Espresso martini

Parking is street parking as it's on the main avenue but they have bathrooms. Now I just went for happy hour on a Saturday. But my friends swear the food is just as amazing for the regular menu. There was a LINE out the door waiting to get in for happy hour (5pm-when it opens). And well worth it. This place was amazing. Drinks range to about 6-11$ for happy hour cocktails and nice wines. For food I had the Caesar (gf) and fries (GF). And drinks I had the espresso martini and 50/50 margarita. The margarita wasn't my favorite mainly because it was mezcal so more Smokey and I like really limey/sour margs. The espresso martini was insanely delicious. On the sweet side though. But I have a massive sweet tooth so it was perfect for me. Great staff! Kela was the bartender that helped us and she was amazing. And I was never left asking for more water, silverware or another drink. Which is impressive these days. Overall looks like it would be an amazing nice date spot. Judging by their absolutely amazing Caesar that clearly is made in house I can only imagine how amazing their steaks and fish are!

Went in for my birthday and was an amazing experience. The server was great, super friendly and knowledgeable. They did not forget about my birthday and gave us a free slice of cheesecake at the end, which was the best cheesecake I've ever had ,very creamy. started off with the Rockefeller oysters and octopus, which were both delicious and had the Seabass and lobster tails for dinner. Everything was amazing.

Amazing meal here! Wedge salad was a must try, it was absolutely delicious. The Ribeye I got was cooked to perfection! Would definitely come back here!

Sea bass is a must order!!!

Great service, very attentive staff! New silverware with each dish! Absolutely amazing experience! Sea bass is a must try! Most of the salads you can split, the Caesar dressing was delicious! The warm biscuits to start with the jam were delish! Mac & cheese and sprouts are a must order! So sad this place is closing soon. A little loud inside the restaurant but ambience is great!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here at Cut 432. Service is stellar, the octopus was outstanding and so was their steak. I will say I'm not a huge fan of the cramped area between the bathroom door and the servers station. I had an old fashioned and espresso martini as a night cap. Excellent drinks! We will be back.

The best happy hour in Delray! Food and drinks are great, they cook the meat to perfection, and the service is always excellent. Definitely arrive early if you want a seat at the bar, but you won't be disappointed even if you have to wait a little.

Excellent ! It's in a prime area on Atlantic Avenue and Delray Beach where people are walking by and you could people watch. I usually sit outside on the patio area two people watch and enjoy a great meal with excellent service. They have a phenomenal filet mignon. They have a phenomenal lobster tail. Also one of my favorite things there is the miso Seabass is to die for. It's so so good it's buttery Melts in your mouth. The miso sauce is amazing. I always ask for extra miso sauce because the glaze is so delicious and you get a really big piece of fish too and the plate sizes are always big so you definitely get your money is worth yeah it's pricey, but you're paying for location service and quality of food. One of my favorite places to go to when I'm in Delray. :)

Overdue post from May 2024. It was a busy night in Delray, Florida, while visiting on a business trip with my husband, and we were lucky to snag a reservation. I adore this charming town, and this restaurant came highly recommended. Johnny was our server, and everything I remember from that night was exceptional. The steak, potatoes, seafood, dessert, and espresso were all outstanding! I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning next time we're in town.

I thought the food here was great. I started with the meatballs and they were delicious. I then had the octopus appetizer which was also very good and then I finished with king crab legs. The person next to me had New York strip that looked awesome. I will definitely come back here again.

Dana is the best!! She always gives attentive service, hustles and serves with a smile. We really appreciate her service. Happy hour is phenomenal and the food is delicious . Highly recommend making a stop to a great spot on the avenue.

10 stars for us. Probably our 10th time here for dinner. Simply outstanding. Packed (as expected) when we arrived tonight for our 8:30 reservation- seated immediately Consider yourself very fortunate if Jimmy is your server. Have read such wonderful things about him on reviews & so happy he had our table ! Extremely knowledgeable and always on top of it. The entire team works so well together. Cocktails, wine, split the wedge salad. Steak and tuna for us. We always order the Potato Gratin - that crispy cheese topping. Perfection!! Chocolate cake & ice cream fur dessert - will have to run extra tomorrow! Management stopped by a couple of times - greatly appreciated!

It was good. I got the King Crab Scampi for $125 and it was good and the bread was excellent. The service was okay. I just wasn't wowed like I expected.

Classic steakhouse worth every bit of 4 stars. Steaks and seafood were cooked perfectly. I'm always amazed when waiters respond by saying they don't have blenders when I ask for a classic daiquiri, lol. IYKYK

My Go-To Spot for Brunch, Lunch & Happy Hour!…read more Avalon Beach House, formerly Avalon, has been one of my absolute favorite spots for years! Whether it's brunch with my girlfriends, a casual lunch, or happy hour, this place continues to be one of my go-to destinations. First of all, you really can't beat their $25 unlimited drink special! Espresso martinis, Bloody Marys, spicy margaritas, and mimosas for brunch.... what's not to love? It's such a great deal, especially for a fun girls' brunch! But what really keeps me coming back is the food, particularly their chicken piccata! It's absolutely delicious, with a perfectly crispy chicken cutlet served alongside fresh arugula with a truffle vinaigrette. Hands down, one of my favorite dishes! My girlfriend also absolutely loves their steak and eggs. Another huge reason I love Avalon is the bartenders! They're always so friendly, personable, and welcoming, which makes such a difference when you're a regular. Great service is something I always appreciate, and they consistently deliver. I also love having the option to sit inside or outside. The interior is bright, inviting, and has a great atmosphere, while the outdoor seating is perfect when I want to bring my dog along. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a beautiful South Florida afternoon. Personally, I prefer the daytime and early evening vibe, so I usually like to wrap things up before 8 PM. Between the delicious food, fantastic drink specials, wonderful bartenders, and fun atmosphere, Avalon Beach House continues to be one of my favorite places for brunch, lunch, and happy hour. Definitely a place I keep coming back to and highly recommend!

I had no idea they even had the private room in the back and that itself is huge with multiple booths, high tops, a private bar, and lots of floor space. The regular restaurant is also very large with a large indoor bar and outdoor patio seating as well. The service was absolutely outstanding! The bartenders made lemonade, sweet tea, and any other drink you could possibly imagine all from scratch. They were friendly and efficient. The staff was constantly walking around taking orders and cleaning up dirty glasses/plates. I have a nut allergy so I was asking about the menu items and one of them had pistachios and they offered to make the items without the pistachios on them for me which I've never had done before. It really made me feel special. This place is super cute and the food and drinks were 10/10. I'd definitely come back here for dinner or something.

Subject: Feedback regarding our Sunday brunch experience on 10/04…read more Dear Management Team, I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent Sunday brunch experience at your restaurant on October 4th at 11:30 am. This was my third time visiting, and I brought two of my girlfriends along for a brunch because I have previously enjoyed your establishment so much. While the food, drinks, and our server were outstanding, the interaction we had with your hostess left us feeling quite unwelcome. Due to some confusion regarding the parking situation, our party of three arrived a few minutes after our 11:30 am reservation time. Upon our arrival, the hostess openly reprimanded me about our lateness in front of my guests. While I understand the importance of reservation timing, the restaurant was largely empty at the time, making the confrontational approach feel unnecessary and embarrassing.线Shortly after being seated, one of my friends asked if we could switch to a different table. When we moved, the hostess called me out a second time. I completely respect that restaurants have rules and operational procedures to follow. However, given that the dining room was not busy, I expected a bit more flexibility and hospitality. It was uncomfortable to be called out repeatedly in front of my friends, and I chose not to say anything at the moment to avoid causing a scene. On a much brighter note, I want to give a major shout-out to our waitress, Sarah. She was absolutely wonderful, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food and drinks were just as delicious as I remembered. I am sharing this because I truly value your business and want to continue supporting it. I hope you can use this feedback to instruct your hosting staff on how to handle similar situations with a bit more kindness and flexibility in the future. Thank you for your time and for listening to my experience. Best regards, Fernanda Makis

Excellent service from Sisco Excellent food from the kitchen…read more Excellent drinks from the bar. What more to say? The greeting from our server set the tone and standard for the evening. The lobster appetizer was phenomenal. The chicken oysters, I personally don't see the hype there but the potato served with them is both the crispiest and the softest potato I've ever eaten. The short rib entree with mole sauce was as tender and flavorful as can be. The local jerk swordfish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate together created wonderful bites. Cornbread dessert was my choice, I love cornbread and that hit the mark with the blueberry compote and ice cream. One nitpick, and this is absolutely a nitpick. The string lights that hang down the wall to the tables are filthy. So dirty they looked like twine rope. Now that didn't change my experience or make me question the cleanliness of the kitchen at all. That food was perfect. And I wouldn't lower my rating .1 because of it I would go back to driftwood more frequently if my schedule fit their hours better, this place is top notch. I ordered the happy hour lamb burgers which were too very small burgers with big buns and very tiny pieces of meat in there. I also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts which had pecans and bacon mixed in. That was $18. My group felt everything was overpriced and the communication was not transparent. Erica was our server and she is lovely, both professional and warm. She's highly knowledgeable and provided a great introduction regarding the menu as well as Chef Muir's Argentine and Italian specialities. My friend and I enjoyed H20 and this is a venue that blesses the table with their own water carafe. I'm a huge fan! We placed our orders which wasn't an easy task given the variety of scrumptious options. The two of us enjoyed catching up while waiting for our meals. During this time, we were served an Amuse-bouche. It was a wrap featuring but not limited to asparagus, burrata, and pesto. This had a very clean taste. I enjoyed it but one bite was sufficient. I wasn't left desiring more. Fast forward to our generous sized starter salads. She enjoyed the Caesar and I opted for the deconstructed wedge but with sherry vinaigrette. This salad is not the typical wedge and highly enjoyable. I prefer the way Muir plates it rather than the cumbersome stacked style. Not to mention, the combination of ingredients brings it to another level. For entrées, my bestie ordered one of her go to dishes, the bronzino. I was indecisive and caught between a seared halibut and a slow fired prime angus steak. In the end, I veered in a completely different direction. The bucatini with braised oxtail, wild mushrooms, and pecorino was the winner. This proved to be an excellent choice. All breads and pastas are made in-house so this was a major selling point. We also shared sides of asparagus and creamed spinach but opted to go light on the sauce. The creamed spinach was the best I've eaten in my life and definitely left me desiring more. Unfortunately, I didn't take notice of the bread service until after the meal but I highly recommend ordering if you're a bread junkie like me. Due to the fact we were full from our delicious dinner, we didn't order dessert but it was a challenge saying no to the bread pudding. It sounded divine but taking a dessert paired with ice cream to go is never a wise choice nor as enjoyable as savoring it in the restaurant. We received a set of 4 mini desserts with the check. These consisted of 2 brownie bites and 2 delicious citrus madeleine cakes. #notonebadbite was eaten throughout the night! The prices are more than I'd typically spend on dinner, but the artistry, customer service, and high quality of the Michelin recognized cuisine warrants the price tags. This is a restaurant I would return to and I highly recommend dining here. While we didn't take advantage, they're currently featuring a prix fixe 3- course taste of summer menu. Finally, hospitality here is an important part of the culture. Nothing here is rushed so I suggest not dining here if you are pressed for time or don't enjoy a fine dining experience. In summary, this was a fantastic meal and pleasurable dining experience!

The restaurant has its own separate building. And it has a small private self parking lot. Inside there are two rooms. The one in front has large windows and is lighter and airier. The room in back has a small bar and two tables. Plus a service area and the unisex bathroom. Reservations are a must. We used open table. We came early and luckily our table was ready. Our server, Erica, was a gem. Warm and welcoming. And professional. Didn't miss a trick. She explained the menu to us. There were no specials that evening. I'd original thought I would order the branzino -- which she said was good -- but as they specialize in meats, I ordered steak. We were given an amuse bouche first. Avocado and tomato on a mini taco. Too cute. I started with a Caesar salad. I like anchovies and there were several on top. The salad had a nice garlicky dressing and cubes of sourdough bread croutons. My husband had seared foie gras with figs to start. The appetizer listed on the menu is actually pate -- as Erica explained -- which we didn't realize -- but she said if my husband preferred, they could do an actual piece of foie gras. Yes, please. It's one of his favorites. He said it was spectacular. For our entrees, we both order the small filet mignon. He ordered medium rare and I ordered medium. We like Pittsburgh charred. For a side (they are big enough to share), we got the creamed spinach. Both our steaks were perfectly cooked. We had been given steak knives, but each steak was amazingly tender. And delicious. The spinach was good. It needed just a touch of salt. We ate every bite of both items. Pre-dessert, they give an amuse dessert (!). A small plate of two mini lemon Madeline's and two small round chocolate brownie like cake. For dessert, we shared a slice of flourless chocolate cake. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The slice looked meager at first, but the chocolate is so rich and dense and fudgy that I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I brought a small piece of it home for later when I knew I would appreciate it more. We are already trying to figure out an event or celebration that we can use as an excuse to return here. Talk about a memorable meal? We will think of this superb restaurant for all the rest of our days.

Let's start off with the service- we sat at the bar. As he was nice enough, the bartender was extremely unprofessional. Never asked us if we wanted anything. We had to keep asking him for drinks, etc. He was in his phone the entire time and paid minimal attention to us. Did not even ask us if we wanted dessert. But he had his dessert he showed up at the bar with a banana that he began to peel and eat drift there at the bar. I was speechless. It seems ask the staff are allowed to be on their phone on the for in front of customers. To me that is NOT a fine dining experience. Let's talk food- the bread was average. It came with no butter or oven olive oil. The tomatoes and mozzarella appetizer had absolutely no flavor and the tomatoes were not even ripe. The gnocchi was probably the worst I have ever had. Starchy with a strange bitter flavor. I could not even finish it so I brought it home. The next day I threw it out. My friend ordered the lentil soup. That was tasty. To make it so worse the restaurant was empty with the exception of a party of about 10 people. Not 1 worker said goodbye when we were leaving. I never post long reviews, but this place got me so annoyed with the lack of professionalism.
