After what at the time turned out to be a disastrous rehearsal dinner for my sons wedding, the owners graciously reached out to us and made it right with us. Thanks to the owners for being diligent in making sure the customer is taken care of! I did not eat my meal that night, but of the 21 of us in the party, the other 20 loved their food. The food was phenomenal as well as the drinks. It did take 30 minutes to get our first order of drinks but the service was much better as the night progressed. The BLT Salad is incredible and not at all what you would expect. The grouper was out of this world. Our party of 8 adults had different seafood dishes as well as steak. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. We shared multiple desserts as well and all were delicious. Short review: I'd give it a 2.5/5. VERY expensive, small entrees, food was alright but not for the price (over 150 for 3 people) Longer review: I looked up the Yelp reviews prior to going and saw mixed reviews. I usually know better than to go to a place with mixed reviews as it's always turned out to be negative for me, however my mother really wanted to try Cuvee and I wanted to make her happy. We were greeted nicely and even though we were 15 minutes early for our reservation we were seated quickly. It was surprisingly pretty slow for a saturday night. We asked for water and wine, both which took some time but nothing too outrageous. It probably took 20 minutes just to get the starting bread, which like another reviewer stated was only one piece per person which was a little odd but it ended up being all we could eat anyway. We ordered the green tomatoes for an app, which came out very small but good. 15 dollars for about two tomatoes with some brie and crawfish on top. I ordered the grouper which saved the meal for me. It was very delicious. My mother got the seabass which she liked but it was nothing special- you could get it anywhere for half the price. My boyfriend ordered the bone in filet ($60! Not on the menu so we did not know the price) and it didn't come with sides. We ordered brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes which were $4 a piece and the mashed potatoes were about the size of an ice cream scoop. There were about 5 sprouts cut in half for $4. The wine was good but expensive for what we got, we had a chocolate martini and ice cream with espresso affogato (not on the menu but they worked with us) which were alright. To end this, I've had meals costing $300 that made me want to come back at other places so the price wasn't really the issue.. but this meal was over $250 and was a glorified bonefish. Me and a buddy went here on 10/29, for a quick bite and drinks for dinner. The bartender mentioned they had a wagyu prime rib and that it was amazing. It was also $85. Sounded good, so I ordered it. When it arrived, it was cold, as if it had been sitting in a fridge. Additionally it was raw, not rare, but RAW in the middle. It was incredibly tough. I had the waiter ask the chef to throw it on the grill real quick thinking this would help. Got it back and still incredibly tough. I was able to cut off and chew down about 4 bites. This thing was tougher than leather. I couldn't even cut off any more meat on this thing with serrated knife. Told the bartender (was eating at the bar) and told him this was ridiculous. He apologized. The girl next to me told she was recently served rotten fish here. 5 min later the check comes and this leather boot of a steak was actually on my bill for a full $85. "Prime rib" that they served me that was inedible was on the bill. They offered to take $20 off of our $160 bill but that is a joke. This is how you lost customers. Will never visit again. I will say the ambiance is very nice and the staff was pleasant. Will never return or suggest to any of my vacation renters. read more

Rude hostess received us with bad attitude. She didn't welcome us nor say hello. Instead asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. I replied that I needed a table for two. She made unpleasant faces and walked us to our table. Waitress welcomed us kindly and suggested alcoholic beverages. I indicated that my girl and I do not drink alcohol. He made a face like if he was bothered and walked away. When he came to take our order I asked for vegetarian options. He just pointed at side dishes on menu, made weird unpleasant face again and walked away. Then he came back and we ordered beef appetizer, salad, sea bass and pork. At this point waitress said that all my choices had meat. I said that I knew but had limited suggestions. He placed our orders but every time he came to refill our waters he appeared to be mad and splashed water all over the place. I asked for my bill. He came back with desert menu. We were a bit worried about eating here after looking at some of the reviews. It is an upscale restaurant, so expect to pay upscale prices. However, we had an amazing experience from the time we entered until we left. All the staff we came in contact were friendly and helpful. We had a party of 5 and each of us really enjoyed our dinner. So we came here, hoping for some amazing experience. However, we were disappointed with the service. We were kept waiting from the time we sat. At one time, our party of four had to wave to get attention. Bread came after a long time and then again we waited and then we waited. Plus, the bread came after the appetizers. The waitress was okay, she refilled our drinks as they were emptied, and followed instructions quite well. However, she, at times talked very quickly. Dinner when it came was nice. My Chilean Bass was well prepared. Others felt that the quantity was significantly less. Two in our party were vegetarians, they felt somewhat excluded and were forced to choose one entrée after being told that they could have a variety of options. The last entrée was substandard, a Lamb Bolognese. Yes, it had more quantity, but not quality. It wasn't all too flavorful. read more

The only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service wasn't all that great, but everything else was suburb. We came here for a friend's birthday dinner last weekend; we were impressed with the atmosphere and the ambience right away. This place is located in a prime, upscale shopping center with plenty of parking, so that wasn't a problem at all. We were immediately greeted by the host staff, and sat at our table only a minute or two after our scheduled reservation. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and they have a huge selection of wines, which are all stacked up against the wall, surrounding the bar. The bar is separated from the rest of the restaurant since they had live music going, it looked like a party for sure! They had a great menu selection which had great quality food. The food definitely correlated with how nice the restaurant was. I ordered the 8oz beef fillet with brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes, along with the smoked tomato soup for an appetizer. Everything I ordered was absolutely amazing! Zero complaints about the food. The service, on the other hand, was not tot great. From the time we sat down, it took our server at least ten minutes to greet us, and we didn't even have any menus of any sort. He greeted us, left for another 10 minutes, came back with drink menus, and then left again. I had a couple questions about their signature cocktails, but he kept disappearing on us! I eventually had to settle for a craft beer since it took him forever to come around and take our drink orders. It then took FOREVER to get our drinks, and it wasn't even the bar tender's fault, because I saw our drinks sitting up at the bar for 15 minutes!! After we got our drinks, we FINALLY got our food menus, which then took another 20 minutes to order...I'm not even joking, the wait time for everything was so, SO slow!!!! I could understand if the place was slammed with guests, but it wasn't too terribly busy, and they did not appear to be understaffed either, so I'm not sure why it took nearly 30 minutes to order our food from the time we sat down. Fortunately, our food didn't take too long from the time we ordered, so we were very happy about that. Again, to reiterate, the food was SO good, which is the majority of the reason why I'm giving this place a good review. At the end, I wanted to order dessert because I hear that they good dessert here, but our server didn't give us a dessert menu or even bother asking! I didn't even get a chance to ask because he never came by after that. So to summarize, the food, location, and the place itself was top-notch. The service was sub-par, to say the least, so if you're in a hurry or pressed for time, I suggest you not come to this place unless you have at least 2 to 3 hours to burn for dinner. read more

Sea bass over wilted spinach, with fresh tomato sauce, literally melted in my mouth! Then dessert... get the sampler platter! A taste of all their desserts, key lime, banana cream pie, chocolate crepe, ice cream covered in chocolate, nuts, cinnamon covered in honey! OMG heaven on a plate! The food was fine but not on par with what we had at Edwards and George's while having a higher price tag. My old fashioned was essentially sugar water and my wife's rose tasted cheep. We heard what a great restaurant it was, so wanted to give it a try. They advertised a happy hour with a bar menu so we wanted to give it a try. When we arrived we walked into the bar area. We said we were here for happy hour. They said we could sit at bar or outside next to the curb. Although there was only 4 people on the rather large patio, they only serve happy hour on tables next to curb. Kind of like being near bathroom. They Made us feel like 2nd class citizens. Very uppity. We ordered three appetizers off menu. Fried green tomatoes with crawfish, hamburger, and pork. They were all very good. Even though it was good, I don't like to be made feel cheap because we wanted happy hour. They have happy hour for a reason. To bring people in. When we left there was not a sole outside. Probably would not recommend. We have a place on 30a and always bring friends, but it probably won't be here. read more

I had the Pear Martini which was terrific! Could have if more of those for sure. I hear great things about the Happy Hour/Bar menu but we had dinner. Started with the Fried Green Tomato, Brie and crawfish appetizer. It was probably the best thing I ate at dinner and it left me wanting to order 2 more. The crawfish was perfectly cooked so as to not be too tough and the Brie was an interesting addition to the typical fried green tomato app. I ordered the Sea Bass which was nicely prepared and tasty. Not the most amazing Sea Bass dish I've ever had but it was good. The Brussels sprouts were a little overly roasted for my tastes but were ok. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was the dessert. I'm a dessert person and I want it to be so good that I don't even care how many calories are in each bite. We had the banana cream dessert along with the chocolate flourless sin cake. Both were fine, but nothing made me want to order dessert there again. Stopped in on Tuesday for Happy Hour and apps! Large cozy, bar area with hightops for 2 against the wall. Opted for the nice 2 tops. A cheery server came over promptly and explained all the deals for the evening. Sold me on a house Chardonnay and the green fried tomatoes and brie app. A very nice lady in a lovely straw hat came over to welcome us too. Appetizer was served and ohhh la... la!! Wow! The warm, green fried tomatoes and brie and the tangy orange glaze drizzled on top and side of plate were a perfect blend. Beautiful presentation too. Does this come as a full meal? Indeed EXCELLENT! I was very impressed with the attentive service received during this visit. Always loved the original Cuvée Bistro in Destin, but this was our first visit to Cuvée 30A. We were definitely not disappointed! They have a terrific Happy Hour, with reduced priced cocktails, wine, beer, and appetizers. I had the BLT Flatbread Pizza, which was utterly delicious! The sublimely thin and crispy crust was baked to perfection, and the chunks of bacon, chopped tomatoes, spinach, sciracha cream sauce, and yummy cheese was fantastic! And the price was so affordable. Our server was extremely attentive and informative. We love the decor. Can't wait to return! read more

Been to this restaurant before and usually have a good dining experience. But when you pay over 200 dollars for a meal you do expect a little respect and service. The issue was a service girl who delivered the food. My wife and I ordered 2c8boz filet steaks. When they arrive the service girl ( seemed young) asked us to cut into our steaks to make sure they were cooked correctly. Well they were not and they were rare in the middle. I politely said no and if you could just cook it slightly more that would most likely correct the issue. She quickly took them back. About 10 minutes later she returned with the steaks and j slid in front of us. Said nothing and walked away. That's the type of attitude that ruins a night out. For Cuvee it comes down to training. Mentioned the redness to our main server, she was surprised and sorry that should of not happened. And that was it, no manger stopped by, nothing...that being said I will think quite hard on coming back, but if you want to be an upscale restaurant hire respectful people. Taking Thanksgiving Dinner at a restaurant is rife with danger, mostly coming from unmet expectations formed by memory of happy and satisfying family gatherings over many decades. They do mount up. I knew not to burden this reservation with such things, nonetheless, I was sorely disappointed in yesterdays dinner, knowing that the restauranteur is capable of so much more. Cuvee30a advertises itself as a 22 year tradition but it was presented as a first time effort. Let me say first , the " food we ate" was wonderful, but when you hold yourself out as a five star alternative to dinner at home you better have your stuff wired together and on Thanksgiving, James Creehan's crew fell short - very short. The buffet line was set wrong - no sign announcing where the line starts; gravy by the soup at the end of the line rather than next to the turkey and stuffing where it belongs. Throughout our three hour stay ( it was only that long because we were always waiting for food) we never got the full plate you expect. It was completely asynchronous dining experience! The crowd ordinarily very preppy, correct, and nouveau riche, became surly and rude, manner left outside as frustrations rose over the paucity of food. Desert came to our table unbidden on a communal plate ( we requested small plates for sharing bu they never came), and after savoring a split of $85 desert wine no coffee was offered. When some coming back from the buffet spilt their dish on the floor, a waiter behind the room separator was heard to tell a diner, "Go around", in a rude manner that got heads turning up from the unfilled plates. IN closing , it is I am told a great restaurant, but yesterday they failed. read more

We LOVED Cuvee 30A! I had been to Cuvee back when it was in Destin and we really loved it so of course we had to make the trek down to the new location to check it out again. Totally worth the drive. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was SO good. Our waiter, Stuart, was so friendly and attentive and accommodating and the atmosphere is just magical. I think we loved every bit of the experience. My friend had the Grouper Vince and really loved it! I didn't try it but it looked amazing. We also split a Mitzi milkshake and it was just absolutely divine. I don't love driving from Destin to the 30A area at night because of deer on the highway but I would chance it for this. It really is a top-notch experience all the way around. LOVED IT! read more

One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. I credit this in large part to the poor management. Our service was unbelievably slow. An appetizer was forgotten. We told both the server that delivered our food and our waitress. It didn't come to our table until after our entrees were finished. Our meal took almost 3 hours while we saw other tables turn over much faster. The manager who noticeably stood around doing little to nothing while his staff was overwhelmed gave an underwhelming apology and shockingly the appetizer still appeared on our bill. One of the most flavorful restaurants we've enjoyed this week in Rosemary. We loved the grouper and sea bass. The bisque was also out of site. Highly recommend for those who look for more in their pan handle meals than pretty pictures. It is all about the flavor and we loved it!! Happy hour is the best!! We both had the Caesar salad which was fresh, the eggplant croutons were nice and warm. Salad had enough dressing, romaine lettuce was crispy. We ate here last night. When I asked for the waiter we had had 6 months ago - at which time we had a dining disaster which definitely was NOT his fault- the receptionist recalled the event and said it was Robert. We sat at one of his tables and when he saw us he even remembered the chair in which I had sat. The first few times I visited this restaurant the food was outstanding, but the service was subpar at best. I figured this was the benign result of opening a new restaurant, etc., so, after hyping it up to my friends and family, I made a reservation for four people. This time, however, proved to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant that prides itself on offering a fine dining experience. We showed up at precisely our reservation time, but the hostess explained to us that we would have to wait a few minutes while they were setting our table. That's perfectly reasonable, and I certainly don't mind waiting a few minutes even when I've made a reservation. But, after 30 minutes and purposefully finishing a cocktail at the bar in record slow time, I started losing patience. The hostess finally found us and showed us to our table, which, as my wife had noted when we first walked in, was never occupied. At that point, I was just glad to get a table and knew I would probably forget the long wait by the end of what was sure to be a great meal. That didn't happen. Either your standard water server or our waiter - we couldn't figure out what his role was - poured our waters and placed a wine list on our table. Another 30 minutes passed and we still had not been served or offered an appetizer, drink, or even a menu. For the first time in my life, I walked out of a restaurant. I don't know if I'll be back again, which is unfortunate because, as a Rosemary Beach homeowner I was pretty excited to have another fine dining option. read more

We have eaten here three times in the last two years now on our trips to Florida from Maryland. Every time the food has been excellent. On this latest trip I tried the smoked tomato soup with shrimp, one of the best things I have ever tasted! If you go at happy hour there are amazing specials in the bar, but I will go there anytime!!! Servers have all been excellent, the cocktails are always very interesting and tasty!
