Please do not waste your time going to this place. All they care about is the ambiance... food was absolutely terrible.

No other French toast will come close. Their homemade sauces make more tantalizing. If you like salty spicy, get the jojo sauce. He knows the menu in and out. He'll steer you right. It's a neighborhood gem

Rodrigo & Araceli were amazing, ensuring everything was going smoothly and according to plan. Our servers Augusto and Christian, were very attentive, kind, and on point with our food and drinks. Food was exquisite and portions were generous, cooked to perfection. The churros with chocolate and the complimentary photos for the birthday girls was the cherry on top. Ambriza's management & staff truly know how to make their guests feel special. They went above and beyond, exceeding all of our expectations. Definitely having more celebrations here in the future! On behalf of me & my family, THANK YOU again for the excellent service and making this a memorable night!! Barbie Artiga

I had a Fall Mule that was infused with chai and cinnamon- like fall in a cup! The caipirinha was a refreshing change from my usual margarita. Ceviche was fresh and I liked the corn nuts- unexpected and nice texture. Plantain chips and fried pork belly took the guacamole to another level. The empanada trio- all 3 flavors were great. Flaky crust. Will absolutely get again. Ambience- slow on a Tuesday at 6 pm but was picking up when we left at 7. Plenty of tables inside and out. Nice but casual setting.

Ask for him if you ever go there. This is an A-La-Carte restaurant, so you order and pay at the table. 2. Price - inexpensive, but can add up. It's $10-$22 per tapas. For a family of 5, we had about 7 different tapas. 3. Ambiance - hip, cute, and cozy. Definitely a great place to bring a date, meet up friends, and even a family meal. Dress code here is casual, however most people here are dressed pretty nice for a Friday evening. There is loud Latino music that puts you in a party mood. This place is fun with good vibes. 4. Food - our meal was delicious, I highly recommend their STEAK A LA PLANCHA and their PATATAS BRAVAS. 5. Cleanliness - this place is well managed in both dining area and restrooms. OVERALL - I would definitely return. We had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant if you want some Spanish style food.

While they were friendly and apologized for the food not tasting right, this place has gone significantly downhill from what it used to be. We ordered the crispy calamari, the tomato basil soup, and the lamb dish and all of the dishes had issues. The crispy calamari needed more flavor and seasoning - a different batter perhaps? It just fell flat, except for the crispiness. I'd say the marinara sauce saved it, but that's not a good sign if the food needs to be dunked in sauce to give it flavor. The tomato basil soup doesn't taste the same from years before, and I guess the last time I was there was 3 years ago. It tasted sour and then had a weird sweet note at the end...weird, then when I sent it back they tried to rectify it by adding a ton of heavy cream... :/ that's no bueno, because when I tasted the attempt of improving it, it tasted like just heavy cream and was almost a creamy white... The lamb was so expensive - very dry and quality was not there. Pretty disappointing to say the least, but my hubs wanted to dine here last week, I did not. For good reason.

We have tried this place a few times, and found the service manageable - until getting a seat at the bar became a challenge - and only for members. While it may be nice to have this for members - it is a harsh way to treat new customers (my friend was in from inside the loop! a treat!) or customers you want to "win" over. The assumption was worse - as the spot was not marked "reserved" and we were told to wait and see. Then the bartender scolded me (yup, that tone) for not sitting where the manager/owner told me to sit. We are grown ups. With money to spend - and wines to learn about. Why are we being treated like less than worthy for being willing to try a new spot. Really trying to like the spots out that way as it is close to our home neighborhood. Why not just treat everyone with the same opportunity to enjoy the bar? I don't get it. Maybe in another 5 years, I might try again.

Prices are slightly high but that is to be expected in such an elegant location. Attire is upwardly casual.
