My wife chose Amrina in The Woodlands for my birthday dinner and it was a great call. The food was really good, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered hit the mark. Our server was excellent. Super friendly, attentive, and made the night feel relaxed without being over the top. The ambiance was just right. Warm, stylish, and comfortable, with a vibe that feels special but not stuffy. Perfect for celebrating and actually enjoying the moment. If you're looking for a solid spot for a birthday dinner or a night out, Amrina is worth it. I'd definitely go back.

The best Indian cuisine I've had in awhile. Went here to celebrate my husband's birthday and I'm so glad I did. The outdoor seating area looked good and cozy, we visited at night and it was too cold to sit outside anyhow. Interior decor is beautiful seating area at the front so chic. The food was delicious, all of our choices. I recommend the chicken breast (butter chicken) and also the garlic naan as a side. Our waiter Raj was so helpful and a great server. Made our dining a pleasure. We had one of the best Indian dinner and my husband enjoyed his birthday and also his complimentary dessert! It's a must visit and they'll surely see me again soon.

Amazing event held at Amrina. We took over the banquet and the service was great, the food selection was fantastic and the ambiance was on point. I loved it!!!

Had dinner last night at Amrina in The Woodlands this spot definitely gives fine dining vibes. The space is gorgeous, and the outdoor patio is perfect for a chill evening. Our server Dee was AMAZING she managed to handle our group of 20 like a pro! I started off with their take on the old fashioned called the "New fashioned" it was so good. I don't remember the bartenders name but he definitely poured it strong . For food, I got the Lamb Nachos and the Tandoor Quail both were very delicious. And listen if you like garlic naan, theirs is the best I've ever had! If you want to try something new or enjoy Indian food. Definitely add this restaurant to your list. I will be going back for the tasting menu for sure!

Happy hour is really good - especially if you are wanting to keep to a higher caliber of cocktail. None of the cocktails are overly sweet - so feel free to be a little adventurous!

Another Houston Restaurant Week treat! I've been meaning to try this place for so long and was so glad it was part of restaurant week. This restaurant is pretty spacious and the vibes of the place are awesome. It can be dim lit especially at night, but there's plenty of ambient lighting. For my first course I got the tuna crudo which was very refreshing--a nice start to the meal. For my main course I got the malabar prawn curry. The prawns were soft and tender and paired so well with the coconut-y sauce. It went very well with the garlic naan. We also got some rice, but I felt that the rice tasted a little off--almost like it hadn't been washed enough if that makes sense. Otherwise, very good meal. For dessert I got the honey and yogurt shrikhand which was a light refreshing way to end the meal. I loved the combination of honey and pineapple. I tried some of my friends apps and entrees as well. The truffle raj kachori was the star of the appetizers--creamy, flavorful, crunchy--it was so satisfying. As for entrees the stars were the lamb chops and the butter chicken. Both proteins were prepared so well--tender and plentiful. Highly recommend! The drinks here are also delicious. I got the cuddles on the beach and she went so well with my meal.

HAPPY HOUR DAILY TIL 7P Top drink? Espresso martini wins all the time.... Although there's this one mixed with orange and vanilla that just might be the usual soon;) Top plate? THAT is a tough choice - the flavors of all just fit all so fineee. They also do a MEAN WAGYU BURGER. Their portion sizes on the HH menu is FIREEE. Service? Kenneth gives TOP service. He's adorable, bubbly, and very knowledgeable! Definitely makes the evening twice as good:) Ambiance is always high class and chic at Amrina's!

We treated ourselves to a celebratory meal and weekend staycation in the Woodlands. We hit a major milestone in our lives and just so happened to be during HRW! Earlier in the month, I had enjoyed Kitchen Rumors by the same trio who found Amrina, but Amrina's menu made my mouth water each time I read about it. We were pleasantly surprised by the waitstaff, food presentation, and the innovative flavors on traditional and new dishes with familiar flavors. Can't wait to return!

Every single bite was like a piece of heaven in my mouth! I have been missing out on this place and I aim to change that going forward. I enjoy butter chicken/tikka masala and have always been on the search to find a place (aside from downtown or me making it) where I can and let the professionals do it right. Ambiance: 5/5 Be mindful of parking. While sometimes you might luck out on street parking, there are parking garages and some people tend to park at the mall and walk over. I didn't want to return to my car being towed, so I parked in the parking garage behind Amrina. Located off of Lake Robbins and Woodloch, Amrina validates for a discounted rate. I prefer my peace of mind dining than wondering if I parked in an acceptable spot. The parking garage next to the cinema indicates it's only for the cinema, so be careful. Dress code from what I noticed was mostly smart casual. We went a bit more semi-formal cocktail. After all dressing sharp you tend to carry yourself with more assurance and signals respect for who you're meeting with. You wouldn't go in a tank top and flip flops to a fancy dinner on a first date, would you? Walking up to Amrina, there is outside seating which is perfect for when the weather gets cooler. Inside your met with decadent chic elegance. From murals, chandeliers, cozy booths, it's a mix of modern and classic and eclectic areas fused together like the flavors of the food we enjoyed. Even the lemons and lime were served so artistically, looking like a snack. (Technically they could've been.) I wanted the charger plate, it was very elegant. I do recommend making reservations just to help your experience. Additionally, they offer order to go online, so in case you can't dine in, you can still treat yourself to fine dining at home. Service: 5/5 The hostess and valet guy, though our interactions with them were quick and minimal, they were alert and willing to help. Our waitress Damaris "D" and the other staff went above and beyond to ensure we continually had water, the right food and made sure our food was just right. Food: 5/5 What does it take for a restaurant to earn a Michelin star? Because Amrina's Jassi's Butter Chicken alone should be highlighted on how the way the flavors and the smokiness, something I haven't had in a curry, just elevated it to almost feel like a spiritual dining experience. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. So much so that we cleaned the curry off the plate with the buttery garlic naan. We opted for the Houston Restaurant Week special which consisted of 3 courses and we each chose a different item to share. First course: Chicken Tikka Sampler and Samosa. This is where the celebration of flavor began. Second Course: Malabar Prawn Curry (shrimp, coconut Kokomo sauce) This was a good counterbalance to the butter chicken. It was light and a hint of sweetness. We technically had surf and turf, right? (chicken and shrimp ~ steak and lobster) Jassi's Butter Chicken. I've already shared how I felt about this. Third course: 4/5 The desserts: Honey & Yogurt Shrikhand - 3/5 almost like a parfait, nothing really memorable about this other than it was ok if you want something light and guiltless. Strawberry & Coconut Panna Cotta - 4/5 A bit more flavor for the cooked cream, but still as light as a feather to partake of. Liken it to a key lime pie, the texture, not the taste. Cardamom Chocolate Mousse - 5/5 Pair it with Red wine (Beaujolais.) The shell is chocolate filled with chocolate mouse, not too sweets just enough to enjoy and not feel like you are downing spoonfuls of sugar. Beaujolais red wine- 5/5: I usually do Cabernet but with the bold flavors of the food, it would've been heavy. It's a smooth and easy sipper that paired perfectly with each bite of savory delight that was carefully prepared for us. If you can make it in for Houston Restaurant Week to try before you commit, do so. But even if you don't make it for HRW, you won't be disappointed. They have a variety of cocktail offerings also, which I am planning to try on my next visit. Zain R and I agreed to return soon.

This was a first-class dining experience! The Indian cuisine was exquisite. We were not familiar with Indian food, but our waitress was extremely patient in answering our questions and explaining the various dishes. We started by sharing an appetizer of "Japanese Wagyu Skewers." The appetizer was small, but delicious. I forgot to take a picture of them. My husband ordered the "Hokkaido Scallops." The scallops were succulent and were served with "Masala Grits, Curry Leaf, Butter, and Cheese." He loved the entrée! My "Chilean Sea Bass" was heavenly!" It just melted in my mouth. It was served on a bed of "Brussels Sprout Foogath," with warm "Malabar Sauce" to pour from a small pitcher, both of which added complimentary flavors to the sea bass. We shared an order of "Naan," to accompany our main courses because we wanted to be able to scoop up every last bit of the sauces! We finished off our meal with the "Handcrafted Indian Dessert Sampler." The sampler consisted of 3 kinds of desserts, 6 pieces in total. Each piece was soaked in rose water, topped with gold leaf, and presented in a unique serving piece. They were moist, cool, and refreshing. The service was professional and exemplary...the finest of any previous dining experience! I would like to give special appreciation to Caroleina (sp?). She made a special effort to assure that I was able to get into and out of the restroom with my scooter. Her awareness and kindness were appreciated. Lastly, the ambiance exuded class and professionalism. We highly recommend this dining experience!

I made a party of 9 drive all the way to the woodlands from Sugar Land to try Amrina. I'm Indian but I understood this was a fine dining modern Indian restaurant. Our reservation was for 9pm but we didn't get seated till 9:45. Hungry and annoyed we were brought in to the private dining room which was gorgeous. The decor and ambiance of Amrina was top notch, but I wish the food lived up to the hype. Beside the octopus which I thought was the best I've ever had, everything else was okay at best. Maybe their target audience isn't Indian people but curated for the masses. If it was closer to the city, I might have considered going back, but as it stands. this is a one and done for me.

Quick 5 Star Review for the Amrina New Menu Items. Because Amrina had some new menu items, we decided on another visit. We let our go to server - Raj - guide the way and basically order for us. He picked the Lentil Dumplings (Havi Bhalle), Roasted Oysters, Crab Fritters (Bonda), Chicken Tikka Sampler, and the new Branzino preparation. Each dish awesome in its own way. I'll attach some pictures. The Branzino was the best fish dish that I've had at Amrina, and as good as one anywhere. We really loved the new Oyster preparation. The dish that probably exceeded our expectations were the Crab Bonda. Not really into fritters, but these were outstanding. Each and every dish is one that I would order again. We normally visit Amrina during the week, but this time we went on a Saturday. It was packed, and they actually had to add extra tables to accommodate. I guess with Tris closing, those people looking for chef driven fine dining in the Woodlands have added Amrina to the rotation. Thanks for everything Raj and the team!!

Stopped by with my friend on a Saturday night. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the decor, lighting, etc is stunning. We were interested in trying the HRW menu. We had three different courses. For the first course I had a lamb pepper dish and it was delicious, had the nice kick of spice. For the second course I had the butter chicken, it was good but it had an after taste that I wasn't a fan of. My friend had the Malabar Prawn Curry and she absolutely loved it. For dessert I had the Strawberry Panna Cotta and it was fantastic, very light and not too sweet. My friend had the Chocolate Mousse but it was too decadent. Overall, I think I'd definitely come back and try more things.

Is the outside patio seating area pet friendly?

Hi Kristen! Thank you for reaching out. Feel free to bring your pets on our patio. We would love to meet them.

Where would be a good place to park?

We used valet parking and it was only $5. But I believe there is parking in the back in a garage

Can my teenaged son wear shorts (dressy, not athletic) to dinner here?

Hi Sheryl! Thank you for reaching out and asking. Yes, that is perfectly fine. We have no dress code just ask our guests to dress appropriately for a fine dining experience. Hope you enjoy your dinner!

Does this place allow kids/babies? We were hoping to bring our newborn along for date night.

Hello! Yes, we allow kids for dinner service and brunch.

Is there a dress code?

Casual dress and higher . Shorts no matter the nicety seem too little. IMO

Are there gluten free options available?

My food was all delicious for the most part, it was mainly the service which had a few miscues. This was kind of surprising since it was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was not all that busy with just a few other customers in our entire section the entire time. We ordered the lobster bisque and mussels as apps, shrimp rigatoni and cioppino as entrees and a tiramisu for our dessert. 1) I had to ask to have my drink refilled. 2) I ordered a soup as an appetizer, the bus boy takes the app plates away just prior to the kitchen staff delivering the main entree, which was also a soup, so basically I had to ask for another spoon. 3) Dessert took nearly 25 minutes to come out once it was ordered. Although the food was really good, these blunders sort of put a damper on my visit. On follow-up visits, I will be ordering other menu items to see if they can redeem themselves. The ambiance was nice, but it would have been a lot nicer if they would have seated us near the windows at the front of the restaurant, so we have had a view. Instead, we get the back area which was darker. I historically get seated at the worst areas/tables so this was no big surprise.

A very well earned 5 stars for one of my new favorite restaurants in The Woodlands!…read more I've always been intrigued by Bosscat, but never had the opportunity to visit. My husband surprised me with brunch here last weekend and it was everything I hoped it would be. The vibe is elite. I love the way this restaurant is decorated. It was such a good ambiance & I bet it would be a great date night spot. The food was incredible. I have a favorite restaurant in Las Vegas that makes the most amazing beignets with lemon curd. I can confidently say that Bosscat leveled up and blew that favorite out of the water. If there's one thing you take away from this review, let it be that ordering the beignets is necessary. The toasted marshmallow and lemon they're served with elevate them so much. They're delicious! There were so many things on the menu we'd love to try. I'm very excited to come back and try their different menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the year!

DJ was spinning tunes inside but we opted for outdoor seating on their covered patio as it was a nice day. I gotta say I had some trepidation given our CM's earlier experiences here. But everything turned out just fine on our visit. First off I love that everything on the menu is under $20. That means we can order more. I was a bit worried that out steak and eggs would be tough because I ordered it medium rare and it came out more medium well. It's even cut already so they should've been able to tell how well done it was. But it was still tender which is actually all I really cared about. The Holy Smoked Benedict is not your traditional eggs Benedict. Instead of ham they have slices of pork belly. And it's served on a crispy biscuit (I could taste the crunch) with potatoes with a poached egg on top just like a regular Benedict. My only comment would be a little too many potatoes for my particular liking, but you can just brush them off. With the money we saved we got the beignets. They come in a sack of 5 and with a Meyer lemon curd on top side for dipping that has a dollop of melted marshmallow cream on top. They aren't traditional beignets but are really small biscuits. They tasted hot and fresh, and were nice and fluffy regardless, which again is all I really cared about. Cold water comes in an old whisky bottle and is left at your table so you can pour as much as you want when you want. I really wish more restaurants did this. The place is also now on the InKind app so make sure you sign in and pay with the app if you do that kind of stuff. InKind is free and has occasional offers that make dining even more affordable.
