Messy store. Workers not really that helpful. Seen better Walgreens. Very hard to find items that I'm looking for.

Its a ok store, did not hv most of what i came for and prices are almost doubled what you'd pay at competitive stores, also I did not care at all for the "we're watching you but trying to pretend we're in the same exact same aisles you're in" ....feeling i kept having as a **black person** just trying to shop. Extremely difficult to get a simple medication called in / filled. Took several days, was dumb. I feel the service could be better than it was. They were lacking, not helpful. Would not recommend this location. Judging by the other reviews, it seems to be a store issue / company issue. read more

Went to print photos. Was having a difficult time with the self-serve kiosk. Asked the floor manager (rude young guy) for help. His response was, "if it isn't working, it isn't working." I replied with a sarcastic, "thanks you, you're very helpful." To this he was snarky and said I was welcome and gave a nice day. ZERO customer service skills. I eventually received help from an even younger female associate. SHE should be floor manager. I think her name was, Yajira (sp). I wish I had names. But I will not be ca k to this location for any reason. Would rather go to the nearby CVS. read more

I have to retract my older review. Their pharmacy department is way beyond bad. So bad it just colors the whole experience for this store. I tried. I even gave them an out. Yet they broke my heart twice today. Here's why- I left my prescription to be filled, was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I had things to do so I came back 3 hrs later to pick it up only to be told that they have to verify w/ the doctor after 2:30 pm, how much to dispense because the dosage wasn't specified. Mind you it was 2:35 pm when I was at the drive through & they still haven't called her to verify. So if I didn't come by then they wouldn't have remembered to call. The worst part is how come I was not called that there was a problem? They have my number. So it's ok for me to make the extra trip just to find out it's not ready? (Big sigh!). Anyway, the tech said she'll call the doctor to verify and she will call me when it's ready. That was 3 hours 15 minutes ago. So I decided to give them a call just to see what's the hold up. Lo and behold! It's ready. "Yes, you may come over to pick it up it SHOULD be ready by now." REALLY?!?!?! Hmmm?!?!?! I wonder why I never got the call? Really deep sigh, deeper than the Deep South, such disbelief and inexplicable feelings of such let down. TOTAL FAIL! I'll make the drive to the Walgreens in the next city for my business next time around. read more

Went in to return a redbox and browsed around for some items that were on clearance that I seen on the coupon community on Instagram. There were school supplies on clearance and I overheard the asst mgr tell another associate that there was a certain item for .49cents. So I walked over and asked him which one was that clearance item and he very RUDELY said " there are no more" and walked away. JERK!! This Walgreens has some of the rudest associates, there are only two that are very professional and courteous. I will get their names next time. This Walgreens is within walking distance that's why I guess I tolerate it. read more

Love this store, so conveniently placed in my neighborhood and very accessible. Loved that everyone greets you when you walk in, it's so welcoming. Prices could be better but I'll compensate for the convenience and great customer service. Definitely a drugstore I frequently going to visit. P.S. the pharmacy and staff is outstanding. read more

I dont know what all these complaints are about for this location. I was greeted and helped right away by nice employees. Took my mom (87 yrs) for her first cocid 19 vaccine. Mrs Zarate was super helpful and nice. Tran gave my mom her vaccine with no issues. This is not the first time I take my mom her for her vaccines, the pharmacy is always very nice. read more

Really bad service and bad attitude from the people here I drop off my request for prescription and not only they told me that it'll take 2 hours to pull the medication out. Where do I call and complain about these pharmacy people? Wow this staff is horrible!! The girls are beyond rude. I can't even explain the rudeness of these people. They swear, they act like we bother them when we come pick up medicine .... news flash it's your JOB to help. If I could grab the medicine myself trust me I wouldn't come to you. However, a young man named Jonathan is extremely a great employee who gave 100% customer service and is truly friendly! Convenient location from home. Too bad not 24hr... the place is always well lit, neat and organized and always stock up on the typical necessities. What you would expect from a good and decent drugstore. The pharmacist is helpful and friendly. I never seen a long line here for filling your prescription. This location is great! However customer service is so bad! The first time I came the worker was rude. She was talking to her co-worker and I was waiting in line over 5 minutes... I did inform her I was there, but she just ignored me. I held my review because thinking it was just a bad day. I came to this location to get my flu shot the day before I went to the location in Arcadia. As you walk in, its messy. Things where they dont belong, and what I mean by that is for example, toys in the food area (customers left it in that aisle) which means the employees arent making their rounds putting items back where they belong. So I go back to the pharmacy area, walk up to the counter tell the lady I wanted a flu shot. She asked me to give her a minute as they just got power back on (windy day, and power went out). Ok that's understandable. So Im waiting around. 5 mins later shes not back. Another pharmacy asks if I need help, yes I want to get a flu shot. So he tells me to to fill out the paper work (which the lady should have given me and I could have filled it out as I waited). I fill it out and wait. Then power shuts off again. The 2 of them start telling people they cant fill Rx or check for them as the computers are off. They tell me that they can give me the shot but I need to pay cash. Sorry - dont have cash on me. I walked out after about 30 mins, still vunerable to the flu virus. No stars taken off for the power outage, as it wasn't their fault. But definitely unorganized and unprepared for it. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever. They give you the run around dont refill medication fully always giving partials. Then over charging. Why don't they stock up on 90 days order supply if they know a customer gets refills every 90 days. They don't know math or what they're doing. The only reason I gave 1 star was because the young lady I spoke to first was nice, otherwise I'd give them none. Pharmacy manager RUBEN MALDONADO is rude. I called the pharmacy to find out about my mom's prescription being shorted about 35 pills. I spoke to a young lady, who was nice by the way and she tried to explain the reason. She then put this Jerk, Ruben on the phone and he tried to explain this flex program offered to seniors which aligns the medication in order to limit the amount of trips made to the pharmacy. This method "misaligns" my mom's medications. Now instead of going once a month to refill her prescription, I have to go twice a month. He said someone agreed to this and this is why my mother is on this plan. Well news flash Ruben, I am her caregiver and I never agreed to this BS method. I repeatedly told Ruben that this doesn't make sense and I've never had this issue before. He was getting irritated with me and attempted to cut me off by saying (with attitude), well what do you want to do then? I called him out on his rudeness, told him to cancel this so-called flex plan and asked for his name. He then asked rudely if there was anything else. I said yes and asked for Walgreen's corporates office's phone number. He said he didn't have it and for me to look it up. RUBEN MALDONADO should not be working as a manager and I WILL be writing and calling in a formal complaint to corporate. All the years I've been going to this pharmacy, I've never experienced such rudeness from an employee, let alone a manager. This guy has no business being a manager. So I went to the pharmacy to get a flu shot. The pharmacists were really really nice, especially Beatriz (I think that was her name!). I'm on a really tight budget right now cuz I went back to school again. I asked them to check if my flu shot was covered and said I would only get it if I did not have to pay anything since it was free at school. It took them awhile to get the authorization because my insurance was giving them a hard time. They were nice about it, but they failed to tell me that I had to pay for the flu shot so now I have to pay this nice bill on a a student's budget. Great. Not planning on going back here. read more

A couple of days ago i went into the walgreens store in baldwin park and ramona and had to return some stuff i bought. the store manager name ted kountouris helped me and was being very friendly. at first i was comfortable with this friendly environment. turns out he was to friendly. he then started asking me some questions instead of helping me with my return. i then told him i was in a hurry and he then started to ask me some perverted questions. i called the corporate for a complaint and they told me they will investigate it. the day i went back in because i did not get my receipt and ted the store manager came to me and was trying to be friendly and asked for my number, i told him i was married and he said he did not mind.. i definetely would not ever go to that store again.. read more
