Incredible Tri Trip and service. Some of the most amazing BBQ I have ever had and I travel the country and seek great BBQ. Try their pulled pork also...it's legit... I had potato salad and it was A+ and the mac is through the roof. I will be back when I'm back in town. Does anyone know if they sell their spicy bbq sauce? I don't want to urge you to stay away completely, but, I had absolutely nothing good here... Nothing. The service at the counter was really unprofessional too. I didn't finish my food because it was kinda gross. The Mac & cheese was bland, BBQ was bland, the sausage was not good, the beans had a strange after taste, and there was some super salty garlic bread thrown on the center of the tray. Three meat plate to go with pulled pork, tri tip, and chicken. All the meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The coleslaw was good and not over dressed. The mac and cheese had a nice crust. We had enjoyed their sandwiches before at Village Fest in PS. I had always wanted an easier access at sampling their wares, besides having to fight the crowd on Thursday nights. Finally, after having this bookmarked for a couple of months, we made it in for lunch. This place is right off of Requa & Indio Blvd., so keep your head on a swivel and you will not miss their sign. The place is small, but tidy with family-casual seating. If the music that had been blaring RAP, would have been Country, I could easily have thought I had been time-warped into a Paso Robles establishment. The smell & the feel reminds me so much of Central Cali. I had the Tri-Tip Sandwich with a side of Mac N' Cheese. My wife ordered the Taco Trio, while the kids enjoyed the Pulled Pork Sliders & a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. The moans & groans of eating quality meat were quickly evident. The meat in my roll was sliced right, devoid of THICK pieces or fat. I was dousing the meat with their SPICY sauce as if I was a fireman extinguishing a blaze. It was delicioso!! All of us were fully gratified, The servers were also patient & friendly. We did arrive around noon, but there was a major rush after we finished. This bbq is so good!!!! We ordered a ton of stuff and it was also extremely reasonably priced, even with delivery. I got chicken with 2 sides. The chicken was seriously phenomenal (juicy, flavor, big portion). The bbq sauce was a great combo of spicy and sweet. Lastly, one of my items I ordered wasn't available, so they called to ask if I would like it to be swapped for something else. 5 stars for food, communication, and price! This restaurant smelled great as we walked up as they were actively barbecuing on an open grill in the back. The restaurant was clean. Our order was taken by a friendly worker, and the food was delivered to our table a few moments later. The beans were spicy and flavorful, and the corn was also well seasoned. Very disappointed! It was today Friday at 2pm the ran out of some sides stating that they close at 4pm and if they ran out they don't make anymore. My wife and I have been trying to find a new BBQ in the valley and finally found it. It opens early which is great. Has lunch specials and the ladies at the front are so awesome and helpful. The dining room has plenty of seating and there is plenty of parking during lunch. It's our new weekly bbq and sometimes we eat there twice a week now. Chicken pork and tri tip are great. First they were incredibly nice and very conscious of the the condition of the restaurant during these crazy times. Staff was super friendly as well. We purchased 2 of their Saturday specials, "the Marf" which was their Tri Tip and their Mac&Cheese sandwich and their regular Tri Tip sandwich. I also had a side of their coleslaw. The Tri tip was great, I tried their regular sauce and their spicy sauce both were good, I also took a bite of the Marf and it was amazing as well. The coleslaw was perfect, cabbage was crisp and sauce was light so very refreshing with the sandwich. It's just 3 minutes off 10 so don't worry about pulling off. read more

I'm from the south and am picky about my retail BBQ. I went to a hockey game and at halftime looked for snacks. They had a pop up but it was already COMPLETELY sold out, I knew I had to try. This is the SPOT! My experience started off right with friendly and efficient service at the counter. There were a few people in line but the line moved fast and before long I had ordered. My order was brought to me in just a few minutes. For My two meat plate I chose: Linguisa which was flavorful with a nice little bit of spice Tri tip, which was tender and seasoned perfectly. I would have never known this place existed if the female was not standing at the corner twirling the sign. I went with a group of friends and tried the famous brisket sandwich. I will begin with the positive. The sandwich had good flavor, the meat was not dry, the bread was good and the spicy BBQ sauce was on point. The ugly. The sandwich is overpriced for the portion you get. There is no lunch combo or lunch special, specifically for the sandwich. They have no courtesy cups to drink water. You would have to settle for a soft drink or pay $2.25 for a bottle of water. I don't see myself spending over $15 for lunch at this location any time soon. read more

CV BBQ's owner, Sean Smith, is no stranger to bbq and to a customer service background. Growing up on the central coast, Sean learned and crafted his bbq skills and techniques at an early age. Stopped by on a Friday afternoon and got the Lechon Kawali with rice. The kitchen is open and you can see your food being prepared which is always cool. The dish was as expected and delicious. I liked the sauce that came with it and the Lechon was nice and crispy and meaty too. I am a new customer and will be returning to try other filipino dishes. They have cheesesteak sandwiches too and other non filipino dishes. Clean spot and very nice staff. I said thank and bye to them in Tagalog and they replied back. Thanks for the yummy food!

The beef is not fresh, nor is it the best cut. Once on grill, it's dry, unflavored, and their seasoning are basic seasoning you see at a diner. Soy sauce, salt, and chili. Their marinated kimchi, seaweed and soybean sprouts are not really flavored and just tasted boiled and watered. Their steam egg was burnt, the spicy tofu soup was chopped tofu, with ketchup and siracha. As someone who is a Yelp elite and also go to various Korean bbq places outside at middle of no where. I'd rate this place a 0/10 if I get the chance. The servers don't really check up on you. They play country music and the lights are so bright it's awkward. The men bathroom looked like it hasn't passed the public health code for a few years now and truamatizing. Would not recommend anyone who knows kbbq to come here. It's awful. I couldn't really even eat past 1 dish of meat. A lot of tendon nonchewable otherwise it's just dry.

Five Stars! Stopped at CV BBQ on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and personal attention--something you don't always find these days. The food? Absolutely fantastic. The smoked meats were bursting with flavor--clearly made with care and serious BBQ expertise. The sides were just as impressive: the mac and cheese and beans had that unmistakable homemade touch that made the meal feel like a comfort-food hug. And let's talk about the cornbread... wow. In being completely honest the food was amazing. 1, The time the food was brought to me was faster than me getting my drink 2. The BBQ is so good here I came back a week after my first visit! I have yet to try their pork ribs. On both occasions they were either sold out or it was a day porkribs are not prepared. The staff remembered my friend and I from our last visit and made a point to say hello and make sure we were happy. This is what makes a place memorable. read more

CVBBQ does it right with the Tri Tip or simply with there staff. Had the lunch special today with some potatoes salad. I usually don't eat potato salad unless it's made at home, they have nailed it. Sadly only open 3 days out of the week but worth squeezing into. read more

Then we got into eating and we enjoyed the ribs which were meaty, a hint of smoke and a tasty sauce caramelized on them. The sides were all very good the Mac n cheese, coleslaw were very good.
