I visited this cvs at 1550 Puente Ave, Baldwin Park,CA for the first time because it's right next door to where my Grandma is being treated . I grabbed two packs of makeup wipes along with other items to hit a deal, but I accidentally picked the wrong count -my mistake . The next day I stopped in while at the hospital Nextdoor and asked the woman at the front with black hair if I could adjust the price. I'd only need to pay a few more dollars more to get the correct count and still receive the cashback offer. She just said , "OH , do you have a receipt?" I explained I'd bought it yesterday at this location and this is a simple fix. CVS is supposed to be customer service driven - what else are you doing here? Then she said she'd need to look up my account . Yes , that's literally your job. Another employee came over and started speaking to her in Spanish . I'm bilingual- I understand both Spanish and English but I choose English. Then I heard another worker scoff when she leaned what I wanted . First and last time at this location. I'll stick to the one located in Diamond Bar . It's 24 hours and the staff is actually pleasant. read more

Came in looking for an OTC medicine. Showed it was online. Went in, aisles empty. I asked the staff member, and she advised they had just been robbed earlier that day. Horrible. A shame what has happened to the city. These stores and staff members need more assistance and assurance that they are safe and also as customers too, to make sure it's safe to shop. read more

I was waiting in line for more than 15 minutes to pick up my photo panel which they sent me a confirmation that it was ready to pick up since 5PM. It's 6:35PM now. But this lady who she claimed herself as store manager was so rude to tell me that my photo panel was not ready, so I have to wait for another 30 minutes which was very ridiculous since they usually call me non-stop if I don't come to pick up my stuff within a week. I'm very disappointed since this store is so close to my house. Maybe I should start shopping & printing my photos at Walmart instead. And there was another old lady told me that they were extremely busy, but she could have say the word "Sorry" let me do it for you right away. They both were very unprofessional and lack of customer services. read more

My experience with the front store cashier and assistant at this CVS was absolutely disappointing. Their rude and dismissive behavior made it clear they lack the basic courtesy and professionalism expected in customer service. I will never return to this location for any in-store purchases. From now on, I'll only use the drive-thru for pharmacy needs--at least there, the service is more reliable. It's no surprise that the front store generates less revenue than the pharmacy if this is the standard of customer care. I've never met a more unprofessional and rude manager, than George or Jorge, however you spell his name. This store is very unkempt and out of stock of multiple things. If the store itself already made me not want to return, the manager solidified it. This CVS store has been kind to me, no major problems or issues. Few years back, they had an older lady working here, she never smiled, had a personality of wet cardboard, and when she worked the register, she was so, sooo, sooooo sloooow. Haven't seen her in awhile, so hopefully she's gone. There is only one improvement that I can think of, and that's improving my chaces of winning the Lottery, when I buy my tickets here. Other than that, stores good, pharmacy's good, and the workers, friendly and helpful. What more can you expect, or ask for? read more

We came via drive through to fill a prescription after a dental procedure (removal of 4 wisdom tooth) for an antibiotic and narcotic. Gave insurance card, phone number and address. As I arrived home, received a call 10 minutes later to pick up the prescription because they don't have the narcotic on stock. Arrived via drive through again to get the prescription and inquired if they can find out from other branches if they have those meds available and she said she cannot. At this time of CORONA- economy where social distancing and self isolation is a must and all business places are wanting to attract customers, this is a bad experience for a customer. #1 - cvs pharmacy had me come back to pick up the prescription in less than 20min because they don't have the medication. Why can't you find out the moment I dropped off my prescription so I didn't have to waste my time. #2 - cvs pharmacy cannot find out if other branches have this medication on stock. Which means I have to go treasure hunt other pharmacies hoping I get lucky to get the prescription filled. Hoping and praying with the best of luck that the anesthesia from the procedure doesn't wear off soon. Small efforts goes a long way, but so far I haven't seen or experienced anything special from this pharmacy over the years. The main reason why I keep coming back here is because of it's close proximity to the house. But because of this experience I don't think I'll mind driving the extra mile to Walmart to fill our prescription and also as a one stop shop for groceries, optical services and many more. The guy is lazy, he doesn't want to key in the bar code which has instructions on the coupon on my phone, he insisted I must bring the printed coupon! I went to this place again . The lady at the register told me my total was 11.69. I count 69cent first then pulled out $10 and $1 dollar bill . She put the two quarters in the draw while she was talking to someone. She told me I owe 50 cents. I said I already gave to her . She insisted no . She said she wouldn't lie about 50cents neither did I. So I was going to give her 50cents to finish it. Worst drive thru pharmacy service. Told me 45 mins...so i waited in the parking lot and for my text that it was ready. 1hr i pulled up with no text....oh guess what ?IT WAS READY!!!!! Visited this store a few times and noticed there is always a LONG line, as there is only 1 register opened at any giving time. Ordered some photos online with same day pick up service. Only to found out the pictures ( 49 copies) were all cut incorrectly, people's head were cut off from the top edge. I checked the original file and the online album again, the pictures look prefect.... The staff insisted it was my fault and unwilling to check their file or offer any help. The manager did processed the refund, but it was totally waste of my time. I should have sent it to Walgreens or Costco! read more

Terrible drop off a basic MOTRIN prescription. Was told it would be a 2 hour wait (let's blame it on the whole COVID-19) at first I said I would take it elsewhere, considering I'm in pain. Manager is unprofessional and rude, went inside the store with my two daughters, my daughter got interrogated by Linda Ramos, while paying at the cash register with her, Linda began to raise her voice at my daughter asking her about body sprays she was looking at earlier, my daughter is only 13 , this was an adult yelling and accusing a child of stealing with no evidence, i reminded Linda that my daughter is only a child and she had no right to raise her voice at my daughter , her response was , " oh I didn't know she was a kid" this behavior is unacceptable , will not be coming back to this store. read more

CVS, My name is Carlos Aguilar and I'm a longtime customer of CVS Pharmacies. I'm writing to inform you of a procedural problem that plagues your CVS stores nationwide. I'm hoping you might provide some rationale and settle my troubled mind. My local CVS has 5 cash registers but customers are required to stand in one line that feeds into the five. This is a problem for at least two reasons: 1) this system leads to confusion and 2) wastes time. Since the vast majority of supermarkets utilize multiple lines for multiple registers, it should come as little surprise that your customers are tempted to head for the register with little or no line. This reasonable action, though, is likely to be met with the frustrated grumblings of people standing in ONE long line (often snaking into one of the neighboring aisles). Arguments, in my neighborhood at least, are sure to follow. Additionally, precious seconds are wasted when customers are (sometimes) required to walk the length of the store to the next available register. Doesn't it make most sense to line up in front of the register of your choice? Aren't you robbing the average customer of a long-standing American tradition: Guessing which cashier moves the fastest? While the DMV uses your method its clear they are exacting some perverse revenge on the taxpayers. Why CVS adopts similar methods is beyond me. Please help me understand. I'd also take a 12 pack of Pepsi as I was forced to leave CVS without my drug of choice (caffeine) because of a potential brawl with some local bikers intent on policing your ONE LINE policy. The speed bumps, could they be any taller? It feels like I'm going over curbs onto sidewalks. This isn't in the most savory of areas, but it's convenient for where I've been working the past week. The place is pretty large and they have a good deal of sale items, but some of the items look questionable in terms of quality and freshness. I can't help but wonder how long some of them have been on the shelves. The worst part of this place is the line. I've been here 4 times and not once did I wait in line less than 7 minutes. I don't understand why it took 15 minutes to take care of 3 cars in front of me on the drive thru but I had to wait 9 minutes before the took care of me. I saw there were only 3 staff but I expected approximately 5 minutes for pick up per customer. This was not the first time I've waited while there were no other customers but they look busy. I think customers service is first and whatever task they have can wait. I'm seriously considering changing pharmacy even though I've been coming here for 6 years. read more

Cvs has a new check out policy if you have to make two transactions you can pay for the first one and the second one you have to get in line again to pay for it. This is the most ridiculous new policy I ever heard of. There was no one in the store and only one person in line and the cashier would not check me out.
