Every time we go we ask why it's not super crowded and a line out the door. The food is always hot and fresh, amazing potions and tastes extremely good. The place is super trendy, clean, good vibes all the way! I believe our waiters name is Shaun, I know he can sing and always has amazing service! He gators our kiddos order first so it's not extremely hot and they aren't running out of patience. Food came out amazing and fast. Visited for Sunday brunch with the family. My daughter got the kids' chicken tenders and mashed potatoes; the potatoes were great, but the tenders lacked flavor. I ordered the Cutten Breakfast (3 eggs, bacon, sausage, and a pancake) with a side of hash browns and grits. Eggs were moist, hash browns slightly overcooked, bacon crispy, and the sausage met expectations. The pancake was a bit burnt and dense but still enjoyable. My husband had oatmeal, a biscuit sandwich, and fries. The fries were delicious, but the oatmeal seemed pricey at $6 for a small cup. Perhaps their forte is bar food; if you're craving a burger and fries, this might be the spot rather than brunch. read more

My husband and I were seated, and after fifteen minutes, nobody ever came to inquire if we needed any water. The service is terrible and I would not recommend it!! Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience and we will not be returning. The lack of attention to customers is poor. It's a shame because we had heard good things about this place before. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Right next to target it's a little hard to find off the road but what a great experience I had. The food was amazing. I used to really like this place but I went today and they changed so much. You can't grab your own drink anymore and refill it. A server has to do it for you. I don't think you can order from the counter, since when I walked in I was sent to a table. They changed the menu, a chicken sandwich with fries costs $20 now instead of $13. They removed multiple items and raised the prices, while also making you rely on servers more. Apparently all these changes were to "improve" but honestly it was fine and amazing before. Pleasantly surprised by this place. It's not what it seems. I heard positive things from the next door app and thought we should try it out. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was slow. They have a beautiful modern cozy decor. They have plush leather seating booths and chairs. The food was delicious. I ordered their specialty chicken sandwich with fries and it was very tasty. You order at the bar and they bring you your food. This has positives(you order your food and it comes out quick) and negatives (no one is really coming by frequently to check if you need anything). We had never heard of this place. Stopped by on a whim. Greeted by a very friendly staff and served complementary warm sweet cornbread upon being seated by the sweetest waitress, Uni. $3 mimosas were a no brainer and glad we had them. . We almost ordered chicken and waffles because it looked so good - waffle and four large tenders. We opted for the chicken fried steak with fried okra and green beans. Nice addition to the Willowbrook area. Had a burger and fries - burger was very large on tasty bun with two slices of cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was tasty although the meat could have been seasoned more. Fries were excellent and I could only finish half of them. Nice atmosphere. Fairly quiet at lunch during the week. I was looking forward to the experience at Cutten Kitten while attending a friend birthday family gathering. The RSVP was done well in advance for 10 people for a 2 pm hour. The host and manager did not seat our party until 3 pm. It was over an hour wait. The cornbread was served without plates just utiles on the table. After receiving the order items was only warm instead of being food hot as received. I will not be patronizing this restaurant again in near further. Also, be careful with slippery floors which indicates they need cleaning. read more

Took my wife here for Mother's Day and we had reservations but was told that all tables would be 30 minutes wait time. The staff when we walk in ignored, us for several minutes than finale were seated. Food orders were 1 1/2. hour out because the kitchen staff was behind and not prepared. Complementary corn bread was dry and old sitting around taste. Meatloaf was not good had more green peppers stuffed in the meat than actually meat. Onions rings were cold and very greasy and they ran out of Mac and cheese was out by noon. In place of the Mac and cheese was potatoes that were slapped in the bowl and running off the sides. Gross. Unfortunately they were unprepared for Mother's Day which reflected on the whole experience. The waitress we had was good. This place I would rate over all experience negative -10 food -10. The blueberry lemon drop did not taste good, though. 4 stars because the food took quite a while for a weekday with one other party sitting, and the waitress forgot to put in my entree. We recently ate here to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was our first visit and we were impressed. The location makes for easy access, great ambiance, our waitress Jordan was fantastic! Visited twice! Enjoyed it so much the first time around that I had to run it back for the pancakes!!! The edges were nice and crispy and it wasn't too thick/thin. This last time the pancakes were thick and the edges weren't nice and crisp. I suggest you'll put the better pancake maker on shift FULL TIME and stop playing around, people pay for good food and consistency not inconsistency and mediocre food get together ! The hostess was the only positive. The waitress was not attentive. When asked will we get complementary cornbread for the table, we had to ask AGAIN only to receive what look to be something rejected from some elses plate. It was only two small pieces for a party of 3. I ordered wings and fries, had to wait for fries roughly 15mins. They messed up my friend order. She asked for mac and cheese only to receive mash potatoes that was heavy on the garlic. When we informed the waitress, the order was wrong, it took another 10mins to receive mac and cheese with cold shredded cheese on top. Collard greens were too salty. Spinach dip was served COLD. How do expect people to digest COLD CHEESE? The waitress asked if we needed refills only forget. We spoke with the owner. I wasn't convinced he did anything. So we visited Cutten Kitchen near the 13th floor in Houston!!! We really loved the vibe and the reviews and food looked amazing. We just there while our kids and their friends were at haunted house...but outside of the vibe we were disappointed!!! I don't write reviews very often but I felt like I needed too! We liked the minimalistic approach were you order everything on your phone...but there are some things that need work! The drink menu is atrocious! My wife ordered two different beers from the app but neither of them were available!!! For some reason on the app you can order their appetizer of chicken bites with a rare option...WTF? The chef at this particular location should be replaced...we only did apps, every single item we ordered was flavorless!!! We had to add salt, pepper, ranch or tobacco to everything just to make it edible!!!
