Not only is he eye candy, he makes you feel right at home for the moment you are there. The specialty cocktails were tasty and just the right amount of booze to keep you classy hehe. We had lite bites such as the beef carpaccio and chicken cobb salad. Both were yummy. The only complaint was the ranch dressing wasn't ranching. I got the Audrey Chicken which was perfect with crispy chicken and very juicy and tender meat on a bed of mashed cream potatoes! My friend got the Truffle & Mushroom Ravioli and loved it. We went for resturant week in Houston. The food was amazing! I would recommend going. I am not a fan of steak filet, I normally find them to be dry and not good. I came in on the Friday before Valentine's Day with my best friend. We had reservations and were seated right away. The restaurant was packed and you could barely move without touching the person next to you. I ordered a key lime martini that was delicious. Next we ordered a few appetizers. Ambiance - this is an intimate setting, quiet, and classy. Dress code here is between business casual to semi formal, depending on the occasion. Definitely a nice place for a date. Decor is upscale and gorgeous. It has a Baroque ambiance. 4. Food - We had their LOBSTER ROLL and the CHARCUTERIE ON SUNSET the first time. The Lobster roll was amazing and so refreshing as it should be. The Charcuterie was a good appetizer to share. The second time we were there, we had their AUDREY BURGER and their TRUFFLE BURGER. Of the two burgers, I prefer the Audrey burger as it was tastier with lettuce and tomatoes. 5. Cleanliness - dining area is neat, clean, and orderly. Super chic and unique restaurant concept. I was immediately taken with the modern decor and their dine-in movie concept, as it shares the space with Reel Luxury Cinemas. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the menu. The service was overall very accurate but very very slow- long moments stretched between courses- but I suspected it was intentional, to allow my friends and I to enjoy the courses and each other's company. For my appetizer I got the lobster bisque, which was was super creamy with large chunks of real lobster and served with a warm Parker roll. For my entree I had the truffle mushroom ravioli as my entree, and it was cooked well and had strong truffle flavor. As a table, we shared the tuna avocado martini, and this one really stood out to me in terms of freshness and flavor- I would order this again. Glad I had a chance to finally try this restaurant after walking past it on Market Street for a few years. For mains, we ordered the boneless half chicken...only to find one large bone and one pin bone in the chicken. We also ordered the shrimp and crab scampi only to find that they had... forgotten to put the crab in it. When speaking to the manager, he informed us that the boneless chicken did come with the wing bone, boneless just means that "pin bones are removed." But evidently, the pin bones were not removed. Both meals were fine but not special in taste, a bit bland and also small portions. I understand that it is just a restaurant attached to a movie theater, but the quality of the food and service is not commensurate with the price. Hefty sum. The truffle Hamachi was insanely good - sharp and clean but also really smooth, and the truffle flavor hit just right without being too much. We also ordered the baked feta, a big creamy pot of baked feta chunks with warm bread for dipping. But we did not have enough bread for the amount of baked feta dip. We shared one portion of the salmon entree, and it ended up being just the right amount for the two of us. The salmon was cooked medium rare, exactly how we asked for it, super tender and flavorful. The sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli were simple but really well done and paired perfectly with the fish. (It is an "ultra luxury" movie theater as well) To this end, they have a very professional head waiter and host, but where they fall down from that 5-star set up is the line servers. They have adopted the modern practice of dividing up the waiter's job so that one person takes the order, another delivers the food, and maybe someone else takes empty plates or checks on you. In theory, that works efficiently--in practice, we got food without silverware, plates delivered to the wrong person (they tried to deliver food to us bound for another table), and drinks and coffee remained unfilled. First, you'll need to take the escalator up on your right to discover this hidden gem. The restaurant immediately reminded me of Paris, it's absolutely beautiful inside. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. The waiter was fantastic, the drinks were great, and the food? Incredible. I ordered the short rib and my Wife had the salmon which she specifically asked for medium doneness and I asked for a mini-wedge salad with no blue cheese crumbles. The salads were delivered and mine had no dressing at all. Took me five minutes to get the server back to ask for some dressing, which then took five more minutes to come to the table. My short ribs were super tender and very flavorful. The salmon however was a different story as it was delivered in a very rare condition which actually had blood running on the plate.. I tried to get heir to return in put she could not eat It after the first rare bite. When we finished, we waited 20 minutes to get the check after we asked a manager for our check. We had reservations at 6. restaurant 1/4 full. we were made to sit for 25 minutes while a kid with an earpiece stared at his screen 6 different times like he was baffled! finally we were seated. we had a trainee and her trainer. the trainer taught the zit patch wearing trainee such great techniques as "taking orders completely behind your back..then yelling 'WHAT?!' when she couldn't hear", "never refilling water," "never checking to see if bloody steaks were cooked properly or really ever returning to the table." they asked who's birthday it was when they sat us but everyone around who was celebrating got special little sparklers in their desserts. when the trainee brought ours out, it didn't have one. when we asked, she said, "its my first day" with a shrug. If you think she tried to make it right you'd be wrong. this is acceptable waitstaff training and this is what you'll get for a $250 dinner. Food: ok. Not great. Tiny portions with a huge price tag. This place is basically a movie theater trying to act like an upscale restaurant. They have zero training in being an upscale restaurant. ZERO. It's fine if you're going to the movies and want to eat overpriced, small portion food before popcorn but do not make it a special, celebratory dinner spot. Nice decor and setup. However, the staff was constantly sweeping the floors among the tables which leaves a bad vibe when trying to enjoy dinner. Save the constant sweeping for the theater. Also, the music is loud and hip hop which is nice for a bar and grill but not an upscale, intimate dinner. The food was ok and the shrimp scampi was dry and bland and the pasta had 3 small mushy pieces of crab. If you are a foodie with a refined palate, don't let the large chandelier and upscale decor give you false expectations like it did for us. The service was ok. The first time I visited this establishment was on my birthday for a birthday lunch with me some friends-- they brought me a birthday dessert and I was in love. I have to say my favorite part of this place has been that it feels high end and classy, but I also don't feel bad for bringing a toddler with me. The chicken was flavorful but the mashed potatoes were dry and needed seasoning. Shared the spaghetti Al Pomodoro and that was full of flavor and enjoyed every bite. Dessert: Tom Cruise Bundt Cake wasn't too sweet and had the perfect blend of white chocolate and coconut with gold flakes. Also tried the espresso martini and had a bite more on the espresso side.
