There is an online waitlist through the Toast app, which is a great way to save yourself some time. https://tables.toasttab.com/dough-zone-pine-street/joinWaitlist?deeplink=true Dough Zone has a new QR code order system, which is very convenient and works for everything except alcoholic beverages. You can open a tab and then order more items whenever you feel like it. That's great, since it can take a little while to get the attention of the waitstaff. You need to order alcohol from an actual human being. Do bring ID - I'm in my 50's, and I still get carded every time.

Both times we ordered the cucumber dish as well as the green onion pancakes because they were delish. The pancakes were thin and crispy and the cucumbers were pickled and came as 2 pieces, wound in a spiral mound. On the first night we had pork XLB, full of bursting soup upon a bite. The fried rice was Ok but Hubby liked more than I did. The second night, we tried Dan Dan noodle. It was pretty spicy but had a nice flavor. We tried the chicken XLB instead. I preferred the pork XLB over the chicken. We also tried the pork pan fried buns, cane as 4 pieces and I liked them better than the XLB. Servers are nice but not very attentive. You place your order on the QR code and they basically bring you the dishes and drinks. Food arrived quickly.

AMAZING PORK BUNS !…read more Honestly, wow. I really did not know what to expect when ordering from this establishment since it seems to be one of the few Asian shops along Pike Place Market. As an Asian-American, I'm typically pretty wary of Asian food shops in a predominantly New-American cuisine area. However, I am definitely very glad to have given this place a shot. You can expect to have your order taken and served in a relatively quick manner. The ambiance of the shop is similar to those all along Pike Place Market, a bit fast casual. Mee Sum Pastry offers a wide variety of dim sum options to choose from but they are known for their delicious pork buns! I had the BBQ Pork bun and honestly, it was one of the most delightful items I had during my trip to Seattle. The bun is nice and flavorful, with a soft, fluffy texture. The meat inside is juicy and plentiful, definitely a welcome surprise based on the exorbitant prices of the other dim sum items on their menu. I would highly recommend stopping by this shop, especially if you're into Asian cuisine. I would advise to steer away from the dim sum because it's way overpriced but definitely get their pork buns!

The filling itself wasn't anything to write home about either and there was barely anything in it. The chive dumpling was not bad thought but definitely not worth the price. A skip in my head.

The XO seafood fried rice had fish, squid, shrimp clearly made using a well heated wok. The baked fish with corn with spaghetti - the fish was fried and crispy. A bit too much cheese for my personal taste. Not a fault of the restaurant - it's unfortunately a price to pay for being open late in international district these days :( but there was clearly someone experiencing homelessness that was coming in and out of the restaurant as he was charging his phone. So ambiance wise would not go if this is what you are looking for a late night place. But again not the fault of the restaurant.

We ordered the sweet and sour pork, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, and mapo tofu. The dishes were classic Chinese comfort food done well, with plenty of comforting flavors and generous portions. Service was very efficient and friendly. For well presented classic Chinese dishes, Hong Kong Bistro is definitely worth checking out.

The restaurant does not have adequate AC, so there are fans to help compensate. Unfortunately, the kitchen is open to the dining area so it gets pretty hot. Service: Very friendly service. You may need to wait about 10 mins or so to be seated because the place gets busy and the dining area is quite small. Food: The food is fantastic! We ordered the Cantonese styled beef noodles (not pictured) and the steamed pork patty with Chinese sausages in a claypot. Both dishes were really good and tasted just as I remember it as a child eating these dishes with my parents at home!
