It has a Szechuan numbing flavor to it. Full dim sum experience with the hot tea and the check off menu. There was a line already forming 10 minutes before open on a Saturday morning. Ny two friends and I got 10 dishes for a little over $100 (including tax & tip) which is a steal to me ! Service was quick and everything came out hot and fresh ! They have lots of tables of all sizes so this is great for family and groups. Definitely recommend coming here for dim sum brunch !

We ordered some radish cakes, dumplings and pork buns to share. All were delicious but the pork shrimp dumplings were the star. We also ordered beef yu-choy, satay chicken with Chinese broccoli and udon with beef slices. All the dishes were fresh tasting and delicious. This is a fun restaurant to try new things as is the case with most dim sum restaurants. Pro tip: dine earlier in the day for $4 dim sum which is near half off the regular price of $7.75. Highly recommended for a unique and adventurous dining experience.

It was our first time having it with the peanut sauce versus the xo sauce and it was definitely different. The coconut sago drink was definitely refreshing but also a lot. The sage ended up freezing at the bottom when I mixed it all up. Service is to be expected, and the ambiance is very casual.

Service is quick and straightforward. We ordered the pineapple bun with butter, mixed steak plate with black pepper sauce, and spare rib and chinese sausage clay pot. The pineapple bun was large, hot, and crispy with the sugary crust, although I wish the slab of butter was a bit bigger because it gets a little dry after you run out of butter. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mixed steak plate - it came with a pork steak and beef steak, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. The meat was fine but the real winner was the savory sauce! The clay pots take 20-30 minutes to cook which they tell you ahead of time, so be aware my boyfriend was about done with his food when the clay pot came out. This was a delicious classic dish reminiscent of the clay pots back in Hong Kong! I poured in a ton of sauce and it really gets absorbed into the hot rice and meat. The steamed bok choy was a nice refreshing touch. Our favorite bite was the crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot mixed with the delicious sauce. There's so many menu items that caught our eye and we'd love to come back and try it all! Hearty, delicious no-frills meals.

I love supporting…read moreamazing businesses like this one in the CID and this classic diamond in the rough small biz is on the top of that list. Their food is just that good and the unpretentious vibe is actually quite comforting and reminds me of my childhood eating in similar stellar family-owned restaurants in LA's Chinatown. I don't think you can go wrong with any dish. I highly recommend their Pan-Fried Rice Roll with XO Sauce, Braised Beef Brisket w/ Vegetable in Stone Pot, Curry Beef Brisket Lo Mein, and their Salted Pork & Chinese Sausage Rice. My go-to drinks are their awesome Mango Smoothie with Coconut Milk and Sago and their refreshing Iced Coffee. They make such satisfying comfort food! I'm counting the days until I come back to A+ to stuff my face some more!!!

The restaurant was lively with a moderate noise level. A simple family restaurant that puts out authentic Chinese food. My companions both ordered the Black Mushroom with Chicken Rice in a stone clay pot. Their regular meal at the restaurant. I selected the Braised Beef Brisket with vegetables in a clay pot. The two rice dishes require 20 minutes to prepare hence my Braised brisket arrived first and bubbling hot. The flavors were rich and deeply satisfying. So good that my companions plan to order the Braised brisket next time. The Chicken Stone pot clay rice bowls arrived soon afterward. My friends enjoyed their dishes. Fresh tasting and delicious crispy rice. One ordered a Milk Tea and enjoyed it. Highly recommended for an authentic meal when you are in Seattle's International district!
