His original shop was in Baldwin Park, but due to the pandemic he moved here. Hopefully West Covina supports this small business because they deserve all the Amazon, Ulta and Sally's customers. The store has many of the popular hair product brands and hair color. I even found Glo Minerals makeup which I used to love but many places don't sell it. I'm no expert but I do know you are supposed to bleach hair to a certain level depending on how bright of a red you want. She bleached my hair to a *blond so when she colored my hair with the magenta the outcome was a red/orange color. On top of that she left black spots on a side. Gentlemen, they sell Suavecito -- just saying. Tons of hair products! I normally don't buy hair products because I'm typically a hair gel and blow dryer type of guy, but this is the type of store where you can really learn about products. The gentleman tending the store really knows his stuff too. He told me which product would work best on natural dark hair, and which products would help to intensify the color. Don't EVER come here for hair service. I had the worst experience here. Very unprofessional. I booked an appointment and when I came in I was told I didn't have an appointment. Luckily they still took me but it was rather pointless considering the hair stylist half assed everything. You'd think something as simple as a flat iron would be the first thing a stylist knows how to do. WRONG! My roots were still curly and she didn't dry my hair thoroughly so all you heard was my hair sizzling the whole time. Secondly, I asked for two inches to be cut. Well she decided to not part my hair into sections when she cut it and literally cut my hair straight across with scissors and said okay you're done. HORRIBLE!!!
