Only place open later, everything winds down around 9 pm. There is also an entertainment fee, which was new to us, and you'll be charged even if you're not really there for the entertainment, is about 2$ no biggie but good to know. We went back at a different time expecting more food options, but instead found more of a lounge vibe with a live DJ and drinks. My fiancé and I chose Proper Restaurant & Bar to celebrate our engagement with both of our families, so this dinner was incredibly special to us. We had a party of about 15 people, and while the evening had some bright spots, it unfortunately didn't live up to what we had hoped would be a memorable celebration. Earlier that morning, we called and made a reservation for our large group. Later in the day, we called back simply to confirm that a high chair would be available for one of the babies in our party, only to be told that there wasn't a reservation under our name. It was a stressful start, especially with such a large group to coordinate. Thankfully, when we arrived, the staff was able to accommodate us with outdoor seating, and we were grateful they found a way to fit us in. Our server was kind, and I understand that serving a party our size isn't easy. That said, service throughout the meal was quite slow, and there were several mix ups. Some guests waited a long time for drinks, a few orders were missed initially, and it took quite a while before everyone had their meals. The cocktails, however, were excellent. Our table ordered espresso martinis, margaritas, and several other drinks, and those were definitely a highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment for our group. The appetizer portions were much smaller than we expected, and overall, most of us weren't particularly impressed with the quality of our meals. Considering we were celebrating such a special occasion, we had hoped the food would be just as memorable as the setting. Proper is in a beautiful location, and I do appreciate that the staff was ultimately able to accommodate our large party after the reservation mix up. Based on our experience, though, I think this is probably a better spot for drinks and a couple of small bites than it is for a large celebratory dinner. Awesome dinner spot and very kid friendly. We were visiting on vacation and our kids loved dining out here. We had a lime margarita and it was refreshing. The feta dip was really good and light. This is a great spot to go to in Panama City. I love their cheeseburgers and they serve their soft drinks in a stainless tumbler which you get to keeps. The ambience is artistic. Our server took our orders and brought our drinks & didn't return until we were done with our meal? They have some very good beers (especially their own, really enjoyed the ones I tried), quality cocktails, and what I'd call elevated bar/pub grub (burgers, sandwiches, wings, fish and chips, etc., with a few twists, like a bao appetizer). The food was good, but not amazing or anything. It hit the spot, so good enough in my book to return and recommend. Chief gripe is the same of a lot of places in the area--it's just a bit pricey for what you get. Atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming. This restaurant is in a fabulous location, with shops and other restaurants nearby. We walked in and seated ourselves, and a young man came over to let us know someone would be with us momentarily. Our waitress was friendly and Very efficient. She was also very understanding of food sensitivities, so that's always a huge plus. Hubby got the Cuban, and I got the burger on a GF bun. Both were excellent. They have several TVs tuned to sport channels, for your viewing pleasure. We stopped in here on a Saturday with a group of 9 and got in pretty fast. All of us enjoyed our food and it came pretty fast. They did have an interesting option on the menu but we did not get it. (So You Got Dumped $100- Fries and Champagne) The area is great and lots to do around there. All 9 of us liked what we got and a few of us were jealous of what the other person got. The bar is lovely and bartenders have been very professional. On balance we favor the Happy Hour. $12 cocktails. Angel's Envy Old Fashioned is usually $21. The Happy Hour food is a good deal. The Thai wings a winner for us - 8 sticky delicious pieces of chicken for $10.50. Overall the experience at this location was pretty good. I was seated promptly in an outdoor area that I requested. Once seated I waited approximately 20 - 25 minutes before I was greeted by a server. It was clear that they had forgotten about me, especially considering they sat another table of six people and took their drink and food orders before I was greeted by a server. Within approximately 15 - 20 minutes my food arrived. I had ordered two items off of the brunch menu. The food, once it arrived, was hot, flavorful, and well presented. Overall I would recommend this establishment. The ambience is nice, the staff was friendly, the price was not ridiculous, considering the proximity to Rosemary Beach, and they offer a military discount. We visited IHP today, 7/27/25, for dinner and drinks. We arrived just before happy hour ended, and promptly ordered drinks. After ordering drinks, we were told that happy hour didn't begin until 5:00 p.m., and that changed the course of our dinner. We proceeded to order our dinner which was the hummus and veggie plate, $18, 8 wings for $16.50, and blackened grouper on top of the veggie fried rice, $42. Brussels sprouts were undercooked and tasted uncooked, squash appeared to be cooked properly but it was very clear they had been cooked and then refrigerated, hummus was flavorless. The veggie fried rice was good with nice veggies in it, but $21 for a slice of Grouper on top of it is simply ridiculous. We ordered two $20 margaritas that we got on happy hour for $12.78 each, and an old fashioned, for $12.xx. We asked our server why the menu display different prices versus the check we received which displayed higher prices. After about a 10 minute wait we were approached by the manager who approached our table and asked "what do y'all need". We proceeded to tell her that the menu price is displaying a different price than what our check displayed. She explained to us that the prices on the menu were cash prices, and the prices on our check were included in 3% surcharge that we would not have known about unless we had asked about it after we receive the check. Food was average, service was average, drinks were not good and missing any presence of alcohol. Their Instagram presence leads you to think that their food is exceptional and that they plated it with such care and peculiarities. Do not fall for the internet hype. Overpriced and service and food is average, at best. Go elsewhere. Read the reviews and stick to 4.5 or above in this area. I do not recommend. Thank you read more

We had a great last dinner here. On a Friday night in off season for a party of four we waited about 20 min and played at the nearby arcade. Once seated we were on the patio with plenty of warmth from the heater. Becca was a great server who helped us navigate the menu and offered great suggestions. The ufc burger was huge and yummy. Our server was very friendly and gave us some cool information about the start of restaurant. Overall, our food was excellent. Very nice bar and restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach. We sat at the bar during Happy Hour. All speciality drinks $10 and decent selection of food at reduced prices. We had the Mediterranean Goat Cheese spread. Plenty as an appetizer. Server with pickles carrots and pita bread.
