Bleh. There is a CVS store near my house in my hometown, and it is a glorious CVS. Fully stocked shelves, wonderful and helpful employees, and a fabulous selection of products arranged neatly for my viewing pleasure. Shame on me, thinking that all CVS locations would be as wonderful as the one I am accustomed to when I'm home for the weekend from college. This CVS was poorly stocked. There were misplaced items strewn everywhere. Dust coated many of their products. The employee who scanned my items looked like she was miserable and hated her job. I definitely won't be coming back. We just came in here to get some clearance items. They had a larger selection than what was left at the Northwood one. There was only one cashier at the time, so it went slowly. The cashier that I interacted with was kind of social and talked about what I bought. It's already pretty annoying that Amazon has the option to post what you just bought to Facebook, and what if I bought something more sensitive like laxatives? I don't want to socialize about that. read more

Pharmacy: I have never had a bad experience at this pharmacy. Everyone is so nice and helpful. One of the pharmacists, Abby always helpful. Who is the GM/general manager of this store? The on site manager I had the displeasure of interacting with last night (bitter guy with tattoos all over his arms) was extremely rude. I don't usually post reviews, but I have to say this pharmacy was so unhelpful. I waited 4 days for the COVID-19 medication pavlovix to be filled and they never filled it. They stated they had to call my doctor and confirm some health issues and that I truly had a positive test-- even though I had already submitted those items to my doctor to receive the prescription. They never called me to let me know it was taking this long, they only followed up with my doctor once and just didn't do anything since they didn't hear back from them. I don't see how filling a prescription here is helpful when they do not follow up as they explained they needed to, they did not notify me of the delays, and they were incredibly unhelpful throughout the whole process. Due to their incompetency, I had to forego the medication that could have helped me recover a lot faster. Never again will I send an RX here and I would not recommend sending anything if you are in a hurry to recover quickly. read more

Pharmacy Review : Long time customer of CVS. I'm generally a big supporter of small, local pharmacies, but when I'm away from home /on the go. They are the only company that hasn't managed to mess up my prescription orders, especially when transferring Rx. Pharmacy staff : Had a great experience using CVS here right after my doctor appts. Dropped off my 2 Rx slips, ready in 15-20 minutes top! Super easy drive through process. Friendly staff, but more importantly, EFFICIENT. I went by at 12 noon on the dot and regardless of it being a lunch hour, the pharmacy staff had absolutely no issue pushing the process along. :) read more

The pharmacy is understaffed, the drive up window is a nightmare. Management is horrible. Avoid the store at all cost.

I frequent CVS over Rite Aid and am a fan however this location is disappointing. It is poorly laid out and they generally are not well stocked. I find it to be poorly managed as well. I must admit there are a few employees who are friendly especially the short cut blonde hair girl, she is super nice. If it was not close to my work during lunch, I would not come in. read more

Good store, nice staff, efficient but busy pharmacy. The problem with this CVS is the disheveled solicitors who set up a card table and a chair every day next to the entrance and ask for money, ostensibly for some charity. They are an uncomfortable nuisance with the way they hit you up whenever you enter or exit the store. CVS should ask them to move farther from the entrance so customers are not forced to be subjected to unwanted approaches. read more

This pharmacy gave me a new medicine did not indicate to me that they were giving me a new generic generic brand they did not work I went home and noticed it I tried it it made me sick I explain to them that this generic brand is making me sick it does not work the rude lady Maidi was very rude condescending and told me to take it until next month I asked her why would I take this medicine until next month if it's making me sick she should switch it out if my medication is changing she should inform me said well we have to give you whatever we get or order I told her I cannot except whatever you order at that time you need to be consistent she is very rude very unprofessional and do not care about no one's health. The technician failed to tell me she couldn't contact my doctors office and instead had me wait while I was in excruciating pain having a dislocated shoulder & fracture. This might be the CVS store with the best customer service I've been to. The moment I walked in I was greeted and asked what I needed. I was directed to the aisle of my desired product instead of wasting time and searching myself. The moment I stood in line to pay for my product, the cashier called for another employee to open a register so I wouldn't wait. It is very unfortunate to give this store a 1 star rating as there are some pretty nice employees here at this location. However, my encounter with Kelly (Assistant Manager) this Sunday truly justifies my rating for the store. She is very unprofessional and rude. I would highly recommend that Kelly gets further training in how to properly deal with customers; it amazes me that she is Assistant Manager as she seems very unaware of CVS store policies and how she continuously lies/makes up policies on the fly. Horrible experience at the PHARMACY!!!!!! Second time that Me and my sister went to this stupid Pharmacy waiting to drop off a prescription and not being acknowledged waiting for about 20 minutes. They don't even look busy and yet they don't see me standing right in front of them!!! I stopped by 40 min before they closed which gives them plenty of time to give me my prescription but half the time I was waiting!!! Then the Asian lady which didn't even say hi asked if I am here to drop off like she was confused to why I was standing in front of the drop off!!!!! Are you serious?? This place is pretty small and dirty! Although the employees were there to help you and nice, it did not make up for the amount of empty shelves they had. I went in to get my medicine and they told me to wait about 20 minutes even though nobody was in the store! I waited and walked to the fridge section to see which beers they had but they didn't have the one I wanted. Liquor selection is poor too. Sucks this is the closest one to my house read more

First time here. Came in after my dentist appointment around 11am. Only 2 employees working. Phone was ringing off the hook. I had to wait in line for 20 mins before I could give them my prescription. Then it took and another 30 mins to get my prescription. What a waste of time wasted all morning at the pharmacy. In my experience, the pharmacy has always been quick and efficient. I will go in at random times to fill my Rx and am usually in and out in 5 minutes. The pharmacists and techs are usually friendly and courteous, what more can you ask for? read more

For some reason, this pharmacy NEVER has my refills. I have no idea why. This pharmacy is so disorganized and every time I make sure to have my information in the system, with my prescriptions, etc., whenever I check back to get my refills, it's like they never entered anything in the first place. I typically don't expect really good service in drug stores but their cashier, Alli, has exceptional customer service. She went above and beyond to find out prices and specials when I asked and always responded with a sincere "no problem." She was greeted everyone that came in and never appeared flustered even though it seemed like she was getting busy. Very impressive young woman. read more

This store was remodeled and everything had been rearranged. It seems like it is much more organized which is great. The customer service has also seemed to improve. An employee came up to me almost immediately and asked me if there was anything he could help me look for. I actually did need help finding something and he found it right away without hesitation. I definitely think they've made some big improvements :). It looks like they might have a drive thru pharmacy now... I will have to check to make sure, but that would be convenient! read more

Terrible service, never had a problem using the hour photo at a CVS before besides this one. The lady ahead of me had gift cards that were never activated so that tipped me off right away this place does not have their stuff together, Dee Dee was unable to resolve her problem. I placed an order specifically an hour in advance and received a confirmation email that my photos would be done or at least STARTED within an hour from that time. Not the case. Arrived and asked for my photo order to be told there was no order placed by Dee Dee. So annoying. I told her I had an email confirmation and the employee told me it "didn't come through" and I told her I ordered it. Suddenly she found it and had to start it herself. No apology or anything. She was in a rush to go to lunch I overheard so she was not in the mood for helping anyone. The guy she rang up behind me she doubled up his ring ins and had to redo it. I had to stand and wait for my photos which normally I wouldn't have cared but I was on break from school and only had an hour to get back. I told her if it was going to take more than 10 minutes I couldn't wait. She said that it would be quick and a "couple minutes" for 150 photos. She offered a discount to me by telling another employee to ring me up while she went to lunch. I don't need a discount I want my photos. Ridiculous. Don't tell me I didn't order photos when I clearly did. I am ALL about customer service and Dee Dee apparently doesn't know what she is doing or just doesn't care. Like previously mentioned, this location had been remodeled and I have noticed positive changes towards better customer service. It's much larger and has a drive through for the pharmacy and is nice for a Cvs, but still just a plain old CVS. read more

Pharmacy staff is GREAT. I have officially switched all of my medicine, my husbands, and my sons to this pharmacy. The pharmacist is always beyond helpful, and is also very happy, funny and positive. I like feeling that he loves what he is doing, and I am not bothering him with my questions. Because of his great attitude, the rest of the pharmacy staff is also in great spirit. I have a 6 month old baby, and they were so nice and sweet when I brought him in at 3 months old. I was so tired of other places where the pharmacist is rude, hurrying, and seems annoyed. This place is a breath of fresh air! Also, I agree that since their remodel, they must be refocusing on customer service, because even the CVS staff in the store part, are more than helpful now. Wow! I'm so impressed with my last visit to CVS. I go here regularly and the staff is always super friendly and helpful, especially in the pharmacy, but throughout the entire store as well. George, the pharmacist is such a nice guy every time he helps me with a consultation or whatever. Tonight, however, both George and the tech Elley (I believe that is how his name is spelled) totally went above and beyond. I am sick and had a problem with my insurance for some medication I needed to feel better. After attempting to reach the doctor's office after hours, as well as trying to figure out any way they could help me, George said he would call the doctor first thing in the morning to get it straightened out. Although I didn't expect to sleep much without the medication, I was still grateful for all George and Elley did to try to help. As I was driving home, George called me. They continued to try to problem solve my situation for me and had gotten it all straightened out! I came back and got my prescription and already am feeling better. I'm so grateful for the two of them to have taken so much time, even after I had left, to find a solution for me. That's not something you see every day! Lauren, a extremely friendly cashier always is kind and courteous and says hello when I walk in. She remembers who I am and I feel welcomed whenever I come to the CVS. Orlando, one of the managers, was also extremely helpful on my last visit when my Extra Care coupons for not working he had them inputted manually in order for me to receive my discounts and did so in a timely fashion. This store is a great CVS the pharmacy is wonderful George the pharmacist is awesome and they always are quick to fill my prescriptions and the store is cleanly as well so all things are great, including the parking. Located next to Ralphs in the shopping center is very easy to see from the street with ease and parking and plenty of it shopping here and getting prescriptions filled here is convenient. Also this CVS offers a drive-thru window and they offer the pay as you go on there and when you can have your card uploaded to the app and have them scan it in ordered to pay... which is pretty cool in case you forget your wallet like I do sometimes :-) read more
