 6 plus months regular delivery service has become increasingly broken. The automatic delivery of my meds has become more erratic to the point that today I ran out of my essential HIV meds at this moment in time when there is a World Wide Pandemic. Due to my HIV status I am deemed a higher risk for infection. I literally am not willing to play Russian roulette with my life at this time and become a victim of this pharmacy's broken promises. read more

I have worked at Premier Pharmacy for about 3 years. Its a horrible place to work at. You will get over worked and underpaid. You will get in trouble for something you didn't do. Managers promise you things they don't mean. They will promise you a raise then come up with an excuse not to give it to you. The CEO will literally scream at you the vice presidents will call you stupid because they think they know the department you work at but they don't. They literally go around telling there employees to write them a good review since nobody wants to work there. New staff don't get training so they quit after a few days. if you desperately need a job work here but leave as soon as you can. Fyi they hire anyone. read more

Definitely recommend Premier Pharmacy Services! I had the most difficult time finding a specific brand of medication for my grandma. I called over 10 pharmacies who either told me they were unable to assist or made it seem like it was a hassle to help me out. But not Premier. They were able to fulfill my request with no hesitation and they were also able to get it to us the next day! I've been with Premier since they opened their doors. Alma Chavez is my rep and extremely personable. It's great to deal with someone in customer service that treats you as a human being and as an individual.
