First time at a Jersey Mike's ever! Service was friendly. Staff was helpful. Restaurant looked fairly clean but they could've used more help. Only 3 people working on a Friday late afternoon. My husband enjoyed his Philly and I liked the Chicken Philly. Prices are a tad high but I'd likely be back. Sandwiches would never be my first choice as a takeout food but I'll reconsider with their hot sandwiches.

Came in yesterday 4/21/25 at around 4pm after Coachella weekend. Ya girl was TIRED and done and ready to go home back to LA. The two guys up front helped make the sandwich and the first one asked how I was doing 1-10 and I said a solid 2 because, well... lol and he said well, let's make that at least a 5 but with the beautiful sandwiches they made, they turned that into a solid 10! Amazing service! :)

Employee attempted to cut everything with the board scraper, not even a proper cutting tool. Disgusting.

Employee attempted to cut every single pickle, banana pepper, and string of onion (individually) with the board scraper, not even a proper cutting tool. Disgusting. I understand preparing sandwiches might be too challenging for some (most certainly this individual) but unfortunately I do not feel as though I should've had to wait 45+ minutes for two sandwiches while also attempting to train staff/employee in appropriate food safety and handling etiquette. Disappointing because I live across the street and do not see myself ever walking into this location again.

Poor customer service. They let a person ahead of my disabled husband. And someone in the back use vulgar language.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

Perfect for a couple like my husband & I, where he always prefers American food but I always want rice. Lots of parking. Not the prettiest inside, but everything was clean & the staff were very friendly. Although the boy at the register kept getting our order wrong. My hubby asked for the large 16" Philly, and even clarified twice, but was charged & given the small 8" one instead. He was also bummed that his Philly didn't come with fries, we thought it came with it since it wasn't clarified on the menu nor did the boy taking our order asked if we wanted fries with it. Nevertheless, my husband loved his Philly cheesesteak. Also, none of us asked for lumpia, but it was added to our order. It was a nice mistake tho because the pork lumpia was crispy & delicious. I also ordered both the lechon kawali & the tapsilog. The tapas in the tapsilog was delicious & had the perfect flavor. The lechon kawali could have been a little crisper, but my husband enjoyed that as well. We would definitely come back next time we're in town & craving Filipino & cheesesteaks.

I especially enjoyed the #14 The House. It's a house-made chicken salad with nuts and cranberries and comes with sprouts, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on Squaw Bread. The cranberries adds a mild sweetness which balances out the mayo and the nuts adds another layer of crunchy texture and flavor which I loved. If I were to be honest, I wasn't too crazy about their bread. On both sandwiches, it was soft which was good, yet at the same time, just a bit stale. While the sandwiches initially seemed loaded, most of the ingredients are right in the middle of the sandwich where they slice it in half, so while it's very visually appealing, there's basically a ring near the crust of the bread that didn't have much toppings. As far as the Love The Club sandwich. I think they are a bit heavy handed with the salt. The sandwich was too salty. At $33 for two sandwiches, it's also a tad bit pricey. Overall good experience and will be back to try more !

It's not chasing trends or a foodie destination, but this is a classic case of -- don't judge a book by its cover. If you're looking for white tablecloths, dainty plating, or a place to sip mimosas with your pinky up, this isn't it. If you want a 45-minute wait and an Instagram selfie backdrop, keep moving. But if you want a solid, satisfying meal that won't wreck your wallet, this place absolutely deserves your attention. It's a two-person operation and everything is made to order. That means if they're busy, you'll need a little patience, but that also means everything is coming out hot and fresh. The decor won't be featured online or in any magazines, but the place is clean, the food is good, and the prices are right. What we had was all simple, filling, and well executed: PB Toast - whole wheat toast with peanut butter, fresh seasonal fruit, and a drizzle of honey. WINNER! Grilled Sourdough - eggs, bacon, ham, melted cheese, and chipotle aioli on sourdough. Yummy and inexpensive. Bagel with cream cheese and lox (2). Solid. If you care more about value and satisfaction than vibes, this is your spot. This experience was a refreshing change especially compared (breakfast v breakfast) to a recent meal we had that cost more than twice as much which was at an overpriced, underwhelming, big-name franchise. If you're looking for something that feels honest: where the focus is on good food, good portions, and real value rather than hype, then you'll appreciate what they're doing here.

The service was chill, laid back and very friendly. I felt like I was being served by good welcoming friends. One downside was the server who took our order, forgot to put it in the computer which caused a 45 minute delay. Taking it in stride he immediately offered to comp the whole meal and drinks, taking the blame upon himself. Stand up guy! I offered to at least pay for the drinks and he wouldn't let me. Regardless of the time delay, we had a great time and the food was outstanding. We will be back.
