Pasta Primavera with shrimp
George C.

Food was really good. Service was really good, the ambiance is okay but everything else is solid

Jordan L.

Honestly this was the best meal we had in the area!!! Was very happy we gave it a try and would totally come back if I were to visit Florida again. The salad and shrimp were good, with the pesto coming in shortly behind that. Potatoes were just okay but glad we got them to balance out everything else. The place wasn't wildly crowded but we got a reservation just in case. Our server was nice and the food came out relatively quick! Indoor seating mainly! If there is a wait, you'll likely be standing outside.

I knew this place was popular but still very surprised to see a line out the door when we arrived a little after 5 pm on a Friday night. They have a little bar waiting area though and we didn't have to wait for too long. We ordered the lobster quesadilla as an appetizer and it was so delicious and cheesy. I got the shrimp pesto fettuccini as my main course and was not disappointed. We were also glad that they were able to accommodate our friend who has a dairy allergy with the jerk crusted snapper. Our server was very sweet! The ambiance was nice and upscale. I loved the outdoor dining option. We shared a bottle of white wine for our friends bachelorette which was delicious. They were also great about splitting our bills. Would def recommend this spot if you're in 30A looking for a nice dinner. But go right at 5 pm so you don't have to wait too long!

I'm between 3 and 4 stars on it, so rounded up since I only have one visit to go by and others seem to have positive opinions. The good: service was excellent, very helpful and was happy to walk through the good and bad of the menu (well, not "bad" per se, but he was honest as to which dishes he didn't like as much). Location is lovely and conveniently located. Pleasant dining space indoors and outside. The food was fine, which was a little disappointing from reading other reviews. Fish was a little dry and could've used a little more sauce (possibly due to its being a bit dry, I suppose). It was a good portion size (better be for $28, after all), and I saw potential, just wasn't an A-game delivery. The fries, I must say, were excellent. Drinks were also just fine, nothing really stood out about them. All told, I'd go back, just wasn't the knockout experience others seem to have had.

Went here for lunch, greetings from staff were friendly and server was on point. Food was pretty decent for the area but nothing too crazy. I overheard some group saying the calamari was the 'best they ever had' which made me chuckle a little bit. I'd give it a 7/10 though. Space seemed a little tight inside, most people were eating outside. Overall decent option for this area

We got seated quickly outside on the patio. There was some stormy weather predicted but they said they could close the windows to block rain if needed. We had service with a smile and were checked on frequently! The food was very good and even though it's not a huge menu everyone found something they wanted . We had lobster quesadillas, crab cake , snapper, pesto pasta , swordfish belly, honey sweet potatoes, , and a salad. Every plate was cleared except the slaw on the swordfish belly plate .

Grouper, fries & Sangria

We loved George's so much we had lunch there twice! Loved the ambiance, the food and the service was great! Loved the Sangria and the lobster roll was delicious! Also had the grouper the 2nd trip, very good!

I would say this was 3.5 stars. We were seated quickly outside under a patio heater, which was great. We were expecting a wait, so that was a bonus. It was quiet and easy to converse with our group. Our server stopped by immediately and was very attentive throughout our meal. There were 2 mocktail options (the lemon thyme one was pretty good) and an NA beer available, which we always appreciate. The food came out very quickly while we were still eating our salads. It was good - not mind-blowing, but good. Some dishes were over seasoned or nondescript, which was a bit of a bummer (the grits were crazy salty, the chickpeas were super spicy, the potatoes with the waygu steak were kind of mushy and tasteless (duck fat potatoes that are kind of crispy are so good!!!). The steak, for the price, was a bit underwhelming - very tender, but not a ton of flavor. The portion sizes were nice for all of the dishes (just add a few more stalks of asparagus to the Waygu ribeye please). For dessert we had the key lime (was not our favorite - so sweet) but the chocolate toffee "goo" was delicious. Overall, though, we had a great evening and enjoyed our time at George's. Perhaps it was an off night in the kitchen.

Food was delicious, wait staff is amazing. There is a line to get into the wait list. No reservations. Get there early!

Stumbled on to this fantastic restaurant for lunch. We had the Lobster Quesadilla and the Lobster Roll, both were delicious. Drinks were tasty!!! Server was extremely nice and friendly

LOVE this restaurant.. but don't love the outside bartender on the evening of October 8th 2025. I have never seen a bartender work at such a snails pace before. I stood in line for 20 minutes and she made 5 drinks (2 of them were wine). By the time it was my turn to order, my table was ready. And on top of that, she had an attitude problem. Amazing food and service otherwise!

Great flavor. Mains: I had the red snapper and took the server's recommendation to swap the fingerling potatoes for the truffled mashed potatoes. (Lighting in the picture isn't great, but it was divine.) My husband & one son had the filet, another had the pasta, and the last one had the pork chop. All were really good. I stopped by to order a quick coffee to walk around with over Thanksgiving break. It's not just coffee and food inside, but a full bar and convenience store with fun beach snacks. It reminded me a bit of Disney World, it all almost feels fake, like it's part of a larger show. The decor is beautiful, of course, and a welcome splash of color amongst the all-white Alys Beach architecture. One thing my aunties pointed out is that the items in the convenience store did not have labeled prices. They asked the women at the counter about it and she replied, "we just don't do that here." This did not sit right with my aunties, and they expressed that they wouldn't buy something from somewhere that wasn't upfront about prices. I must agree, and if I was the clerk, I might have just offered to price check what they wanted instead. My coffee was good. I recognize we're on beach time, but it did seem to take a while to be ready. All in all, though, this is a beautiful place. Worth seeing.

The soup was my favorite crab soup out of the 3 I tried around 30a. We got the shrimp carbonara and shrimp and grits for our entrees. The carbonara portion was huge. Definitely enough to split with someone and still have leftovers. We were pretty stuffed and nothing piqued our interest so we passed on dessert. The server was nice and attentive. Appetizers came out pretty quick. The complimentary bread was good. Our only criticism was that the shrimp came with the tails on so we can get our hands dirty with sauce to remove the tails off. Not going to deduct points for it as it seems like everywhere in 30a serves shrimp with tails but my southern husband was disappointed by it at a nice restaurant. We will definitely be back on future trips to 30a. However, when we got to the hostess stand and gave them our name, the employees at the stand seemed to be bickering a bit and we weren't sure if it was related to my husbands allergies/where to seat us or something else, but it made us a little nervous. The happy hour deals are amazing and people line up at the door at open for the $6 martini special (bar only - but you can get up and walk over there). We did get to participate in the bogo half off entree deal which was nice. Overall, I would return but the first impression with the hosts just worried us a bit.
