Finally got to taste the CV Barbecue RIBS after missing out (they ran out at the BBQ Festival last year) and I have wanted to try them ever since then. I am NOT disappointed! They are GOOOOD! I ordered a full rack and some of their awesome beans and some potato salad and I still have enough left for another meal. The only negative thing for me is that they don't have the ribs all the time. It took me months calling to see if they had them and finally I saw them on Facebook and Instagram this morning and I was able to order them ahead of time for pick up. A lot of people believe beans have no place in a bowl of Chile or even on a menu in an authentic BBQ restaurant! Not the beans, the Chile. How crazy is that? My spouse and a good friend used to enter a Chile Cook Off, the invitations were always printed on a strip of toilet paper! That's a serious Chile cook-off. They always used brisket, slow cooked for weeks, well, really 12 hours and used more spices than I can remember. Plus they never used beans. I always enjoyed it but would add beans. Enough about those goofs! CVBBQ does it right! I tried a bowl today and it was amazing. Trip Tip cooked to perfection, beans but not a lot, easy on the tomatoes and just the right amount of heat. Included was cornbread ( oh so good) shredded cheese, sour cream, onions and a bit of cilantro. I loved it! This was my second time here, so I should add that I have also have had the Tri-Tip sandwich, my hubby and I liked it, along with the beans and coleslaw we shared. Sorry, no photos but just go in yourself. Clean, great staff, parking. Sadly, only open 3 days a week, lunch only-Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They do offer catering, which is great!. Tried CB BBQ for the first time and got the pulled pork, beans and deviled potato salad. All was excellent! One of my guests owns a lot of restaurants in Seattle and thought it was excellent as well. I can't wait to try the ribs and brisket. I know BBQ and lived in Kansas City, Kentucky and CV BBQ gets it right. I have always heard good things about CB BBQ but never tried until today. Inside was clean, sanitized, staff was friendly and great decor. I had the tri tip sliders and they were so delicious and filling. The sliders were three big sliders with candied bacon, mushrooms, blue cheese, savory meat, chipotle sauce and stuffed between two fresh buns. Lots of BBQ Buzz in Valley over CV BBQ. Had to get over there to try it for myself! Easy to find, plenty of available parking. Very clean inside with a friendly staff. Have only been once so cannot review the brisket but the pulled pork plate w/2 sides was run of the mill. The mac and cheese was the best thing I was served and the potato salad was good. The pork portion was ample though it was dry, as if it were left over. The 2 sauce choices were good. The pork looked like it was shredded into small fibers rather than pulled and served in hunks, and reddish. Pricing was about standard for this area so if you need a BBQ fix you will likely be happy with a visit to CV BBQ. Up to you to decide on 2nd visit. read more

Tried CV BBQ for the first time yesterday. It was a pleasant surprise. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the inside was comfortable for a sit down lunch. Prices are very reasonable. Previously a catering only company that now opens a couple times a week so make sure to call and ask if they are open before going! I had one of their rolls from their catering so when I heard they were open as a restaurant I was so excited! The location is tough to find but definitely worth the find. Finally figured out their hours and boy are they worth the wait. Restaurant is clean, charming and service is great. Didn't have to wait long to get our order. I had the brisket plate with the Mac and cheese and deviled eggs potato salad with garlic bread. Delicious! Hubby had the Marf. Which is the tri tip with mac and cheese sandwich and he loved it! Starting off the place smells like a BBQ heaven. It is very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Now to the good stuff. The BBQ was to die for. I had the three meat plate with linguisa sausage tri tip and pulled pork. The linguisa had great flavor with just the right amount of spice. The tri tip was very flavorful and tender. And the pulled pork was fabulous. Not dried out like most places. For sides I had the Mac and cheese which is a must have. It was amazing complementing the BBQ very well. The BBQ beans were ok. And the potato salad was good. Two BBQ sauces to choose from spicy or sweet which were both great. My son had the tri tip sandwich and Mac n cheese. He loved it. This place has limited hours for now due to starting up from a catering company into a restaurant but I am sure with how good the food is they will have more hours to come.
