We had the fish curry and the mango chicken and off the hook would be huge understatement. The fish curry was tender and mild yet full of flavor. The mango chicken great flavor and was very hardy. The atmosphere was bright and inviting and the staff was warm and nurturing. This place is right on Evergreen Road in Everett and a must visit. This place is delicious and is our go to Indian food restaurant in Everett! The Paneer Tikka Masala is so good and so is the garlic Naan bread! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Why the 4 stars instead of 5? There is another Indian place located about 20 minutes south of this one that is just a tiny tiny bit better but it is also more expensive and not as nice of service as this place. We frequent curries much more because it is much closer and cheaper, maybe I should change the rating to 5 stars? Also just one time out of our many visits my curry seemed a bit watery. Still our number one curry place and we will keep returning! **Update- after trying other Indian places in the direct Everett are I decided I had to update my review from 4 stars to 5. I've never tried Indian Food before Curries so I was a bit skeptical, especially given it's location on Casino Road, but I'm SO glad I tried it. Friendly staff, clean facility, and good food! I love coming to this restaurant, everything is so flavorful. The staff is friendly and I've always been warmly greeted when I walk in. My favorite by far is their goat curry, a family recipe that you must try. Their fish fry has just the right amount of spices, best enjoyed when it comes out hot and crispy. Their butter chicken is rich and creamy, taste great when paired with their naan. All of their naan taste great, it's just a matter of preference. First of all let me just say that the service here is impeccable. They were so kind and helpful when we couldn't find our go to dish on the menu. They made a special curry. So nice. As for the food; we ordered samosas to start, which were so full of mixture with a crispy thin pastry, sooooo goood! The Channa Massala was very yummy with perfectly stewed chickpeas. The mango curry they put together for us was packed full of veggies and had a nice flavor, but will order it a bit spicier next time (totally my fault). The only down side to the meal was the goat cheese spinach naan; it was this and kind of flavorless, but nobody bats a 1000 . We had so much food that we couldn't finish so they brought out very nice containers and a package of extra rice, which was so thoughtful. Oh, and the atmosphere was calming and welcoming with just a light beautiful music playing. I really appreciate this feature. Some places don't understand this apparently; like between overly loud club type music and clattering dishes is the last thing You want with your dinner. Hubby and I visited here twice in a couple of days. The first time was on my birthday. It was great. They had a steam table with lots of food choices and Naam. We ordered off the menu. My dish was vegan and husbands vegetarian. There are lots of meat options for those who indulge. I found out about this place when they were just at a strip mall location. Since then, they've moved to a larger venue, with a fancier looking aesthetic. I love the goat curry here, and it's my go-to. The lassis are fantastic also, as are the naan bread choices. We just finished a family dinner here and it was fabulous! I wasn't even that hungry going in, but the sauces were so good that I could not stop eating! And the chicken was so tender. Even my picky 12 year old who hates everything loved it. We had garlic naan, veggie samosas (the 2 sauces are so good!!), butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and 2 different kinds of biryani, multiple orders of all. Not the best Indian food and far from authentic. Flavors weren't developed, small pieces of meat, that there weren't many of, but tons of sauce that had little flavor, served with cold stale rice. Garlic naan bread had no flavor even for being garlic. Ordered chicken tiki masala and lamb vindaloo...neither were great. We weren't satisfied and would not likely order from them again. I went there with my mother during their lunch buffet. I am vegan, and went there because it says on the menu, as well as in many reviews, that they have a number of vegan options. Unfortunately, the only vegan item in the buffet was the vegetable pakoras, so I ended up ordering Chana Masala off the regular menu. Frankly, I've had better. The manager was very nice and said I could help myself to pakoras while waiting for my dish, which took a while because, understandably, they have to prioritize the buffet, and again, I've had better pakoras. My mother ate from the buffet, which had the basics one expects at an Indian buffet, nothing fancy whatsoever, and there is butter and cream in just about everything--again, unsuitable for a vegan. They butter their bread, their rice, they put cream in their vegetable dishes... As a vegan who went there because the restaurant claims to be vegan friendly, I was disappointed. read more

It bums me out sometimes that they have split hours, but after the last fiasco of ordering somewhere, else we realized there is no better place than Curries. I ordered take out. The food arrived on time and hot. Two of the items in our order were missing - aloo tikki and kheer. Our order went in at 6:45p so if they were out of those items that early in the evening I would put it down to poor planning. Doordash credited me for the missing items, but we had to do without an appetizer and dessert. Our entrees - dal and tandoori paneer were good, the butter naan was soft, hot and delicious, and the raita, basmati rice and mango chutney were great. I would have liked a little more depth of flavor to the dal, but we will see how the leftovers taste as Indian spices usually develop more with time. I'm a hard judge because I lived in India, but this meal was pretty decent (I've had better in Everett.) I do take issue with the amount of non-recycleable/compostable containers I now have to dump in the landfill. read more
