I had Malai Kofta with Garlic Naan and Goat Biriyani. Malai Koftas were never breakable. We had never seen such kind of Kofta. It hops from one plate to another when we did try to break it. My wife and I went to Curries last night, she has never tried Indian food before. My wife has never been a fan of anything other than what is considered "American" food, yet she also thought the food was great. We ordered two different dishes, both were good for different reasons. I thought her dish was a little too sweet, and mine seemed to be missing just a little something - but this was not enough to keep it from being five stars. On a side note: the place was very busy on the Friday night we went. It took almost an hour to get our food. There were dozens of call in requests in addition to a full restaurant. This was my first visit to Curries. For a buffet lunch it was not bad. The food was fresh since we were the first ones through the line when they opened. The variety was fine for the size of the restaurant. They were not busy only 2 other tables came in while we were there. The food was delicious and the owner is a very sweet lady who sat us for dinner even though the place was closing in 20 minutes. This is literally the best place for Indian food around here. They have a buffet every day of the week. It's absolutely worth every penny and then some. it's only about $12 per person for the buffet. The owner is a genuinely nice person and I see him working there all the time. The butter chicken and palak paneer are some of my favorites. The goat curry is fantastic too, everything is. The naan and rice are also delicious. The kheer though... it's on another level. I had asked about the recipe back when they only had the one location and I've been trying to perfect it ever since. It's so refreshing and light. I definitely recommend going to the buffet to try out the wide variety of foods they offer there. The dinner service is a bit more pricey, but they definitely give you enough to fill you up and it's worth it if you want to treat yourself or go out for a nice date. read more

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and it really just felt like sitting in a loved ones kitchen. The host was very accommodating, asking us questions to better make recommendations to us. She was friendly without being overbearing. The food was spectacular! It was filling but not heavy...surprising when you ordered a creamy curry over rice with bread for the side AND an appetizer . Really the food speaks for itself. Go try it! When we finished, the host was boxing up the leftovers and in the process accidentally spilt the leftover bread on the ground....and promptly ordered more from the kitchen to send home with us, regardless of us explaining it wasn't necessary. I've gone to Curries a few times now and every time I go the food is absolutely fantastic. Service can be a bit slow at times, but it seems to be more because of large unannounced parties and high demand than any form of understaffing or ineptitude. The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. I've tried the Vindaloo, the Tiki Masala, the Korma, and the Mango Curry with various meats and paneer and it's never failed to disappoint. Their spices and heat are always spot on. The Fish Pankora is also highly recommended to anyone who loves seafood and the dipping sauce mix that comes with it is amazing. read more

As another Indian reviewer said, this place will pleasantly surprise you. We went in after reading some reviews as we were in the area and had no expectations. However, their buffet came as a huge hit. Starters (esp chicken tikka kebab) were very a-la-carte style quality, not your usual red color rub with random spices. It had a nice thick creamy coating. Butter chicken was nice too but star of the buffet was goat curry. I am not kidding you, it was like home cooked mutton curry. Goat meat was very good quality. Overall a solid place to go. I went here for my birthday with ten people. Some had tried Indian food before and some people new to it. Everyone ordered something different.
